About: I’ve owned and cared for pets over the course of my entire life. Dogs are my love and bring such joy into my world. I have always had a natural born connection that cannot really be explained. It’s a magnetism and I’m drawn to them as much as they are to me :). I have a deep understanding and knowledge of a variety of health issues that dogs commonly have including bone, joint, heart, GI issues and dietary restrictions. I’ve experienced quite a bit over the course of my life personally caring for dogs with these issues including blindness & deafness, injuries. I’m mature enough and a mom myself to confidently say that your family would be treated as my own would. I have also cared for and owned a variety of birds, fish, reptiles, bunnies, guinea pigs, chinchilla and then some! ;). Your animals would be loved as my own! Happy to do overnight care on somewhat short notice as well. Live in the Mission canyon area and have a gated yard with space for sun bathing and potty breaks/lizard chasing ;). Reliable car, DL, Insurance etc. - open to running errands, helping around the house (can discuss rate). My schedule is flexible and I’m available for boarding as well overnight with a little notice ahead of time. No problem with house sitting I have a gated yard and no pets. Nice neighborhood with friendly neighbors with dogs that enjoy each other. Local trails close by and the Riviera Theater close and other nice doggy friendly locations!

About: Growing up my mother would call me Dr Doolittle because animals are naturally attracted to me. I grew up on a ranch in the mountains of Santa Barbara and still have property there and take my dog Dory on hikes and beach walks. About: I’ve grown up around dogs, young and old, and think the absolute world of these beautiful animals. I recently parted ways with my soul dog when he passed in March and have missed him every moment since. Despite this loss, I have not lost my love for dogs. Caring for your baby would be an absolute privilege and joy for me, and I promise to love and look out for them as my own. I work in home health healthcare but am typically available every morning before 10am and every afternoon after 4pm. My days can be flexible where I can check in periodically as well— I am happy to coordinate as needed. I’m also off every Wednesday and am available over overnight stays. I would go to the family home for 4 hours twice a day and also took car of a paralyzed woman while in the family home. We were at a dinner reception the first night, the wedding the second, and both times she told us not to worry if we were later than expected--"just have a good time, and so will we". True to word. Proof is that our dog which is a bit shy and skittish, ran to Katherine the second night. The pictures she sent of them all cuddling together really helped us have a great time. I have been dog walking and pet sitting locally for the past 17yrs and have plenty of references. I am out and about most mornings doing dog walks, typically 9/930-12ish and available again most afternoon or evenings depending on what you need. I work for an afterschool program during the school year so my schedule tends to open up a bit more during the summer. We have a high, fully fenced in back yard w plenty of shade. About: I have owned two large dogs before a German Shepard, and a lab Shepard mix . I also understand that some dogs are energetic and need more exercise so I am patient with those doggos too! I am also attentive to their health and body language and I will communicate with you whether I notice anything concerning. I work full time from 8-5pm Mon-Friday. I am available early mornings before 7am or after 5pm on the weekdays and any time on the weekends. I cannot board dogs or cats however I am more than happy to watch them in their home! I will also be attentive to specific care instructions for your pets.

I primarily work Monday-Wednesday 11am-8pm. I’m much more available in the evenings and weekends to take care of beloved pets. Pet walks would be most accessible on Thursdays-Sundays. I do not offer pet care in my home, I don’t have pets because I live in a very tiny apartment and know that’s not conducive for their wellbeing. In my client’s home, I show the utmost respect and care for their items, animal care needs and I triple check that I leave everything clean and locked.

My chihuahua will come with me on home visits otherwise I will require 1 hour break to go home to feed/walk my furbaby. I live by Bacara, I have the backyard that leads to Ellwood preserve. I do not use dog food to feed due to the high sodium, I cook meals using protein, veggies and Japanese potato. I'm happy to walk/care for family pets starting at 6am and latest walk at 6pm unless you are requesting overnight. Bed time is by 9pm or earlier. I have trim pets hair and given baths, this is complimentary for overnight stays even for 1 day. I have the materials and only cut hair by hand. I will keep majority of the hair 🙂 so you will not return surprised, your furbaby will look rejuvenated and polished 💖 I treat all furbaby as my own and cook extra portion for yours. I will walk the dogs together, 3 max at a time including my chihuahua. My chihuahua is allowed everywhere in my home so your furbaby is allowed to go anywhere except for kitchen when I'm cooking. Walks happen every 4 hours unless we are sleeping. I do not crate any furbaby so will not take you if this is something you request, I believe family pets should be included so will be in couch or bed. If they are in the floor every room has a fluffy bed. I do not have cat climbing build, only fuzzy beds! 🐾

About: I’ve grown up around dogs, young and old, and think the absolute world of these beautiful animals. I recently parted ways with my soul dog when he passed in March and have missed him every moment since. Despite this loss, I have not lost my love for dogs.
