My experience includes managing households with multiple animals, including up to five dogs and four cats simultaneously, as well as mixed households requiring coordinated feeding, walking, and individualized care routines. I have extensive experience caring for senior dogs and cats, including administering structured routines, monitoring mobility and comfort, and adapting care to age-related needs to ensure safety and stability. I have provided continuous in-home care for stays of up to one month, ensuring both reliable household security and consistent, attentive pet care. Responsibilities have included structured daily walks, feeding schedules, basic care routines, and maintaining the home in orderly condition. Across these sits, I have maintained a 99% five-star rating, reflecting a consistent record of reliability, professionalism, and high-quality care. I am experienced in managing complex, multi-pet environments with attention to detail, safety, and respect for each household’s specific instructions. I specialize in providing reliable in-home care for pets and household management during client travel, including extended stays of up to one month. My experience includes managing multi-pet households, supporting senior animals, and maintaining stable routines for pets with varying temperaments. I care for pets in the client’s home by following their established routines and instructions closely to maintain consistency and reduce stress for the animals. Before each sit, I consult with the owner to understand each pet’s specific needs, including feeding schedules, walking routines, medical requirements, behavioral considerations, and any household preferences.

“Lana was very attentive and easy to work with. Got plenty of pics of my pup having the best time at home and around town! Exactly the kind of care I'd hoped he'd get”

“This was my first time hiring Bekah to sit for my dog and she did a great job. I came home to a relaxed border collie which speaks volumes about the care she received. Bekah is communitive, prompt, and respectful. And she left the house clean! I will definitely be using her again.”

“I will be using Grace again! My dog is shy and tends to be depressed when I leave, as he’s a major Velcro boi. Grace was respectful of his space and had a good handle on his insecurities. She only stayed with him for 24 hrs but was on top of communication and his activities. Can’t wait for them to build their bond!”

About: I've been an animal lover my whole life. I've owned many pets over the years, rescued many dogs and cats, provided foster care for animals in need, and have always had a deep love and compassion for animals. My wife and I work remotely online so we can spend the majority of the day with your pet/pets. Our schedules are flexible so we can tailor our time to fitwhat these guys 🐕🐈⬛ need. My wife and can stay in your home, walk and feed your dog and/or cat and in the unfortunate event it is needed we can take your pet to the vet.
“Debra did a great job watching our senior dog (who needs some extra care) at our home. She arrived on time, left the house clean, and was quick to respond to messages. Thank you!”

About: I'm an experienced and energetic petsitter with excellent references. I love learning the unique personality of each pet in my care. It's rewarding to provide them an stress-free environment in their own home, while their parents are away. From dog walks to keeping a feeding schedule, and dispensing their meds to cuddling -- their routines and feeling secure with a sitter, is my goal. Happy to share my dozens of 5-star reviews from another platform. I am a freelance writer and designer, which affords me the ability to be more present for your pets than a sitter with a regular outside work schedule. When I'm caring for your pets at your home, I'm dedicated to their safety and security. Though many dog parents enjoy off-leash activities with their pets, I keep dogs in my care on-leash at all times when outside your home or fenced yard. Even the most well-trained dog may not keep their recall training with a new person. For indoor cats, I'm agile in keeping them indoors (especially when walking through the outside doors.)
About: I’ve cared for animals my whole life—dogs, cats, and especially puppies. I’ve personally trained two puppies from scratch, so I’m comfortable with the patience and consistency it takes to support a dog through their early years. I have a deep, intuitive connection with animals and often find I understand their energy and needs even better than people’s. I work for myself from home here in Santa Barbara, which means I have plenty of flexibility to give pets the time, attention, and companionship they deserve. Whether it's daily walks, belly rubs, or just a calm, safe space, I approach every animal with genuine care and a tender heart. I’m also very active, so long walks and outdoor time are a highlight for both me and the dogs I care for. I work for myself and from home, so my schedule is very flexible. That means I can easily adapt to your pet’s needs—whether it’s regular walks, drop-in visits, or overnight care. I’ll always make time to give your pet the attention and consistency they deserve. Every animal is unique, and I take the time to understand their individual needs, energy, and comfort level. I’ll meet your dog or cat where they’re at—whether that means extra space, extra snuggles, or gentle structure—with clear, compassionate boundaries to keep them safe and happy. If your pet is staying with me, they’ll be treated like one of my own. I live in a calm, pet-friendly apartment near Santa Barbara City College, with plenty of walkable paths and green spaces nearby. I love getting outside and take dogs on multiple long walks throughout the day. If your dog is social and has solid recall, I can bring them to local off-leash areas for supervised play and exploration. I have one small dog of my own—Pepper, a 3.5-year-old mixed breed who’s very friendly and well-socialized. I also have two young stepsons who are with us 50% of the time, so dogs staying in our home must be kid-friendly. The good news? Your dog will get plenty of love and attention from four caring humans. I’ve trained two of my own dogs from puppyhood and am confident managing a range of behaviors—from leash training to crate routines and basic obedience. I’m also comfortable administering medications and caring for senior pets or those with special needs. For cat care, I’m especially attuned to their unique rhythms and boundaries, and I provide calm, consistent care whether I’m visiting your home or caring for them during a stay. Whether I’m boarding, walking, or house sitting, your pet will be safe, respected, and genuinely cared for—just like family.
“What a lifesaver! We were out of town when our senior dog needed a last minute change in boarding on a major holiday. She swooped in and saved the day to take care of our dog. She was a great communicator - sending videos and photos that we really appreciated. Our dog looked visibly relaxed in her care as well. We truly appreciate her care for our dog.”

About: Hi, I’m Lauren! I’m a lifelong animal lover and dog mom to two adorable pups: Buttercup (12), my sweet senior with special needs and daily medications, and Mochi (5), a goofy, high-energy ball of love. I’ve raised them both since they were tiny pups. I grew up with huskies and horses, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Whether your pup needs long walks, gentle care, or a calm, experienced sitter for meds or routines—I’ve got you covered. 🐾 Why pet parents book me: • Firsthand experience with senior dogs & medications • Calm, loving, and deeply reliable care • Great with shy, energetic, or special needs pups • Flexible for last-minute walks or overnights • Fast communication & peace of mind while you’re away Most of my time is spent at my house as I am a work remote/work from home freelance video producer and editor in television. So your pet will have my full attention and go on lots of walk. I’m able to accommodate schedules and routines! We also have a fenced in backyard for the animals to run around in. At home, I keep your babies with me and separate from our two very friendly (with dogs and humans) shitzu pups. If you’re comfortable with the pups mixing and mingling, then I’ll let them hang out together. Otherwise, I’ll keep your pet with me in my office. My home office has a couch, a dog bed and if they like to cool off their warm bellies, a hardwood floor. Regardless, your pet will be with me! I like to take walks around the courthouse since it’s so pretty and close by, so we’ll do that as well. We also have a back patio that I can additionally let them run around in. Depending on your comfort levels and size of your pup, your pet can sleep in my bedroom (not in bed) or in the living room in front of our bedroom on a plush dog bed. ***A couple of side notes: 1. Let me know any restrictions your pet has around food, diets, allergies and treats. 2. We also have a crate, if that’s something you want/need for your pet. 3. Please wait for a confirmation from me regarding your booking. I do accept last minute requests but every now and then last minute obligations come up!

“Our dogs were well cared for by Mike! When we got home from our trip the pups were happy, the house was clean, and while we were gone his communication was excellent. Will book Mike again!”

“Auri is amazing! We have two cats (one shy and one outgoing) and she did a great job vibing their personalities and making sure they were both comfortable. She was very communicative and sent detailed updates with pictures and videos. She stayed at our house and we came back to everything being totally clean- she even left money for a movie she had rented on Amazon which was totally unnecessary but very considerate. I would highly recommend her.”

“Olivia is amazing. She helped us out last minute to sit our dog Snowby at the Hilton hotel where we were staying. She was prompt in her replies and was extremely flexible with the rover arrangement for the day. She took Snowby out for walks regularly and gave her enough attention to keep her pampered and loved. We highly recommend Olivia for taking care of your puppers and doggos.”

“Chrystal is awesome! She was so sweet with our senior dog, Charlie, and took such good care of him. She even brought him some homemade treats! She ensured she had plenty of time for our meet and greet, so I'd have a chance to get to know her a little before committing to having her care for Charlie in our home. I really appreciated that. She was very respectful and flexible, and checked in about our return time, to make sure Charlie would have the care he needed if we returned later than expected.”

Ellie was a godsend! She made Freckle feel so cared for. I really felt that Freck benefitted from her loving attention. Ellie was super communicative and went the extra mile to help me and my kitty stay connected—my babe has had a lot of changes since being rescued and she has a tendency towards UTI symptoms. That said, Ellie cares deeply for animals and I am sure she would give the world to each of them, no matter their needs. Ellie was so caring to Freckle and they formed a sweet connection! Will definitely be requesting her as a sitter for Freck again.

Solomia was absolutely wonderful with Lumi! I felt very comfortable knowing Lumi was in great hands while I was away. She was attentive, communicative, and felt that she treated Lumi like she was her own. I came home to a happy, well-cared-for pup, which is all you can ask for. I unfortunately had a flight delay on my last day of the trip and Solomia helped out to come back and care for Lumi after her original service time. I would absolutely trust Solomia with Lumi again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and loving sitter. Thank you, Solomia!

Stefanny is a gem! I feel so lucky to have found her on Rover while visiting Santa Barbara this month. Stefanny took such good care of my kitty while I was away for the weekend. I felt at ease knowing my kitty and home were in caring hands, especially knowing that she is a cat mama herself. Stefanny's energy is very calming and she asked thoughtful questions about my kitty's routine. She sent me daily photos and updates throughout the weekend which was much appreciated. I arrived home to a spotless home and happy kitty. I highly recommend Stefanny!!

We SO enjoyed having Deborah watch our home and take care of our dog. Charlie was genuinely happy when we got home - not just happy that we're home. This isn't always the case when someone new stays, so this is huge. Our house was left in perfect shape, and Deborah was great with communication and updates. We will absolutely look forward to using her again.

Hannah was great with our dog who is very old and has some health problems. We didn’t want to just leave her with anyone. But Hannah has a lot of experience with dogs. She was very sweet and responsive, respectful and our dog liked her! I would definitely use her again.

Leo was absolutely incredible with our dog, and we couldn't have asked for a better sitter. He stayed at our house for a week with our 85-pound pit bull, who is the sweetest lovebug but also comes with a lot of... personality. He's incredibly strong, has the energy of a toddler on steroids, loves to jump on people, has no concept of personal space, and struggles with separation anxiety after being a COVID puppy. He's definitely not the easiest dog to care for. Leo handled all of our dog's quirks and special needs with patience, kindness, and confidence. He kept us updated throughout the week with lots of photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind and allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our trip knowing our dog was in such great hands. In the past, we've limited our travel to trips where we could bring our dog because we worried about leaving him with someone else. Finding Leo has been such a huge relief, and it's opened up so many more possibilities for us. We won't hesitate to book him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone who will genuinely care for their pet.

Suzanne was everything you’d want in a dog sitter—a lifetime of experience with animals, including emergency care—she’s responsible, a good communicator, and great with the dogs. I left my home and precious pups without a worry. A good dog sitter has to be about more than your dogs liking them. Suzanne’s background with animals, her wealth of knowledge and decades of experience make her the ideal pet sitter.
CAITLIN is the BEST!! We have two dogs and two bunnies- the bunnies are chill, the dogs not so much. Caitlin however won them over instantly and they ADORE her. I feel so at ease and relaxed when Caitlin is caring for our fur family. She sends lots of pics and truly treats them as if they were her own. The house always looks immaculate when we return. Highly recommend!

Chloe was wonderful with Artimus. She was super communicative the whole time, sent photos throughout, and clearly took great care of him with plenty of walks. She was on time, respectful of the house, and left everything clean. We look forward to booking with her again!

Anela was wonderful with our two dogs. Detail oriented and thoughtful about all of their needs. She followed all of my instructions carefully which involved a lot of medications for one of my dogs. She left everything clean and tidy following a two night stay. She is on the younger side but very responsible. I highly recommend her.
This was my first time hiring Bekah to sit for my dog and she did a great job. I came home to a relaxed border collie which speaks volumes about the care she received. Bekah is communitive, prompt, and respectful. And she left the house clean! I will definitely be using her again.
