“Cheryl was great with coco, we did and meet and greet before our date walk and that helped a lot since I hadn’t had that with anyone else, it sure made me happy to know the person before. Cheryl is very caring and made sure that coco had enough food and water before she left. I would definitely book her again.”

“Christian is super nice--punctual and responsive to questions or requests. Our Golden Retriever jumps for joy when he arrives for a walk. Christian has been giving our dog a very active walk and adventure. We are extremely pleased with his work and hope to work with him frequently in the future.”

About: I’ve taken care of both big and small dogs since I was around 8… feeding, walking, bathing, picking up poop… you name it. I know each person has particular methods and/or routines and I am more then happy to accommodate. I recently graduated from UCSB and am applying to graduate school now! I work in the evenings mostly so I’m very available for morning walks or house sitting if necessary :) In my home I make sure my pets are well loved and cared for as well as engaged with. Wether it’s outdoor dogs, indoor dogs with house rules, a walking schedule or feeding routine I’m here for it :) I’m not afraid to ask questions if I’m unsure of something either.
About: My first friend and best friend was a sweet as pie cockapoo named Pinky. I've grown up with dogs and cats my whole life and currently share my life with a beautiful, sweet, and athletic pitbull mix named Jackie. Jackie loves to make new friends and since I have a fenced in yard my home is perfect for playdates! Hoping to meet and care for some great animals here. I work from home full time. I run my own business and have a flexible schedule. I’m very active and spend a lot of time at the beach. I have a fenced in private yard with lots of space for doggies to play. I live in an upstairs unit of a duplex and my downstairs neighbors have a small pug.
About: I’m a retired restaurateur who just moved from the PNW to get out of the rain, catch a breath, check out new surroundings and do what brings me the most joy; dogs! I’m excited to have new furry buddies to check out the sights with. After I closed my restaurants I started pet sitting and doing walks. I've been on another petsitting app for the past couple years where I have all 5 stars, but I transitioned to Rover to hopefully gain more clients. I’m very assertive and controlled in my care with pets while always keeping in mind your directions and wishes. I've also spent a lot of time volunteering at shelters. I’ve owned three wonderful pitties, my latest I said goodbye to last year, so I’m great with bigger breeds as well! Please give me a chance to build my clientele in Santa Barbara Co! During my free time the first thing I look forward to are dog walks! I'm available Tuesdays & Wednesdays after 1pm and all day Thursdays & Fridays. Saturdays & Sundays I can do walks and drop-ins. Please allow me to care for your pet the way I would mine! Though I don't have a fenced yard, I make sure to keep a frequent potty break schedule and am hyper observant of your pet's cues. I can crate your pet as directed but will never pass up an opportunity for snuggles in bed or on the couch. If those are a no-go, I will make sure to respect and enforce your rules.

About: [Our Experience] Rusty is our first dog together as a couple, so we did lots of training the first year with trainers around town and on our own. We wanted to do the training "right", so we bought and read all the books, watched all the videos on YouTube, and spent hours with trainers in group classes and 1-on-1 sessions. Rusty's taught us a lot about not only what it means to be responsible dog owners, but also how incredibly special that bond can be between dogs and their humans (we're obsessed with our dog, but everyone else is too, right?!). Before Rusty, we were the designated godparents of a former roommate's Golden Retriever. We were there the day she brought him home as a puppy and every step along the way until they moved out five years later. We helped with training basic commands which eventually turned into teaching him fun party tricks (we made it to opening the fridge but just missed grabbing the beer can off the shelf!). Even when our roommate wasn't around, we'd bring him along on beach days, take him for walks around the neighborhood and hikes on the trails, and let him tag along on daily runs. This is all to say that we will love your pooch and take care of them like our own. With ten years of experience training two dogs we got as puppies, we've made ALL the mistakes and are better dog owners for having made and learned from those experiences. [Caring For Your Pup] Nicole cares for our young son at home during the day, so she has lots of flexibility to watch and care for your pup during their stay. We like to spend a lot of time outside in the backyard on nice days, so your pup will likely spend lots of time soaking up some rays or playing with Rusty in the backyard while Nicole watches the pups from the garden. :) Ethan works from home, so even if Nicole heads out of the house your pup is almost never left alone during their stay. We will accommodate your dog's needs by sticking to their normal routines while also making sure they receive plenty of play time and attention while under our care. Our lab is a super playful pup, so he will definitely keep your dog entertained if they like to play, too. :) He also knows how to read the room, though, so if your dog is more of the independent-type then Rusty will respectfully give them as much space as they need.
About: With experience in pet rescue, fostering, adopting, and sitting I offer compassionate and customized care for your pet's needs. Lover of all breeds and sizes; partial to senior dogs, I'm familiar with managing special diets, medications, or extra comfort. Safety and snuggles are the goal for every pet! I've been impacted by tech layoffs, so currently available to care for your pet at my home or yours, M-F, from 8am onwards. Plenty of notice will be given should my availability change, but my work is remote/from home so unlikely to have a huge impact on available hours. Mi casa, or Su casa! I'm in a single family home with a fenced yard. The yard area is accessible all day. I've got one small, dog-friendly, senior frenchie that will gladly share his cots, blankets, and toys but will likely ignore your dog most of the day cuz he's too busy napping. You're welcome to bring crates, beds, blankets, or toys to make your fur baby comfortable. But we love to share ours. Water bowls are accessible all day. I'm happy to provide food, treats, and/or meds per your instructions.
