50 years of Dog owning experience. I love all dogs and feel as if I have a special bond with them. Your dog is safe and happy with me. I always felt bad putting my dogs in Kennels and my goal is to give your dog a loving stay where they will be treated like my favorite pet.

We needed someone to care for my mom’s 16 year old poodle while we went on a family vacation. Douglas did a wonderful job of caring for Rosie and dealing with the quirks of a senior pup. He sent many updates which kept my mom feeling calm and happy that her dog was doing just fine in her absence. We would certainly use him again!

Doug was superb. We dropped our dog, Indy, off at his house for a 4-night stay. He asked great questions before her stay. He was very easy to work with, before drop off, and when I brought our dog to his house. I received regular updates on her stay, which included some pictures. When I picked her up everything was ready for me to bring back home. Indy looked as though she'd had a great time. Many thanks!
Doug looked after Josie for over a month while we were overseas. We couldn't have been happier with the care and attention she received. They really bonded; that became clear from the many photos and comments Doug sent to us. We will certainly contact Doug the next time we plan a trip. We recommend him highly to anyone looking to board their dog.

Schedule
I'm a recent retired man in good health, with lots of extra time, who loves dogs. I get most of my exercise by walking and gardening. I have a Chihuahua/Terrier mix who gets along well with other friendly dogs, big and small.

Safety, trust & environment
In my house, dogs are treated like the gifts from God that they are. Your pooch is allowed on the furniture here, and I have a large fenced in backyard for play. I am a very responsible, kind and loving man who you can feel good about leaving your cherished pet with.
Pets
A typical day
I will play with your pooch, brush their fur if wanted, and play fetch. I live in a nice neighborhood for walks with a park down the street. Dogs can sleep in their own beds, on the couches, floor, or on the bed in my spare bedroom. Access to the backyard whenever they like. If your dog is good on a leash I will walk them.
