I’ve been caring for animals since I was 12 years old, when I rescued my first dog. Since then, I’ve raised several dogs and gained experience with puppies, senior dogs, rescues, and dogs with fear-based aggression or anxiety. I also volunteered at the humane society, where I often worked with dogs that others were hesitant to handle. That experience taught me patience, confidence, and how to build trust with animals that need extra care and understanding. With my current rescue dog, I completed dog training bootcamp twice to help her overcome severe anxiety. Through that training, I learned how to provide structure, reinforce commands, and use positive reinforcement techniques to help dogs feel safe, secure, and confident. In addition to dogs, I also have experience caring for cats and rabbits. I’m comfortable adapting to different personalities, routines, and care needs, and I genuinely enjoy making animals feel loved, safe, and well cared for.
