I grew up with animals, and I’ve a long career as a special educator and elementary school teacher. Nurturing children’s minds and spirits is what I love to do. My sister owns a dog rescue, and caring for animals has always been a part of my families life. I’m a professional care giver, and my family would love the opportunity to give your pet a second home.

Shalon is fantastic. Calm, responsible, flexible and all around lovely. She gave me updates with pictures for my pup's short stay and was so accommodating with a last minute booking away from someone else who did not work out. Maitri loved the well fenced back yard and all the comfy couch time.
As always, our dog had a wonderful time with Shalon! She always makes him feel welcome and right at home.

Shalom was amazing- providing pictures and updates. Being a Cane Corso, Winnie is very energetic and can get anxious when in new places. But she looked happy and was even making new friends. Couldn’t be happier or recommend her enough.
Shalon was wonderful! She accommodated a short-notice booking for our two large pups, who had never been boarded before. She sent frequent pictures and updates throughout the weekend, which really helped put us at ease while we were out of town. Both dogs came home tired and it was clear they had an active weekend. Schedule
I’m available throughout the week, and have time each day for caring for your pet. I teach during the day, and we are here on the weekends, and I have holiday vacations and summers to care for your pet full time. I also live 2.5 miles from the SB airport, so you are welcome to park your car here and take an Uber to save on airport parking, or I could also drive you over and pick you up, just let me know.

I have a fenced back yard and plenty of space in a quiet neighborhood right across from Evergreen Open Space and less than a mile from Haskells beach. I am able to create a comfortable, safe and nurturing environment for your pet.
A typical day
My children and I will take your dog on walks, pet them and love on them, give them any provided treats, play ball and give them lots of attention. We will also create a nurturing and safe environment for your cat.

- We love dogs and cats of all kinds, as long as they are safe around new people. My children are ages 16, 20, and 22, and they love animals! My boys are usually home from college during the holidays and summer, so it would be myself and my daughter looking after your pet the other times.
