Safe & Fun Dog Care
I used to work at a dog shelter in San Francisco and did rehabilitation of special needs dogs for 2 years. I currently volunteer with the dogs at San Luis Obispo County Animal Services. Comfortable with almost any dog. I've taken care of feral dogs since I was a kid. My friends always have me watch their pets or step in and help with medical recovery as needed.

Sarah was so great with our boy, Leo🐾. She was eager to get to know about him before our daycare date, asked thoughtful questions and was very kind. Leo had a great time with her! Sarah kept us updated throughout the day (unprompted, which we appreciated) and gave me and my partner so much peace of mind knowing he was being well taken cared of. 💛💛💛

We planned a trip at the last minute and needed a dog sitter. Our two chihuahuas stayed with Sarah for two nights and she did great with them. Lots of updates and she accommodated their needs well.

Schedule
I'm home every day at the moment. When I'm not home the dogs have the choice of a crate or gated area in the kitchen. Unfortunately they don't get to free roam unless I know them well.

Safety, trust & environment
I currently have no pets at home and live alone so your pet will be my main focus when they are with me. My house is a very calm environment both indoors and outdoors. No fenced yard but plenty of outdoor space and close to many good walks. If they are staying the night they need to be comfortable sleeping in a crate or gated area in the kitchen.
A typical day
I usually take the dogs running or hiking if they are capable. Going to the beach is also an option but I keep them on leash. Playing fetch, tug of war and lots of chewing and enrichment toys.
