About: I started dog sitting in highschool for friends and families. I am now the go to sitter for all of my family pets (caring for 5 dogs at the same time). I am a registered nurse turned temporary stay at home mom! I am a very nurturing person and I would love to give your pet a kind a loving home while you are away. I currently work 100% remote Monday-Friday. I care for my two toddlers and my own 7 year old miniature poodle (a kind a gentle dog). I drop my kiddos off locally to a part time preschool on Mondays and Wednesdays and I drop them off to childcare alternating Tuesday or Thursday. I have a fenced yard that I keep clean and mowed. I often work from my backyard in the afternoons so that kids and my dog can play supervised outside.

About: I have over a decade of sitting and owning dogs. I try my hardest to always make them feel loved and safe. I am very passionate about pups🫶🏽 I am currently a full time student but I am on winter break currently. So I am spending a lot of time hanging out with my pup and going on long walks daily. Dogs in my home will make themselves at home. I have one dog and she is very sweet and won’t mind sharing the couch or backyard.

Adelle and Kyle are wonderful! I really appreciate all the updates, photos, and asking questions to make sure that my Sammy got the care she needed and felt comfortable in their home. They were very attentive and loving, and their pup, Sandy, was a great new friend for my Sammy to hang with. Thank you so much, Adelle and Kyle! Looking forward to connecting with you again in the future :)

Eileen was fantastic! I needed a last minute sitter during a trip to Ojai and she responded immediately to my late night request for next day dog boarding. Eileen was flexible and accommodating to make herself available at the time I needed to drop off Panda. My dog had a great day with the other dogs Eileen watches and came home a contented pup.

Additionally, their well-behaved dogs provided my dog, Oso, with a full day of fun. They also sent frequent pictures and videos to keep me updated. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for responsible, caring, and professional dog sitters.

About: About our home & pack Hi, we’re Elise and Brad :) … dogs are our kids, and we keep things small so every pup gets real attention. We’re at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in Ventura on an ~8,500 sq ft lot with a fully fenced yard—great for zoomies, fetch, and potty breaks. Brad and I own the house and rent bedrooms to long-term roommates — all of whom are working professionals in their thirties who love dogs. Two of us work from home and so our adult household means someone responsible is home 24/7, so pups are pretty much never left home alone. Our resident doodles are friendly, well-mannered playmates: • Joey (1.5yo 15 lb cockapoo): shy, sweet, loves chase games. He’s my soul dog. • Mia (1yo 39 lb goldendoodle): gentle, social, and very respectful of smaller dogs. She’s got sweet, protective mama energy. Safety & setup • Fully-fenced yard with easy, frequent potty access (sliding door open when we’re home). • We do have a pool, but it’s off-limits unless supervised. A retractable fence blocks access when needed, and there’s a surface alarm as a backup. • Dogs can be separated for meals or decompression anytime; we have plenty of space. Experience, seniors & care style Between Brad and I, we have 32 years of combined dog-owning experience (not counting caring for family pets as kids)… we’re lifelong poodle/doodle people. Brad handles our pups’ grooming at home (baths, trims, nails, ears), so just know we are big dog-people and super attentive. We’re very familiar with caring for dogs of all ages, including seniors who may need assistance. We also have plenty of experience with disabilities; one of our poodles became a tripod due to cancer… and we cherished him even more when that happened. A typical day Morning potty and light play in the fenced yard, breakfast per your schedule. Seniors get shorter, sniffy walks and extra nap time; playful guests get more fetch and yard time. With permission, we add a safe neighborhood walk and—occasionally— with your permission — an early-evening beach outing at C Street. Dinner, wind-down, and cozy sleep in our bedroom with us. Dogs are allowed on our furniture if that’s your style also. You’ll get daily photo updates so you’re never guessing. Good fit & requirements Friendly, house-trained dogs with no aggression history. Small–medium pups are our sweet spot; larger gentle dogs considered case-by-case. Seniors are absolutely welcome. Please have rabies vaccine and flea/tick prevention up to date, and bring food, leash/harness, meds, and a familiar bed/blanket. Logistics & options We’re flexible on pickup/drop-off—share your window. Meet & greets welcome. Optional extras upon request: extra neighborhood walk, beach trip to C street, light bath/brush, simple swim lessons (accompanied swim to find the steps and get out) I work from home so am around for any pet care needs throughout the day. Potty in the yard is available all day and I’m always keeping a watchful eye. :) Evening walks around our super-safe neighborhood after work, plus occasional trips to run on the beach (with your permission, of course). Dogs are our kids and we treat them as the treasures that they are. Our yard is fully-fenced in and front door/gate is always closed. We live at the end of a safe cul de sac on the east end of town where the sun usually shines. Pool is off-limits unless we are right there — it’s cordoned off with a retractable fence as needed plus a surface alarm (Bcone) as a backup. We also offer optional "find the steps" swim lessons, if that's of interest. :)

Leaving our little Cowboy (9 months old) with Sarah felt so easy and comfortable. We had a successful meet and greet with her and her dogs, then made our booking for day care that same week without thinking twice. I really appreciate her timeliness with communication, as well as the fact that she sends photos and updates. She also set up a sweet little gated area for Cowboy in her office—which I’m sure made him feel cozy and safe while she worked—and made it easy for her to keep an eye on him while he chewed on toys and had his snacks. They have a lovely home and backyard. Drop off and pick up were easy, and Cowboy seemed content and ready for a nap on his way home. We highly recommend Sarah!

About: I’ve raised dogs my entire life—all breeds, shapes, and sizes. For the past 30 years, bully breeds have been my heart. I’ve loved puppies into adulthood and cared for seniors with compassion. Dogs have taught me patience, loyalty, and unconditional love. I treat every dog with kindness, respect, and devotion. I work from home with full flexibility. Since I’m absolutely in love with dogs, I decided to pursue something that fills my soul—caring for them. A mature, stable, creative man embracing a second career built on love. I’m an empathetic man with a lifetime of understanding dog behavior, especially over the past 30 years with bully breeds. No two dogs are alike—each requires attentiveness and fluency in their unique “dog language.” I have a loving, energetic Staffy at home who’s all heart, and since I work from home, all interactions are always safely monitored.

About: We're an animal-loving family, offering calm, reliable care for dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. I was mom to a Belgian Malinois her whole life and grew up with cats. While we can't have pets of our own right now, caring for others' furry friends is our happy compromise. My schedule is flexible. I work from home full time, 5 days a week and can therefore provide regular potty breaks, stimulation, and cuddles as needed. There is also a dog park and facilities to wash dogs 500 feet from my home. Whether you have high-energy dogs that need regular exercise and stimulation, or low-key cats or dogs that just want naps and cuddles, I adjust to meet the needs of your furry friends. If you're comfortable, I can take your doggy on short, local hikes or adventures. Or ride around town as my errand companion. If you have more low-key dogs or cats that just want a quiet, calm place to relax and receive snuggles, my home is just the place for peaceful decompression.

Sara saved our trip! We were camping in the area and planned a day out at the Channel Islands NP (not dog-friendly). Our original doggy sitter canceled on us two days before and we scrambled to find someone last minute. It was a blessing in disguise. Sara is the absolute sweetest! Communication was excellent. She updated us throughout the day with photos and kept our girl busy with playtime, a walk, and a hike. She was able to administer medication too. I can’t say enough good things! Thank you, Sara!

About: There has never been a time in my life where I didn’t have a dog :) dogs have always been more than just pets, they are a member of the family. From an early ago my parents only allowed us to get pets if we promised to take care of them ourselves so I have helped raise and train many kinds of animals :) I now live with my husband and have one dog of our own. She is obsessed with other dogs and absolutely loves to play. This dynamic creates a beautiful environment for your pet whether staying with us, going on walks, or check-ins. I have a very open schedule with a lot of flexibility. I love spending time going on walks, taking them to the dog park or beach, and enjoying their company. Since we already have a dog our home is already very dog friendly:) we have a backyard where they can play, lots of trials and dog parks around, and a friendly community we live in.
