I am on Rover full-time at the moment, so I have all the time in the world for your furry friends! I do have my own dog and 2 cats, so I’m not currently available for any overnight stays. I have my own car and live close to downtown, so same-day bookings are no problem!

Please let me know if your dog has any specific behaviors, allergies, or special needs I should know about. I’ve worked with almost all breeds and love them all! I know some dogs/breeds can tend to be more difficult than others or take a little longer to warm up to a stranger. I take ensuring that your dog forms a positive relationship with me very seriously. I’d love to know any behavior issues you may experience on walks, including triggers, fears, or if your dog tends to pick things up off the ground. The safety of your pet is my top priority!

I love to make sure dogs get both the physical and mental stimulation they need on walks. I’m happy to take your dog to a park, beach, or hike! I personally also love running, so taking your dog on a jog to get out some of that extra energy is no problem. I love the outdoors and finding new places to go on walks/hikes, so if your dog has a favorite park/walking path/hike/beach, it’s a win-win! Given your permission, I am confident in monitoring the behavior of your dogs playing with other dogs in dog parks or on beaches. From gaining experience in supervised playtimes with 40+ dogs at once, I’ve become keen on reading dogs' body language and can ensure your dog's safety when around other dogs.

New to Santa Barbara and open to one-time/recurring clients! I've been around and owned dogs/cats/lizards/bunnies/horses my whole life. I have 4 years of experience as a dog handler at doggy daycares in Arizona and, most recently, in Chicago. Through my experience, I can confidently follow feeding routines, administer medication, monitor dogs' behavior, and follow proper leashing procedures. I have worked with dogs under 10 lbs up to 150+. I have worked with high-anxiety, reactive, and special needs dogs and can assure you I have all the patience in the world to ensure the comfort and safety of your pet. I have a 1.5-year-old German Shepherd who has vastly expanded my skills in dog handling and training. At my most recent job, one of my key roles was guiding puppies and adolescents through social interactions as well as practicing being on a leash. I’m happy to work on leash manners with dogs of any age!

Nicole has been SUCH a wonderful dog walker and help to me. She is so consistent and reliable and has great communication. She gives my dog so much love and attention and has gone above and beyond for her (and I) multiple times. I can’t recommend Nicole enough! We are sad to be leaving the area and wish we didn’t have to stop working with Nicole!!
