About: I’ve grown up around dogs, young and old, and think the absolute world of these beautiful animals. I recently parted ways with my soul dog when he passed in March and have missed him every moment since. Despite this loss, I have not lost my love for dogs. Caring for your baby would be an absolute privilege and joy for me, and I promise to love and look out for them as my own. I work in home health healthcare but am typically available every morning before 10am and every afternoon after 4pm. My days can be flexible where I can check in periodically as well— I am happy to coordinate as needed. I’m also off every Wednesday and am available over overnight stays. I welcome dogs into the home as well and am always willing to take them out to the beach, on trails, and any adventures in general!

I have many pets and experience with the following; medicine administration, injecting insulin, monitoring the cats’ health and appetite, cleaning, and making sure each and every cat got the adequate attention they needed. In addition to this I have also pet sat for dogs and cats for years. Most of customers were regulars and I got to get to know each animal very well. I work part time in the evenings. You can find me during the day on the trail already so I’d love to have your fur babies accompany me! I’m privy to the needs of older or super energetic pups and can confidently say that when they are leashed up with me we will have a safe and great time.
About: I’ve taken care of both big and small dogs since I was around 8… feeding, walking, bathing, picking up poop… you name it. I know each person has particular methods and/or routines and I am more then happy to accommodate. I recently graduated from UCSB and am applying to graduate school now! I work in the evenings mostly so I’m very available for morning walks or house sitting if necessary :) In my home I make sure my pets are well loved and cared for as well as engaged with. Wether it’s outdoor dogs, indoor dogs with house rules, a walking schedule or feeding routine I’m here for it :) I’m not afraid to ask questions if I’m unsure of something either.

About: My entire life I have been surrounded by the best furry family. We had well trained, obedient and incredibly kind dogs growing up. I wished upon a star at 10 years old and voila, I got my first golden retriever puppy as a present a few weeks later. Duke Skywalker was my first big responsibility, from working on potty training to letting him off leash on hikes and on the beach. He trusted me and I trusted him. During the pandemic, he was getting older and I did what I could to help him feel comfortable and loved. Even when he wasn’t able to walk, I’d place him in the back of the car and just sit with him watching the waves cuddled up with blankets. Must have patience with the older pups, and I loved every minute. I have trained my family’s adopted pups and they caught on fast. My roommate has a cat who I help care and train for when she is out of town for work, who knew training a cat actually works. Persistence, love and patience is key! I’m currently in between jobs, figuring out if I want a career switch. I have been wanting to surround myself with pets and helping anyone who needs it. I understand not having as much time as one would like, therefore happy to lend a hand in helping walk, feed, sit, even cuddle if your pet allows. I have a big space in my home and love to go outside and enjoy the fresh air, especially if it’s along the beach on a sunny day. In a client’s home, I would play with my new furry friend in the yard if they have or research nearby safe dog parks, or parks to walk with them to. And if the dogs or cats allow, always up for cuddles when sitting on the couch ‘Netflix & chilling’!
About: I watch Chomsky every day and he’s my boy. I cared for Bella, a Border Collie during grad school for three years. Loved her too. I am an artist doing a self-guided residency in Santa Barbara. I care for Chomsky, a cute Shi Tzu mix. He is the most chill. I can watch your doggie or kitty while working from home. We will also go for walks and play/ throw ball if they want to.

“I have a Great Pyrenees puppy, newly rescued off the L.A. streets a couple of weeks ago, with no I.D. or training at all. She is big and strong and I am not, so I needed the right dog-walker for the 50-pound dog, and picked Kayla K. because she raised her own 100-lb. Labrador from his puppyhood. I cannot praise Kayla enough! We started with a dog dancing around, getting tangled underfoot, and grabbing the leash like a toy. That behavior is nearly all gone now. Kayla is prompt, warm, friendly, outgoing, brought the right collar/leash combo. (now I've bought my own). My puppy gets excited when she hears Kayla's car in the driveway, and greets her joyously, and comes home nicely tired out and smiling. I took my dog yesterday to a professional dog trainer to get some help with crating and commands (like down and come), and he, a professional, was extremely impressed with my dog's calm heeling abilities that she had acquired, thanks to Kayla.”

I’ll treat your pup like I treat my own, and with any special care precautions. I have loved caring / training my own dogs and grew up taking care of my family dogs as well. About: I’ve grown up around dogs, young and old, and think the absolute world of these beautiful animals. I recently parted ways with my soul dog when he passed in March and have missed him every moment since. Despite this loss, I have not lost my love for dogs. Caring for your baby would be an absolute privilege and joy for me, and I promise to love and look out for them as my own. I work in home health healthcare but am typically available every morning before 10am and every afternoon after 4pm. My days can be flexible where I can check in periodically as well— I am happy to coordinate as needed. I’m also off every Wednesday and am available over overnight stays. I welcome dogs into the home as well and am always willing to take them out to the beach, on trails, and any adventures in general!

“Courtney was fabulous with my less than 1lb kitten! This is my first kitten this young, and I was terrified to leave her with anyone. She was abandoned before her eyes were open so I’ve been her mom, bottle feeding her every 2hrs and doing everything a kitten that small needs to survive When a long planned family event came up I had to find someone I would trust to care for my little girl. I honestly didn’t think it would be possible, but the second I met Courtney, I knew she would take as good of care of my baby as I would, and I was right! This was HUGELY terrifying for me, the thought of leaving my very tiny, very vulnerable kitten with a stranger, but after speaking with Courtney on the phone I felt like I’d found someone I could trust with my kitty. I highly recommend Courtney to care for your kitten and or cat. Her home is very kitty friendly and she was amazing with my kitten. I will absolutely be contacting her next time I need my kitten to be cared for.”
