About: Hi! I’m Kayla, a lifelong dog lover and animal person. I raised a 15-year-old Havanese from puppyhood through her senior years, and now share my life with Willow, my playful and social one-year-old cattle dog mix who absolutely loves having dog friends around. We live on a peaceful mountain property near Carpinteria with lots of outdoor space to explore. Our days are full but relaxed — usually a mix of time at home while I work on graduate school coursework, walks around the property, afternoon rest time, and beach outings or little adventures into town. I love matching each dog’s energy level — whether that means active hikes and play sessions or a slower-paced day with cozy naps and calm companionship. I’m currently in graduate school studying acupuncture, so I’m home most of the day and able to provide consistent supervision, attention, and care. I also love sending photo and video updates so you can see your pup enjoying their stay. I have experience with training and behavior work, including helping raise a previously reactive rescue dog. While I have that background, I’m currently focused on hosting dogs who are comfortable social playmates for Willow, so I’m not taking reactive dogs at this time. Our home also includes chickens (securely enclosed), and I’m happy to accommodate pickups or coordinate logistics to make things easy. As a graduate acupuncture student, I spend most of my days at home studying, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and structured care. I’m able to accommodate active dogs who love adventure as well as pups who prefer a slower, cozy pace. Because I’m home frequently, dogs are rarely left alone and get lots of attention, enrichment, and outdoor time throughout the day. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. My dog Willow is a friendly, playful cattle dog mix who enjoys respectful dog companions. Dogs are supervised during interactions and introductions are done thoughtfully to ensure everyone feels comfortable. I’m experienced with training and behavior awareness, comfortable administering basic care, and attentive to each dog’s individual needs and boundaries. Our chickens are securely enclosed. I provide regular photo/video updates and maintain clear communication so you always feel confident while your pet is in my care.

About: Lifetime of love and experience taking care of animals. From guinea pigs, birds and large tortoises to 100 lb dogs and many animals in between. I will provide a comfortable and safe family home, large fenced yard, two 30 minute walks/day, and infinite love. Don’t mind administering oral meds if needed. I work full time from home all days of the week/end and have a flexible schedule. Happy to provide morning and afternoon walks in a family friendly neighborhood. About: Hello There! My little family and myself are pet lovers! 🥰 We have two dogs, two cats and a bearded dragon. Our home has always been a bit of a revolving door for furry friends. I have been dog walking and pet sitting locally for the past 17yrs and have plenty of references. I am out and about most mornings doing dog walks, typically 9/930-12ish and available again most afternoon or evenings depending on what you need. I work for an afterschool program during the school year so my schedule tends to open up a bit more during the summer. We have a high, fully fenced in back yard w plenty of shade. I tend to take boarded pups w me on my walks if the temperament works. We live in a very quiet little corner in Carpinteria surrounded by parks and bike trails.

About: I love dogs and feel that dogs are a part of our family. I have a small mixed breed (rescue) dog of my own. I am home most weekdays and some weekends. I have extensive experience with dogs of all types and ages. Having grown up with and owned my own dogs I have used my experience to volunteer with a local rescue, saving lives one pup at a time. In the last year I have been the "foster mom" to 5 rescue Dogs (so far!) Typically they are with me 4-6 weeks while we work to find them their forever home. About: I'm a lifelong animal owner and lover - large breeds and small or with fur, scales, hooves, or feathers. My live-in partner is a work from home professional and certified dog trainer and I'm the Hospital Manager of a local veterinary hospital. Together, we offer a uniquely loving, experienced, and structured environment for pets of any size or special needs. Pets in our care are spoiled with snuggles and lots of love, treats (when permitted by their owners) and rarely spend time out of our sight. Long walks and playtime with our cattle dog and chihuahua wear out most dogs in no time. Unless specifically requested by their owners, dogs in our care are never crated for extended periods or locked inside without access to a fenced patio. Schedule: I offer an open, flexible schedule for clients with pets of all kinds. My pups and I begin each day with a walk to the beach, then home for a quick bath, brush, and nap before more playtime in the afternoon. Having someone that works from home allows all the time in the world for our pups and our visiting guests to be pampered, offering customized care for their unique needs. I treat drop-in visits like I would my own home, bringing in packages and ensuring everyone is happy and healthy before departing. I currently do not have any of my own pets, so I am excited to spend time with animals keeping your pets company. I am an active person who runs, walks and hikes so I will give your animal the exercise they need. I also have watched elderly dogs with specific medication needs, so can cater to the needs of older animals. I am empathetic and a caretaker, so will treat your animal and home kindly and with care. It will also be a treat for me to spend time with your lovely animals and get out for some exercise with them. I WFH so I have a great routine for pet care. I also love to walk and exercise outside. Your pet will get great exercise and be happy. I have a small fenced yard that I let pets run around in while I’m working and occupied. I let pets on my furniture and in my bed.
