“Svetlana was a dream and our little guy loved staying with her. They went on adventures, walks and had a lot of fun together. She sent us tons of videos and pictures to make sure we were updated. I can tell she adores dogs and takes really good care of them :)”

“We are so grateful that our dog Mina got to stay with such a kind family. Bradley and Carolyn were incredibly attentive and caring, and it gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. They sent daily updates along with the cutest photos, which we really appreciated. If Mina could talk, I’m sure she would give them a 5 out of 5 rating. She loved playing with the other dogs and got plenty of walks and attention. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely book with them again.”

“Lynn and Marty were absolutely spectacular! From the moment I made contact with them, to the meet and greet, and the five days that Abby spent with them, I could tell that she was not just well taken care of, but absolutely treasured. We received lots of photos and messages! I wanted to book with them again, but unfortunately, they were booked during the time we needed them. But we will keep them as our number one go to in the future. Thank you again Lynne and Marty.”

About: I'm a 26 year old working part-time so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I have experience taking care of and training younger dogs and have a young dog myself. I love all kinds of dogs and will take care of your pets like I would my own. I'm working part time so I have varying schedules week to week with lots of time to take care of your pet! I'm always available all day Friday and Saturday morning. I frequently take long walks so your dog will have consistent exercise and frequent potty breaks. I have a private fenced in yard and a very friendly dog that loves playing with other dogs! I can easily crate your dog at night depending on what you prefer. I will follow your dog's routine feeding and care so they are happy and feel at home!

“Angelin was great, I’d definitely book with her again. She kept me updated with messages and photos and was really flexible with drop-off and pick-up. My dog can take a little time to warm up in new situations, but she connected with him quickly and made sure he was comfortable and well taken care of the whole time.”

About: I have been around and cared for dogs since I was in middle school. I have a deep care for dogs and believe giving them the absolute best life while they are with us is the only way to engage with them. I have a knack for training, it somewhat comes natural to me and I have the patience for it. Im happy to work with your dog to either reinforce or teach commands/tricks. Recently, I left my corporate job. I am taking time off to assess my next career move. Which means I have wide open flexibility and need to take walks to keep thinking. What a better way to do that than to have a walking companion! I do not have pets which means all of my attention goes to yours! There are two couches, a bed and a patio for your babe to enjoy. I am available around the clock to play, walk, teach.
“Honey was incredible with Cooper! She kept me well updated and helped Cooper face some of his fears, kept him engaged and active and totally happy. I’ve never felt more comfortable leaving him and would gladly have him stay with her again.”

“Ashly was amazing!! She is super communicative and responsive, and I felt so comfortable and safe leaving my pup with her. He came home happy and well loved. We would absolutely trust her with our pup again!”

About: Lifelong dog lover who grew up training and caring for them. My partner and I have fostered dogs over the past few years and love caring for all sizes and personalities. When your pup stays with me, they’ll be treated like family and receive the same love, attention, and care I’d give my own dog. I currently have no other pets so your pup will get my full attention while you’re away! I currently work during the week as a registered nurse from 7am-5pm. My partner works from home and is available throughout the day. We love to be active and get out of the house daily for walks. I recognize meeting new people can be stressful for many dogs. I make sure to take time to get to know a dogs personality with the first interaction and give them time to adjust to a new and unfamiliar person/environment.
“Damian is the best! He has looked after our dog for over three weeks while we were away, and he cares for her just like his own dog. Sprite gets daily excised and fun time, and we receive frequent updates on her. Will go back to Damian again!”

“Ellen was amazing! my little dog needed medication administered and some special attention and Ellen handled it no problem. We highly recommend her and will have our little dog stay with her next time we leave!”

“Jacqueline and Roland were wonderful with Remy. They were mindful of his needs and accommodated him beautifully. They sent me pictures to eliminate my anxiety and were always responsive. We had a great experience!”

“They were incredibly hospitable and accommodating. I’m so grateful to have them right here in my neighborhood! I’m very particular about my dog’s care—especially coming from a country with advanced dog care standards. This was my second booking, and I had complete peace of mind knowing my dog was safe, happy, and well cared for in a clean home with a fenced yard, playing with their sweet puppy, Daisy. The photos Vivian sent meant so much to me—it was comforting to see my dog not only safe but also happy and social. What reassures me even more is that they previously owned a small dog before Daisy and truly understand the needs of small breeds at every life stage. I’m grateful to have found such thoughtful, trustworthy people. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again—and I look forward to seeing Daisy next time too!”

“Jeanine was wonderful. Very friendly, great with our dog and and great with us. Our pup frequently get nervous about being left behind, or getting to know other dogs, and by the time we got there for pick up the next day, our dog was comfortable with Jeanine's dogs and was happy to be there. We have already booked a second stay. Thanks Jeanine!”

“Ema and her husband were great. We were kept up to date with pictures & play by plays without having to ask how she was doing, asked questions on her food routine when there were supplements missing from the list of instructions, and was flexible on our time to pick our Quinley up when we were running a bit late, which was also much appreciated. Would and will do business with again.”

About: Hello, my name is Sandy and I am looking forward to taking care of your furry friend. Like most other animal lovers, I’ve had dogs of all kinds and pets all my life. I have patience, problem solving skills and the ability to cope with challenges under pressure. Also a deep love and appreciation of mother nature and animals. I am semi retired but still enjoy working and set my own schedule so I am available weekdays and weekends. Your pet will be well looked after. I love to go to the beach and will look forward to taking your furry friend with me. Shoreline Park is another favorite daily walk activity and just minutes away. My condo has a small fenced yard and a comfortable home for your doggie’s vacation. I live on the mesa in the Highlands with lots of easy walking just outside the front door and in the Honda Preserve so your pet will have plenty of short walks. I have been a dog owner all my life but when my last dog Nates, the absolute best dog in the world my children and I rescued from the animal shelter, left the planet for dog heaven, I couldn’t bring myself to get another and my children were all grown so I very much enjoy taking care of other’s pets.

“Ashley did a wonderful job caring for my 2 cats while I was away! One of my cats is shy and requires daily medication, and she handled both without any issues. About: I have been around and taken care of pets my whole life. I have experience volunteering in a shelter with both cats and dogs. I currently live in a house with four cats and frequently assist with pet care, including tasks such as feeding, grooming, cleaning litter, and playing with them.

About: Hi, I’m Lana (short for Svetlana). I’ve always had a deep love for animals and genuinely enjoy spending time with both dogs and cats. While I don’t have a dog of my own, I’ve spent years caring for friends’ and neighbors’ pets, gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of personalities, including senior dogs who need a little extra patience and care. I understand every pet is different and adjust my care to fit their needs—whether that means a slower, gentler pace for senior dogs, active playtime for puppies, or simply keeping them comfortable and relaxed. I’ve also had the unique experience of walking dogs down the aisle at weddings and caring for them throughout the event, so couples can fully enjoy their special day. I stay calm, reliable, and confident in both everyday care and high-energy, special moments. It’s important to me that every pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I’d love the opportunity to meet your pup and give them the attention they deserve. I work full-time during the week with two days from home, but on the weekends, my schedule is completely open and I can ensure potty breaks every 1-2 hours. Just let me know what your dog’s needs are :) We sure can work it out. I will always make sure to never leave your dog unattended. Your dog deserves attention and safety is very important to all of us. I will care for your dog as if it’s my own.
“Cheryl did an amazing job with my shy cat! She made sure she received the proper care by administering her medication. I would feel safe leaving her with my baby again.”

About: I’ve been the proud owner of a tabby cat named Podunk for just about a year now. Although she lives in a small apartment, I pride myself on giving her an engaging and stimulating life. I am happy to take on the grittier tasks of taking care of a cat, such as litter and other messes. Further, I’m knowledgeable about how to keep cats away from scratching furniture or climbing on unwanted surfaces.

About: Currently also working for local pet sitting company and specializing in cats for them. Grew up with cats but it’s too dangerous to have them in my neighborhood so I will give your cat all my pent up kitty love
About: I’ve spent over 30 years caring for dogs and other animals, both personally and professionally. My approach is intuitive, compassionate, and grounded in a lifetime of hands-on experience. I run a local Montecito dog walking business, working with dogs of all breeds and specializing in big, athletic, and high-energy dogs. Pet care fits naturally into my lifestyle. As a Montecito-based business owner and endurance athlete, I spend much of my time on the trails and beaches — often with a dog by my side. My lifelong love of animals, combined with my endurance background, makes me especially well-suited for larger or high-energy breeds. I genuinely love bonding with dogs and take pride in being a calm, confident presence — a natural pack leader they can trust. I care for the dogs I walk as if they were my own — with plenty of love, attention, and respect for their individual needs. I’m known for giving dogs the exercise they truly crave, whether that’s an energizing trail walk, a beach romp, or a steady neighborhood outing. I stay fully present and engaged, making sure each walk is safe, stimulating, and tailored to the dog’s energy level and personality.
“Jenna was amazing! It was our first time using Rover for our cat and rabbit. She gave us peace of mind during our trip and we would absolutely use her again. Thank you Jenna!”

“This was my first time using rover and leaving my dog for day sitting. Last minute our sitter couldn’t watch our dog, so we brought her with us on our trip to Santa Barbara. We wanted to explore, but did not want to leave her in a motel room, so we looked for a doggie daycare. Honey was responsive and took our dog in last minute. Even on a holiday weekend. I was nervous about my dog having anxiety, but Honey was very friendly and communicated throughout the day to keep me posted about my dog’s day. She is excellent with animals and has a kind nature that dogs can sense. My dog was comfortable and she even got her to eat! Which is something my dog does not do when she’s away from home. Thank you Honey for opening your home to our Roxy.”

“Gio, our 4 month old puppy, had a great day with Ryan! Such a wonderful 1st experience being in this environment away from home. We will be back! Thank you Ryan! We appreciated you caring for Gio so well today.”

“I can't recommend Sandy enough. We were in a bind needing a last-minute sitter, and she was incredibly responsive and flexible. She made the logistics simple. My fiancé had no trouble at all coordinating drop-off and pick-up. While we were away, she sent photo updates that showed our dog relaxed and happy. When we picked him up, he was clearly well-cared for and in great spirits. Sandy truly saved the day. Thank you!”

About: I work from home, so your dog is never alone for long. My fenced yard means safe outdoor play every day, and regular photo updates mean you'll actually be able to relax on your trip. I have a special needs dog of my own, so I have a particular soft spot for dogs that need a little extra care, but I'm equally comfortable with puppies, seniors, anxious dogs, and medication administration. I know exactly how much trust you're placing in me, and I don't take that lightly. Your dog gets a real home, real attention, and a lot of love. I work from home full time, which means your dog has company throughout the day rather than waiting for someone to come home. Walks, yard time, and cuddles fit naturally into my routine, I'm not squeezing pet care around a commute or office hours. Gladly have your pet a part of my day. My home is fully fenced, so outdoor time is always safe and supervised. Inside, dogs are welcome wherever they're most comfortable.. on the sofa, in the bedroom, wherever helps them settle in. I follow each owner's instructions closely, including crating if that's part of their dog's routine. I'll always ask about your dog's habits, triggers, and preferences before your stay so there are no surprises for either of us.

About: I grew up with dogs, love taking care of them and love to walk for hours! I am offering this service until I get a dog of my own :) I work from home with flexibility in my schedule. I love to get out for breaks during the day and live close to a dog park. I have a gated outdoor space and live in a dog friendly neighborhood. I also cover up my furniture so that the dogs can go on the couch.
“Lauren was so great to work with...she responded to the daycare request promptly and immediately jumped into asking lots of questions around Remys care. I knew he'd be in good hands. Thank you for the care Lauren...”

“River had a wonderful stay with Jorrit and his family. They provided daily updates and pictures. We’ll definitely use him again next time we are headed out of town. Thank you!!”

“Rebecca is wonderful! She took great care of JJ (my pup) and made me comfortable and happy to have a happy place for him to stay. I have a 110-120 lb pup that I have not left with anyone other than family and close friend since his sister passed away, and Rebecca made both me and JJ feel comfortable right away. She asked great questions, let JJ explore his new surroundings, had wonderful, calm energy, was thoughtful about helping JJ have a routine similar to his usual, and sent lots of pictures and notes during the day so I could see how he was doing. Her place is set up well for a dog, with a fenced yard and ability to be inside and outside. I highly recommend Rebecca, and hope JJ can stay with her again next time I need a sitter.”

“Another Great experience with Haven. Easy pick up and drop off, she updated me throughout the day and sent photos from their adventures! My pup was exhausted which only makes the Rest of my day easier as well. I wholeheartedly recommend her as a caretaker for your doggo and loom forward to scheduling again!”

“Natalie was amazing! It was my first time using rover and was an amazing experience. It was a last minute request and she responded very fast and kept me updated. I would def ask her again in the future.”

“Lindsey was great as she updated me with messages and photos of my dog. Took him on a nice dog with her dog and it was very reassuring knowing how he was doing with update photos!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover based in Santa Barbara with experience caring for small and medium-sized dogs of all ages and personalities. I have a mini Australian Shepherd, so I’m very familiar with high-energy breeds and the exercise, structure, and attention they need to thrive. I understand that every dog has unique needs, and I always adjust my approach to help them feel comfortable, safe, and happy. I love spending time outdoors and enjoy taking dogs on long walks, hikes, and visits to the dog beach (with owner approval). My goal is to make your dog feel loved and well cared for while you’re away. I’ll treat them like one of my own and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind. For the next two weeks, I’m available for walks and drop-in visits in the mornings before 11 AM and evenings after 5 PM. Beginning in July, I’ll have open availability and a flexible schedule. I always prioritize a pet’s safety, comfort, and routine. In a client’s home, I follow their instructions closely regarding feeding schedules, walks, medications, potty breaks, and any house rules. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection while maintaining the routines they’re familiar with.

Caring for pets at every stage of life has made me patient, intuitive, & attuned to the subtle needs of seniors, sensitive animals, & high energy pets who need movement & engagement. I love to move & to be out doors, especially with a canine sweetheart. I’m active & playful, so walks & outdoor time are always a joy, but I’m equally comfortable offering quiet companionship to shy, elderly, or anxious pets. I keep homes tidy, houseplants thriving, & communication clear & consistent while you’re away. Whether your family includes small sweethearts or large loves, I provide dependable care, gentle presence, and genuine love. My goal is simple: your pets feel safe, understood, & at home. I’d be honored to care for your animal family. 🐾💛 I work, primarily from home, & have much flexibility. I do a lot of writing. Movement outdoors & time away from the screen or project, gives me time to process, think, & refine my creativity, even when my attention is on the trail, my animal companion, or the ball that must be thrown. Movement is essential for me, so bringing a dog along, or stopping to take one for a walk, brings value to my day in more ways than it would appear. I have a few appointments during the week. None are longer than 2 hours. I attentive to the animals needs & can provide a safe environment for them to thrive. Whether it’s grooming, play, or loving attention that’s needed, I am there for them. I understand the importance of structure, safety gates, & schedules, especially whenever medication is involved.
About: I watch Chomsky every day and he’s my boy. I cared for Bella, a Border Collie during grad school for three years. Loved her too. I am an artist doing a self-guided residency in Santa Barbara. I care for Chomsky, a cute Shi Tzu mix. He is the most chill. I can watch your doggie or kitty while working from home. We will also go for walks and play/ throw ball if they want to.

“It was my first time using Rover and I can’t rave move about Ttacy’s Care of Matcha. She was Accomodating in every way during our recent trip to Santa Barbara. I would pick Matcha up in the morning to enjoy a day of touring, then return her to Tracy’s where she enjoyed walks, relaxing and meeting Tracy’s friends. Tracy will be Matcha’s sitter when I visit Santa Barbara again.”

“Haven was wonderful with Nala! She kept her active by taking her to the park and beach! She also sent adorable pictures of her throughout the day. I would highly recommend her as a sitter!”
