Hi! My name is Paige! I am 23 years old and have tons of experience with pets! I worked at a vet clinic for two years as a veterinary assistant with pets of all shapes, sizes, and breeds. I also worked one summer for a few months at a professional pet-sitting company. I’ve owned breeds such as German shepherd, goldendoodle, pit bull, Maltese, schnauzer, and a golden retriever throughout my life. I have also owned cats, bunnies, a snake, a sheep, and ducks. I currently own a 7 month old German shepherd puppy that is very good with dogs and cats and a British shorthair who loves dogs and cats. You can trust me 1000% with your pet :)

Paige is amazing! She came through last minute when my other sitter had to cancel for a family emergency. She was extremely communicative and kept me updated on my dog’s status with photos and videos. She learned I was allergic to cats and vacuumed my dog’s bed before we picked him back up and even lint rolled him for me! LOL. She’s a gem!

Schedule
I work completely remote, so I have plenty of time to take care of your pet(s)!! Here’s how I handle daily and weekly pet sitting: Daily Routine: Morning: I’ll feed your pet according to its diet schedule, make sure it has fresh water, and check that its living area is clean. If it needs exercise, like dogs do, I’ll take it for a walk or engage in playtime. Afternoon: I’ll check in on them, offer additional playtime or enrichment activities, and ensure their food and water are fresh. For smaller pets or those in cages, I’ll make sure they have enough space and clean bedding. Evening: I’ll feed them their evening meal, clean up messes, and spend quality time playing or providing companionship. If they need medication, I’ll take care of that too. Weekly Routine: Health Check: I’ll review their overall well-being, noting any changes in behavior, appetite, or health. If I notice any signs of illness or discomfort, I’ll address them as needed. Grooming: Depending on the pet, this might involve brushing, bathing, or trimming. Regular grooming is crucial for pets like cats and dogs. For caged animals, I’ll check and clean their habitat. Enrichment and Socialization: I’ll ensure their environment is stimulating and engaging. I’ll rotate their toys, introduce new activities, and ensure they get plenty of social interaction.

When I’m caring for pets, whether it’s in my home or a client’s, I make sure everything is tailored to their needs. At my place, I start by setting up a pet-friendly environment with a clean, safe space and all the supplies they’ll need. Each day, I stick to their feeding schedule, provide plenty of playtime and exercise, and keep an eye on their health. I also make sure to clean their area regularly and follow any grooming routines. Spending quality time with them is important to keep them happy and secure. When I’m at a client’s home, I begin with an initial visit to get to know the pet’s routine and environment. I follow their specific care instructions closely, making sure to stick to feeding and exercise schedules. I stay alert for any changes in their health and update the owner if needed. I also keep their living space clean and handle any grooming tasks. I make sure the home is secure and stay in touch with the pet owner to provide updates and address any concerns they might have.

I love making sure pets have a blast while they're in my care! Here are some fun activities I’ll do with them: Playtime: Whether it's fetch for dogs, interactive toys for cats, or even puzzle games for small pets, I’ll make sure they get plenty of playtime that suits their energy and preferences. Walks and Outdoor Adventures: For dogs, I’ll take them on walks or to a dog park for some outdoor fun. If they enjoy running or exploring, we’ll make the most of it. Training and Tricks: If your pet enjoys learning new things, I’ll work on basic training or tricks. It’s a great way to keep them mentally stimulated and bond with them. Cuddles and Relaxation: For pets that love to snuggle, I’ll spend time giving them cuddles and affection. It’s all about making them feel loved and comfortable. Enrichment Activities: I’ll use toys, treat-dispensing puzzles, or new scents to keep their environment engaging and stimulating. This can be especially fun for pets who need mental stimulation. Exploration: For pets that are curious and love exploring, I’ll set up safe areas for them to discover new sights and smells, whether that’s in the yard or around the house. No matter the pet, I’m all about making sure they have a great time and feel happy and engaged!
