About: My motto is that it’s my responsibility to make sure that each dog under my care is HAPPY and SAFE. Every day that I’m with your pup , I keep that motto at the forefront of my mind. I know how important dogs are to our lives, so it’s my duty to make sure that your pup gets to experience the same kind of love and care that they’re used to at home . I’m a huge dog lover, so making pups as happy as can just come second nature for me ! Although I’ve been a lifelong dog lover, my experience with pups is much more far reaching than that. I’ve worked with dogs big and small and loved taken care of all of them equally It’s always great to chat with owners about what makes their pup tick ! Finally , I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have always loved taking care of them. I have a dog of my own and have helped care for pets of all kinds, from neighborhood pups to family cats. I’ve participated in dog training classes, I’m certified in animal CPR, and I’m currently a pre-veterinarian major studying biology. So this isn’t just something I enjoy, I’m truly passionate about it. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I always try to make them feel safe, loved, and understood. Whether it’s a walk, a check-in, or just some company while you’re away, I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own! As a college student, I have a pretty flexible schedule. I have lots of time during the week and weekends to hang out with your pets. Walks, check-ins, playtime, I’d be so excited to do any of these with your furry friends. I love being outside and active, so spending time with animals is honestly the best part of my routine. I’m super mindful about keeping pets safe and comfortable, whether I’m in your home or out on a walk. I always follow care instructions closely, and I’m trained in animal CPR, so I’m prepared for emergencies (just in case!). I’ve also taken pet training classes, so I know how to read behavior and respond calmly if a pup gets nervous or overly excited. My goal is always to make your pet feel secure and happy, and to leave you feeling totally at ease, too.

“I have a Great Pyrenees puppy, newly rescued off the L.A. streets a couple of weeks ago, with no I.D. or training at all. She is big and strong and I am not, so I needed the right dog-walker for the 50-pound dog, and picked Kayla K. because she raised her own 100-lb. Labrador from his puppyhood. I cannot praise Kayla enough! We started with a dog dancing around, getting tangled underfoot, and grabbing the leash like a toy. That behavior is nearly all gone now. Kayla is prompt, warm, friendly, outgoing, brought the right collar/leash combo. (now I've bought my own). My puppy gets excited when she hears Kayla's car in the driveway, and greets her joyously, and comes home nicely tired out and smiling. I took my dog yesterday to a professional dog trainer to get some help with crating and commands (like down and come), and he, a professional, was extremely impressed with my dog's calm heeling abilities that she had acquired, thanks to Kayla.”

About: My entire life I have been surrounded by the best furry family. We had well trained, obedient and incredibly kind dogs growing up. I wished upon a star at 10 years old and voila, I got my first golden retriever puppy as a present a few weeks later. Duke Skywalker was my first big responsibility, from working on potty training to letting him off leash on hikes and on the beach. He trusted me and I trusted him. During the pandemic, he was getting older and I did what I could to help him feel comfortable and loved. Even when he wasn’t able to walk, I’d place him in the back of the car and just sit with him watching the waves cuddled up with blankets. Must have patience with the older pups, and I loved every minute. I have trained my family’s adopted pups and they caught on fast. My roommate has a cat who I help care and train for when she is out of town for work, who knew training a cat actually works. Persistence, love and patience is key! I’m currently in between jobs, figuring out if I want a career switch. I have been wanting to surround myself with pets and helping anyone who needs it. I understand not having as much time as one would like, therefore happy to lend a hand in helping walk, feed, sit, even cuddle if your pet allows. I have a big space in my home and love to go outside and enjoy the fresh air, especially if it’s along the beach on a sunny day. In a client’s home, I would play with my new furry friend in the yard if they have or research nearby safe dog parks, or parks to walk with them to. And if the dogs or cats allow, always up for cuddles when sitting on the couch ‘Netflix & chilling’!

About: My first friend and best friend was a sweet as pie cockapoo named Pinky. I've grown up with dogs and cats my whole life and currently share my life with a beautiful, sweet, and athletic pitbull mix named Jackie. Jackie loves to make new friends and since I have a fenced in yard my home is perfect for playdates! Hoping to meet and care for some great animals here. I work from home full time. I run my own business and have a flexible schedule. I’m very active and spend a lot of time at the beach. I have a fenced in private yard with lots of space for doggies to play. I live in an upstairs unit of a duplex and my downstairs neighbors have a small pug.

About: I have two pets of my own that I love and adore but looking for something to do part time. I’m available Saturday’s and Sunday’s and most weeknights. I currently do have a full time job with a flexible schedule. I’m open most of the day Saturday and Sunday! I can also do some evenings during the week. Caring for animals has always been a passion of mine. From dogs, cats to horses, I’ve spent my whole life around animals! I currently have two indoor dogs that I love dearly.

About: I have lots of experience with senior dogs, this includes administering medication in pill form, providing gentle walks, and quiet company. I also have experience with large breed high energy dogs who require lots of exercise. As well as small dogs who just need a trot around the neighborhood. I recently moved here from Northern California and am currently going to school online while working part-time at a local restaurant. My schedule is pretty flexible, which means I have lots of time to hangout with your fur babies! I love spending time with animals, getting outside for walks, and making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I have a dog of my own, so I know how important it is to find someone you trust with them. I’d care for your pets just like I’d want someone to care for my own! About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 10. Friends, neighbors and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, transport and board for many years. I will give your pet as much love, attention, and exercise as I give my own. I am currently working from home, so I have ample time to be cuddle, walk, and entertain your dog throughout the day. My daily routine is very flexible and accommodating for your pet's routine. I have a house with a balcony and access to sidewalks. I never let a dog outside without a leash and will only take a dog to a dog park if it is requested by family.

About: I grew up with dogs, love taking care of them and love to walk for hours! I am offering this service until I get a dog of my own :) I work from home with flexibility in my schedule. I love to get out for breaks during the day and live close to a dog park. I have a gated outdoor space and live in a dog friendly neighborhood. I also cover up my furniture so that the dogs can go on the couch.

About: I grew up with pets of all kinds in my house. We currently have 3 dogs and 1 cat, and my step dad is a dog trainer so I have a bit of knowledge regarding that subject as well. I am experienced in walking, bath, and play time with all sorts of animals, not just cats and dogs. I have experience with horses, tortoises, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs etc. Starting in January 2026 I will be a student at Cal Poly majoring in chemistry! I have class for 4 hours Monday-Wednesday and Friday. I teach dance classes for 1-3 hours Tuesday-Wednesday evenings. My weekends are completely available! I am firm in my idea that animals need lots of attention, exercise and play time. I will listen to what your pet tells me they need whether it’s a cuddle, a walk, or a potty break!

“Ryan was a godsend! available all day last-minute on Thanksgiving when everyone else was booked or not accepting a solo-doggie who is not social and therefore needs one-on-one. Ryan was totally flexible, accommodating and very professional in regards to anticipating and prepping for all of Sadie's needs. i would highly recommend Ryan and will definitely call him again when next in Santa Barbara! Sadie had a wonderful 3 hour romp at one beach and later the same day another 90 mins at another beach! Needless to say a tired dog is a happy dog and she slept well that night after a full body massage for well-exercised muscles! Ryan is very caring and enthusiastic regarding animal care for cats and dogs as well as considerate, polite and accommodating towards me - yes, a self professed people-pleaser! Thank you Ryan!”

About: I was a nanny over the last several years and always easily got acquainted with whichever household pets came with my jobs. I am confident with animals and easily make a connection. I am gentle and kind and I’ve never had had a problem with any animals, I have run into or cared for. I currently just moved back to Santa Barbara and do a little pet sitting already. But I’m looking to expand my platform. I have an open schedule and want to have a Part-time job that I enjoy doing. I am happy to provide, whichever services are needed per sitting.
