There has never been a time in my life when I didn't have pets in my home. Beginning as a child in the early 1970's living in Lancaster, California my father worked the night shift in the middle of the desert at Lockheed Martin. It seems like he was always rescuing dogs he would find along the empty roads out in the middle of nowhere. There were times I would wake up in the morning being licked in the face by a newly rescued dog. Those were great years that I will never forget. Over the years I have had dogs, cats, rats, snakes, geckos, toads, tarantulas, and tons of fish. I currently have 2 rescue dogs that came from the Camarillo Animal Shelter. I have had Rosie for nearly 9 years and Rocky for nearly 6 years. Both of my dogs had behavior issues early on. With a lot of time, patience and training they have both become fantastic, well-behaved, loving dogs. I have experience giving dogs both oral and injected medicines. Soon after adopting Rosie it was discovered that she would need surgery on her left shoulder. Following surgery there were very strict guidelines that needed to be followed in order to guarantee a full recovery and they were adhered to and now she is healthy as can be. All of my experiences caring and training my own dogs can benefit your dog as well. Lots of treats and cuddles will always be involved. I recently rescued a tortoise kitten from Cats Cradle named Bonnie. She is now 3 years old and she is very sweet. I am a stay at home wife and mother to a 15 year old dog loving daughter and I have a son that just graduated college. My availability is wide open. I am available seven days a week to care for your pet. I am a reliable, mature, caring, and patient person. I own my home and have a small fenced in yard. I have 2 dogs and one cat that are mild mannered and well behaved. We also have fish, a leopard gecko named Chip, a ball python named Duncan, and a tarantula named Blair. I am a short walk away from the Ventura Community Park on the corner of Kimball and Telephone Roads in Ventura. My dogs are always walked at least 3 times a day. I always thought that if my dogs are on the chubby side I need to exercise more. We live in a smoke free home. I know how nerve racking it can be to trust someone with your family pets so lots of pictures will be sent your way. Your pets will be safe and happy with me.
