This was the first time I left my fur baby for an extended period of time (10 days). Cooper and Nora were so great throughout Teddy's stay with their family. They sent me pictures almost daily of his daily activities, but seeing him sleeping with their little kids at night was adorable. They definitely treated him with love and made him feel like part of their family! I'm so grateful and thankful to Cooper and Nora and would highly recommend them to all. About: I've cared for dogs and cats most of my life since age 10, including a bonded pair of terriers I adopted and loved until they unfortunately passed in 2022. Since then I've done dog/cat-sitting, dog walking, and dog boarding for a variety of friends and clients, and have always had a wonderful experience. I really appreciate the opportunity to get to know individual pet's personalities and quirks, spend quality time with them, and figure out the sweet spot for pets and scritches. I'm currently going back to school and many of my classes are asynchronous so my schedule is generally pretty flexible and will work around your pet. As a result I am able to spend a lot of quality time with them and meet their unique, individual needs. Also if they want they can help me study to become a therapist! I have a small apartment on a beautiful property near downtown Ojai. I can unfortunately only board small dogs though. About: Growing up my mother would call me Dr Doolittle because animals are naturally attracted to me. I grew up on a ranch in the mountains of Santa Barbara and still have property there and take my dog Dory on hikes and beach walks. I love animals and am happiest when I’m surrounded by them always have. I work mainly from home so I have plenty of time to care for your dog. I will do my best to accommodate your schedule which I know can be last minute. Happy to help out. About: I love all animals. Big or small, anxious or confident. I have dog sat for 6 years and have had cats of my own my whole life. I currently do not have any of my own pets, so I am excited to spend time with animals keeping your pets company. I am an active person who runs, walks and hikes so I will give your animal the exercise they need. I also have watched elderly dogs with specific medication needs, so can cater to the needs of older animals. I am empathetic and a caretaker, so will treat your animal and home kindly and with care. It will also be a treat for me to spend time with your lovely animals and get out for some exercise with them. I WFH so I have a great routine for pet care. I also love to walk and exercise outside. About: I’ve had dogs all my life. I learned responsibility by having dogs all my life. The attachment and care I have for animals is tremendous. My heart is full because of them and it breaks when they’re hurting or sad. I take a lot of pride in the way I care for my own animals. I always put their needs first. I even took a remote job so I can spend more time with them. When my dog got sick I was constantly monitoring, medication handling, and I never put her health to the side. I act quickly. I also am very careful with who the dogs I take care of come in contact with. I can read dogs body language and will not force them to be in a situation they don’t like. Some dogs are friendly and some like their space. It is important for me to create space. It doesn’t matter if a dog is small and won’t hurt a fly, they can agitate a dog that can hurt them. I have even saved a yorkie from being attacked by a dog. This wasn’t under my care but I knew what to do and stepped in. I currently work remote. This means I can take out the pups for play and for a walk. I live right down the street from a park. And prioritize taking the pups out 2-3 times a day. Making sure they’re out for more than an hour. I have a small back yard and 3 friendly dogs. One old Shih Tzu, a heeler, and a yorkie. They love to play but love to protect their home so they will always be loud when someone is at the door.. I always treat the pups the same. I know how worried I am leaving my heeler behind so I know to take good care of new pups because I know they’re missing their parents too! As for someone else’s home. I do the same! Obviously respect the home but work in a schedule to accommodate what I need to get done but also create play, walk, or enrichment play.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life. I learned responsibility by having dogs all my life. The attachment and care I have for animals is tremendous. My heart is full because of them and it breaks when they’re hurting or sad. I take a lot of pride in the way I care for my own animals. I always put their needs first. I even took a remote job so I can spend more time with them. When my dog got sick I was constantly monitoring, medication handling, and I never put her health to the side. I act quickly. I also am very careful with who the dogs I take care of come in contact with. I can read dogs body language and will not force them to be in a situation they don’t like. Some dogs are friendly and some like their space. It is important for me to create space. It doesn’t matter if a dog is small and won’t hurt a fly, they can agitate a dog that can hurt them. I have even saved a yorkie from being attacked by a dog. This wasn’t under my care but I knew what to do and stepped in. I currently work remote. This means I can take out the pups for play and for a walk. I live right down the street from a park. And prioritize taking the pups out 2-3 times a day. Making sure they’re out for more than an hour. I have a small back yard and 3 friendly dogs. One old Shih Tzu, a heeler, and a yorkie. They love to play but love to protect their home so they will always be loud when someone is at the door.. I always treat the pups the same. I know how worried I am leaving my heeler behind so I know to take good care of new pups because I know they’re missing their parents too! As for someone else’s home. I do the same! Obviously respect the home but work in a schedule to accommodate what I need to get done but also create play, walk, or enrichment play.
