About: I've had dogs and many other pets my entire life- a boxer, pugs, Akita, Cairn, and a terrier mix with health issues, requiring extra care. I'm recently retired, so pet sitting will be my full time priority. I will devote all my care and attention to your pets, plants and garden. As an avid walker and hiker, I especially enjoy caring for dogs who love outdoor time and exercise. I also love exploring new communities and being in nature, so pet sitting is a great fit-it allows me to care for animals while experiencing new places in a meaningful way. I no longer have pets of my own and truly miss the companionship they bring, which makes caring for animals especially rewarding to me. Winston is a Portuguese Water Dog (55 lbs) and loves people & other dogs. Winston stayed at Lisa's place, not at our home, because we were having our daughter's wedding in a destination place. Our home was far away, and we wanted Winston to go on the 5 hour drive with us and stay near by the wedding site. So, I went on Rover and asked to locate someone in Carpinteria. I found Lisa from Rover.Com living just up the road from the wedding site. Lisa took Winston and Scout to the beach, the park, everywhere and I do not think they were ever bored. Winston had a great time. Lisa always sent photos, and she always responded immediately if you text her. Our beach house rental did not allow pets, so Lisa was my rescue. Winston was just 8 minutes away from where we were staying. It was perfect. Breathtaking surroundings where Winston stayed. Winston and I thank you so very much. About: I've taken care of my own doggo Ripley for 8 years, prior to that many pets in the family growing up. Your pet will be treated like family, receive all the snuggles, exercise, walks, and play time! Must get along okay with other dogs - Ripley is a 15 lb Chihuahua/terrier mix, she loves small and medium sized dogs. We go for long walks everyday ~20-30 min 2x per day. I currently work from home for a software company so I am with the dogs all day! We always walk in the morning after breakfast, a mid-day potty, and sunset walk. I have a fenced yard so they can sun bathe as well during the day while I am working. I have a fenced yard and live in a neighborhood. We go for long walks and they get to smell all the yards and flowers and say hello to other dogs. We will sometimes go to the beach too.

I was always the one to be the go to whenever anyone needed a dog watching or when my parents would go out of town I would be the one to watch the dogs. I would give Leo 10 stars if I could! I had been looking for a pet sitter who could give care and attention to a small older dog. Someone who would understand the elderly and could communicate with them. From the moment he first visited, Enzo loved him. Leo is very talented at knowing how to "connect" with a dog and is incredibly detailed. He followed everything I asked to the letter. I was gone for 7 days and was out of cell phone range, yet knew I could trust Leo completely to care for Enzo. I will definitely book with Leo again.
Chloe was wonderful with Artimus. She was super communicative the whole time, sent photos throughout, and clearly took great care of him with plenty of walks. She was on time, respectful of the house, and left everything clean. We look forward to booking with her again!
Anela was wonderful with our two dogs. Detail oriented and thoughtful about all of their needs. She followed all of my instructions carefully which involved a lot of medications for one of my dogs. She left everything clean and tidy following a two night stay. She is on the younger side but very responsible. I highly recommend her.

Kendall was gracious enough to step in and care for our 8 mo old very excitable Kerry Blue Terrier puppy and our 9 mo old Maine coon kitten. These two have gone through very basic training and are still getting used to each other. They're a handful on any day. Kendall House-sat for us and took wonderful care of our two girls while we were out of town for two weeks. She did a wonderful job despite several challenges which she handled gracefully! I highly recommend Kendall!
Ava took care of our kitty and our house for 10 days while we were out of the country. We highly recommend her for pet sitting and house sitting. She made sure our kitty got her meds every day and was all around well cared for. The house was left spotless and in perfect order. We couldn’t be happier.

She handled them beautifully and checked in with us as needed to ask questions or to let us know her game plan. Our dogs absolutely loved her.
