About: I've cared for my family dog and rabbits for 8+ years. Neighbors and family have entrusted me with walking and caring for their pets while on trips. I'm currently house-sitting and looking for a job, so I am free to walk your pet anytime! I am happy to sparse out my time with walks and drop ins. I've recently watched a lovely 14-year-old cat throughout the day, with love, feeding, cuddles, and litter-box services. With taking care of dogs, I try to prioritize exercise, playful attention, and any extra care that they may need.
About: I currently work part-time at a doggy boarding place and I’m trained to work with all the types of puppies and seniors or any in between know how to administer medication and those that are time sensitive have also worked with disabled doggy’s ❤️ I currently work part time so on my extra time off, I like to take care of your pets when you are not available or just need the extra help ❤️ I will care for them the same way I care for my pets and give them all the hugs and love that sweet innocent pups deserve
“Bekah has been so great for our family! Raven, our very energetic lab puppy needs lots of attention and exercise. Bekah comes super prepared for each walk and even cleans her off before bringing her back home, if Raven gets into a mud puddle ect. She is very loving to Raven and does a great job with her. I would highly recommend Bekah for any pet sitting or walking needs.”
“I have a Great Pyrenees puppy, newly rescued off the L.A. streets a couple of weeks ago, with no I.D. or training at all. She is big and strong and I am not, so I needed the right dog-walker for the 50-pound dog, and picked Kayla K. because she raised her own 100-lb. Labrador from his puppyhood. I cannot praise Kayla enough! We started with a dog dancing around, getting tangled underfoot, and grabbing the leash like a toy. That behavior is nearly all gone now. Kayla is prompt, warm, friendly, outgoing, brought the right collar/leash combo. (now I've bought my own). My puppy gets excited when she hears Kayla's car in the driveway, and greets her joyously, and comes home nicely tired out and smiling. I took my dog yesterday to a professional dog trainer to get some help with crating and commands (like down and come), and he, a professional, was extremely impressed with my dog's calm heeling abilities that she had acquired, thanks to Kayla.”
“We have had 3 walks with the 1st together and I am so pleased with the outcome. Wrigley really likes Cheryl and is getting used to her, but I believe it’s going to be GR8”

About: I’m a sucker for anyone on four legs and have worked as a professional dog walker, cat wrangler, and pet sitter for fifteen years. I’ve also worked and volunteered in animal rescue, and have fostered several special needs bullies rescued from cruelty cases. I’m very active and love getting outdoors with pups for walks, hikes, and trips to the dog park. I work from home as a freelance writer, so my schedule is very flexible. Here are some additional things I’d like you to know: For dogs: * I use only positive reinforcement—gentle leads, redirection, clickers and owner-approved treats *Accustomed to handling and caring for multiple pups simultaneously * Extensive experience with (and hopelessly smitten by) bullies * Can administer oral meds and sub-q injections to compliant pups For cats: *Adept at reading behavioral cues * Fastidious with litter box hygiene *Experience caring for diabetic kitties, including diet compliance, glucose testing, insulin injections with pen or syringe draws with tolerant patients
About: I’ve had the pleasure of house sitting and caring for many of my friends’ dogs and cats over the last two decades; giving me hands-on experience with a variety of breeds and personalities. I also had the unique opportunity to date a dog trainer, which allowed me to work closely with his team and learn valuable insights about dog behavior, training, and care. From small, energetic pups to large, gentle giants, I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes and understand the importance of providing attentive, loving, and responsible care for every pet. I just resigned from my cooperate job of Engineering Project Manager, in order to fully dedicate to my startup. Since I can work from anywhere with my laptop, pet sitting offers a unique way to support this journey by slowing my burn rate, reducing the financial strain on my startup, and providing meaningful work in the process. It’s a perfect balance: caring for pets and homes while pursuing my dream. In my home, I prioritize creating a safe and comfortable environment for pets. I have a large, fenced yard that allows for secure outdoor play and exercise. Inside, I offer spacious spare rooms for pets that may need their own space, such as dogs that prefer to sleep alone. For crate-trained dogs, I have crates available, but only use them if the owner approves, ensuring the pet feels secure and at ease. Whether in my home or my client’s, I focus on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment tailored to each pet's unique needs.
“Monika was absolutely fabulous. She was loving with my dog and took great care of her. She was a terrific communicator as well. Would definitely have her take care of my dog again.”
About: I’m a lifelong pet owner and love all animals—big and small! I recently moved to Colorado for work and miss my family’s pup, so am here to be able to hang out with some more furry friends until I can get one of my own. For over ten years, I’ve been caring for other people’s pets, always making sure their pets are treated with lots of love. I have worked with animals of all ages from puppies to older animals, even have put on doggy diapers! I have also worked with animals with different behavioral problems or those that have medications. I love all animals and also have experience with cats, guinea pigs, and rabbits. I am happy to keep your animal with whatever routine they have to make them as comfortable as possible. One of my favorite parts of Colorado is all of the trails and would love to take your pup on some adventures (with your approval of course). Otherwise lots of walks if that’s something that your pup is interested in too! I’ll be sure to treated your special pets with lots of love when you’re away! :) I recently moved to Golden to start a job at NREL. However, I’m missing my family’s dog back home, so am hoping to get my animal fix in through this! My job is very flexible with hours and WFH availability. I prioritize making your pet feels comfortable when you’re away and I hope to keep their routine as best as I can. I also respect anything that you wish me to follow. I’m also happy to help water plants or take out the trash when watching your pet.
“Thank you so much! You were so kind to Ellie (plus all my cats that also wanted attention 🥹). I definitely will be booking with you again! Also, loved all the pics you took on the walks🤗”

About: I’ve taken care of both big and small dogs since I was around 8… feeding, walking, bathing, picking up poop… you name it. I know each person has particular methods and/or routines and I am more then happy to accommodate. I recently graduated from UCSB and am applying to graduate school now! I work in the evenings mostly so I’m very available for morning walks or house sitting if necessary :) In my home I make sure my pets are well loved and cared for as well as engaged with. Wether it’s outdoor dogs, indoor dogs with house rules, a walking schedule or feeding routine I’m here for it :) I’m not afraid to ask questions if I’m unsure of something either.
“James was great for Apache. He was on time, communicated throughout and sent me lots of photos which I appreciated very much. James even went out of his way to take Apache for a few car rides (with my permission of course) for different walk destinations. Overall James has been amazing! I will definitely get James to walk Apache again and recommend him to anyone.”

About: I’m a retired restaurateur who just moved from the PNW to get out of the rain, catch a breath, check out new surroundings and do what brings me the most joy; dogs! I’m excited to have new furry buddies to check out the sights with. After I closed my restaurants I started pet sitting and doing walks. I've been on another petsitting app for the past couple years where I have all 5 stars, but I transitioned to Rover to hopefully gain more clients. I’m very assertive and controlled in my care with pets while always keeping in mind your directions and wishes. I've also spent a lot of time volunteering at shelters. I’ve owned three wonderful pitties, my latest I said goodbye to last year, so I’m great with bigger breeds as well! Please give me a chance to build my clientele in Santa Barbara Co! During my free time the first thing I look forward to are dog walks! I'm available Tuesdays & Wednesdays after 1pm and all day Thursdays & Fridays. Saturdays & Sundays I can do walks and drop-ins. Please allow me to care for your pet the way I would mine! Though I don't have a fenced yard, I make sure to keep a frequent potty break schedule and am hyper observant of your pet's cues. I can crate your pet as directed but will never pass up an opportunity for snuggles in bed or on the couch. If those are a no-go, I will make sure to respect and enforce your rules.

We love animals and would love to give yours a lot of fun! Our front yard is fully fenced in for potty breaks and we live in a very safe, friendly and walkable neighborhood!

I have a car and can provide pet care daily, at times that work for you and your pets. I am unable to provide pet care in my own home, but can travel to your home as well as take your pets to parks or other approved locations in order for them to have the best experience.
“Christian is super nice--punctual and responsive to questions or requests. Our Golden Retriever jumps for joy when he arrives for a walk. Christian has been giving our dog a very active walk and adventure. We are extremely pleased with his work and hope to work with him frequently in the future.”

Riviera dog parents share their Rover experiences
We are so grateful that we found Monika on Rover. She is a wonderful person and was great with our dogs; they love her! Monika was clear and straightforward in her communication and punctual. Since we had not met in person before, it was very important to me that she arrive on time so that we could have a human meet-and-greet! I recommend Monika without hesitation.
