For in-house visits: I bring to your home only items you’ve approved: you must let me know if your pet has any food allergies or tendencies to eat certain toys. I can walk your dog, offer training sessions, and give food enrichment like puzzle feeders and lick mats for dogs and cats by your request. I can send in pictures and video. My experience with a variety of cats and dogs has taught me how to read body language and meet an animal where it’s at. For dog walking, I like to bring treats to build and maintain your dog’s obedience on leash. If this is something that aligns with your goals for your dog, I can use your treats or my own (in which case you must inform me of any allergies or intolerances). I strive for a 15 foot distance between the dog I’m walking and any other animals.
Information Lilah C. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know of any potentially relevant medical information about your pet, including allergies or food intolerances. If your dog is reactive or has behavioral concerns, I appreciate a heads up, though this will likely not prevent me from wanting to work with your dog.
A typical day
I love to give your pets physical and mental enrichment including training sessions, puzzle feeders, and Nosework. You may learn that your dog is a Nosework, agility, or obedience champ in the making! Or, if your pet is more interested in napping on the couch, I’m happy with that too.

Pet care experience
My 400+ hours of experience training shelter dogs make me the perfect caretaker for any breed of dog. Every interaction we have with our dogs teaches them something and I’m dedicated to teaching them the skills they need to be successful: impulse control, leash manners, and confidence. I tailor my sessions to the dog in front of me: their mood, personality, breed, health, and confidence. Seniors, reactive dogs, bullies, giant breeds, pullers, fearful dogs, jumpy, mouthy, and more all okay — I’ll walk anything!

Reviews

Lilah was incredibly reliable and communicative and was successfully able to medicate both of my shy kitties. I will hire her again and recommend her to all my friends! I loved getting photos of my babies and was able to enjoy my time away knowing they were in excellent hands.

Lilah has been the most communicative reliable kind and caring walker and companion for Wally and are kitties while we are away! I cannot say enough kind things about how helpful and reliable she has been! We are so appreciative.
We were blessed to have Lilah watch our three cats while we were away on a trip. I was very impressed by the way they took the time to get to know our furry family members and sent us pictures of them. Even our shy little cat warmed up to Lilah which really says a lot about their personality. I would definitely recommend Lilah to others and will use them again if we go on another trip
Lilah is one of the most reliable and genuine dog people I know. We volunteer together at the shelter, and she regularly works with every type of dog — from the easygoing, happy-go-lucky pups to the more challenging ones, especially shepherds. She’s calm, patient, and truly understands how to handle different personalities and behaviors. What really sets her apart is how much she cares. She treats every dog like they’re her own, and you can see how seriously she takes their wellbeing. She shows up, she puts in the effort, and she never cuts corners. I’ve personally recommended her to others before because I trust her completely. If you’re looking for someone responsible, experienced, and genuinely loving, Lilah would be an amazing pet sitter on Rover.
