“Deandra did a great job with our doggo. Her dog was great with ours and she was intentional with how they greeted one another. Our dog came back home TIRED! Would def recommend and will for sure use again in the future.”

“Marc took excellent care of our dog. We had a last minute cancellation with a different dog sitter but Marc came to our rescue. His communication was great and overall we are happy customers. 2 paws up!”

“Sandy and her husband were so sweet with our dog who had an injury right before our vacation. Sandy could tell we didn’t want to leave her, and provided lots of reassurance that our dog would be in good hands. Because of the injury she had a lot of extra meds, which Sandy administered easily! Thank you, Sandy and Tony for loving on Sadey! She even got a beach day!”

“Lynn and Marty were absolutely spectacular! From the moment I made contact with them, to the meet and greet, and the five days that Abby spent with them, I could tell that she was not just well taken care of, but absolutely treasured. We received lots of photos and messages! I wanted to book with them again, but unfortunately, they were booked during the time we needed them. But we will keep them as our number one go to in the future. Thank you again Lynne and Marty.”

About: Growing up my mother would call me Dr Doolittle because animals are naturally attracted to me. I grew up on a ranch in the mountains of Santa Barbara and still have property there and take my dog Dory on hikes and beach walks. I love animals and am happiest when I’m surrounded by them always have. I work mainly from home so I have plenty of time to care for your dog. I will do my best to accommodate your schedule which I know can be last minute. Happy to help out. I have a fenced yard and my mini Dashboard Dory will keep your dog company and show them around our big back yard with a hill to explore.
“Danielle is one of those rare people who immediately puts both dogs and their humans at ease. She took exceptional care of my rescue French Bulldog, Giani, who struggles with separation anxiety and can require a bit of extra patience and understanding. Danielle went above and beyond, even adjusting her schedule to accommodate his needs. Her calm demeanor, confidence, and extensive experience with dogs, including those with special needs, were evident from the start. Throughout Giani’s stay, I felt completely reassured that he was in caring and capable hands. I am deeply grateful for the care she provided and recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone seeking a truly outstanding dog sitter.”

“Svetlana was a dream and our little guy loved staying with her. They went on adventures, walks and had a lot of fun together. She sent us tons of videos and pictures to make sure we were updated. I can tell she adores dogs and takes really good care of them :)”

“Brad and Carolyn were so great with our dog, Marlo. They were very responsive and communicative, so nice to him during his stay, and just seem like they provide a great home. He even got a big, long walk.”

“We couldn't be happier with Jacob’s care for our dog, Yogi! He was amazing from start to finish—super communicative, consistently checked in with updates and adorable photos, and made sure Yogi stayed active and well-loved. Yogi came back happy, tired, and clearly had a great time. It's such a relief to know our pup was in such good hands. Highly recommend Jacob to anyone looking for a responsible and caring dog sitter!”

“Vivian accepted my boarding request asap when I needed last minute help! My shy dog, Fozzie, warmed up to her quickly. Vivian and her husband welcomed me into their home at the start, so I could see where Fozzie would be playing and see him meet their friendly dog, Daisy. It's very reassuring to get that intro. I'd highly recommend Vivian--she's a fantastic sitter!”

About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I come from a long line of dog people, with generations of family members who have always had dogs in the home. If you ask me my favorite subject, the answer is always “dogs.” I’m the type of person who says hello to every dog I pass, attends dog trivia nights for fun, and spends my free time volunteering at Santa Barbara Humane. If there’s a dog nearby, chances are I’ve already stopped to say hi! My background as an animal lover goes beyond passion. I spent years working in veterinary medicine, gaining hands-on experience caring for animals that need a little extra attention and support. This includes puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with medical needs. I already love spending time walking around beautiful Santa Barbara, so I’m thrilled to combine my daily walks with quality time spent with the doggos of Santa Barbara! I have a flexible, hybrid schedule and can typically adjust on short notice. If I do go into my office, it’s typically for 4-6 hours. I love taking walks throughout the day, so it’ll be easy to add walking your dog to my daily schedule! I have a one bedroom apartment with a sunny balcony. I am able to close off various spaces around the apartment if needed. I’m also comfortable with pets on furniture and giving baths if needed.
“Wendy was great! She kept me updated the entire time and took wonderful care of my dog, Artimus. Her home is very dog-friendly with a nice yard, and you can tell she genuinely loves dogs. I’d absolutely trust her to watch Artimus again.”

“Jacqueline and Roland were wonderful with Remy. They were mindful of his needs and accommodated him beautifully. They sent me pictures to eliminate my anxiety and were always responsive. We had a great experience!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs, young and old, and think the absolute world of these beautiful animals. I recently parted ways with my soul dog when he passed in March and have missed him every moment since. Despite this loss, I have not lost my love for dogs. Caring for your baby would be an absolute privilege and joy for me, and I promise to love and look out for them as my own. I work in home health healthcare but am typically available every morning before 10am and every afternoon after 4pm. My days can be flexible where I can check in periodically as well— I am happy to coordinate as needed. I’m also off every Wednesday and am available over overnight stays. I welcome dogs into the home as well and am always willing to take them out to the beach, on trails, and any adventures in general!

“Mario is the absolute best. I was Able to set up a meet and greet before my vacation. While on vacation, Mario kept my husband and I updated and I felt at ease knowing my Nala was okay. I will Definitely be having him dog sit Nala again! Thank you so much Mario.”

“I'm writing this review to let all other pet owners know how wonderful Cooper and Nora were in taking care of my Teddy! This was the first time I left my fur baby for an extended period of time (10 days). Cooper and Nora were so great throughout Teddy's stay with their family. They sent me pictures almost daily of his daily activities, but seeing him sleeping with their little kids at night was adorable. They definitely treated him with love and made him feel like part of their family! I'm so grateful and thankful to Cooper and Nora and would highly recommend them to all. I will definitely use them again!!”

About: I’ve supported my friends and family with their cats unique needs and wants to make them feel much more comfortable when their trusted people are gone. I know that time can be so distressing for them, so being calm and respecting their energy is so important to me. I love playing with energetic cats, too!
“Deandra was a great pet sitter for my senior 5 lb dog. I used her for extended drop ins two days in a row and she always came right as scheduled, checked in with me, and sent plenty of pictures and an update on my dog when she left. She gave my dog lots of love, treats, and outdoors time and he was happy and relaxed every time I came home after one of her visits. I’m so happy I found her and will be using her as a pet sitter going forward!”

“Courtney was awesome! Our senior cat needs special care and was well taken care of. We can tell she really cares and is attentive of your pet's needs. She regularly sends update texts and pics. Would be glad to book her again =)”

About: I’ve had cats my entire life and currently have 2 cats of my own that I’ve cared for for over 13 years after rescuing them off of the street. I also have experience caring for neighbors’ cats while they’re away. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, litter box care, playtime, medications if needed, and giving shy or nervous cats time and patience to warm up at their own pace.
“Leo is phenomenal! Very communicative before and during the booking. Four days in and our cat was cuddling on the couch with Leo. He’s a cat whisperer. Such a peace of mind while we were traveling. Would definitely book him again.”

About: I’ve been the proud owner of a tabby cat named Podunk for just about a year now. Although she lives in a small apartment, I pride myself on giving her an engaging and stimulating life. I am happy to take on the grittier tasks of taking care of a cat, such as litter and other messes. Further, I’m knowledgeable about how to keep cats away from scratching furniture or climbing on unwanted surfaces.
About: I received my MS degree in Human Canine Life Sciences last year. I have studied everything from genetics, domestication, breeding and legal regulations for canines, to the untapped potential of their abilities, the complexities of their emotional lives and the world of assisted therapy and facility dogs. I also recently completed a two-week workshop on training service animals. I have fostered and volunteered for 18 years and ran a dog walking business during college. I am a wealth of information about animals and a well of pure love that will never run dry. I can assess if there are health issues and make recommendations if you want to have that conversation. I also crock"pet" whole food dog food and can advise you on nutrition too, if that's of interest. I am highly sensitive to animals and their needs and moods and comfortability. I have two highly reactive large breeds and can handle dogs on leash in any situation (and won't put myself in one that I can not). I really want to be an advocate for all animals and be a positive part of your lives, whether it's a one time walk or everyday. I'm also here to talk about your pets with you and I will send from zero to a zillion photos and messages- whatever makes you feel good. I can promise you my full attention and so much crazy love for your mates. I am a writer and I also produce and act in the theatre. Most of the time, unless I am in rehearsal, I work from home with a highly flexible schedule. If I'm not home, I'm probably sneaking across the street (when my dawgos aren't looking) stealing snugs and offering the occasional greenie to the dogs on my block. They're sooooo nice, they kill me. I'm hugely attentive and I enjoy it all: a rambunctious playful dude, a senior who just wants belly rubs and snoogs, and the process of gaining the trust of a dog who may need some time and space at first. All of it. I pay attention. I'm with your pets to provide care, love and my presence, not just clock in and out. I feel a responsibility to the well-being of animals (and am honored to have that responsibility) because I have so much education and experience. The time I spend is quality and mindful and I'm truly grateful for it.
About: I loved dogs so much when I was young that when I was 13 I started my first job as a dog washer at the “European Grooming” dog groomers up the street from my childhood home. I would work there all day every Saturday and loved it because I got to be with so many dogs. I also have been a second mom to my friend’s two Pitbull pups which have been quite a handful, but noting I can’t handle! I have experience helping to train and discipline even the most hyper and aggressive pupsters. I’m currently working part time remotely and have a very flexible schedule. I just moved here and I think it would be fun to get to walk dogs while walking around this beautiful area 🌊 I can’t have dogs come to my home because my roommates have territorial cats, but I am happy to house sit and walk dogs to help families who need a reliable dog sitter.

About: I've taken care of cats of every kind since I was a child - from feeding the local ferals and rescuing strays to preparing trained Maine Coons for showtime and everything in between. While I know many sitters treat the family cat as an add-on that accompanies the dog, I know your kitty has its own personality, play style and quirks. With extensive experience with senior and medically fragile cats requiring a variety of healthcare treatments, I'm here to help ensure your feline friends are not just checked in on but truly nurtured while you're away.

About: I grew up taking care of my cats and dogs. Since becoming a student, I have house sat, fed and gave medications to both cats and dogs for neighbors, friends, and family whenever I was needed.

“Jenni provides excellent communication and a really calm, loving environment for dog daycare. She takes just one dog at a time. She has a very sweet, mellow dog of her own. In addition to walks, there is a sunny and fenced in courtyard. The location is easy to get to.”

About: Hello There! My little family and myself are pet lovers! 🥰 We have two dogs, two cats and a bearded dragon. Our home has always been a bit of a revolving door for furry friends. I have been dog walking and pet sitting locally for the past 17yrs and have plenty of references. I am out and about most mornings doing dog walks, typically 9/930-12ish and available again most afternoon or evenings depending on what you need. I work for an afterschool program during the school year so my schedule tends to open up a bit more during the summer. We have a high, fully fenced in back yard w plenty of shade. I tend to take boarded pups w me on my walks if the temperament works. We live in a very quiet little corner in Carpinteria surrounded by parks and bike trails.

“Alexandra and Billy were wonderful! We felt completely secure leaving our Dobie with them. They made him feel right at home and took him on fun walks and adventures. I would highly recommend Alexandra and Billy to anyone looking for a safe and reliable place where their fur baby will be loved and very well cared for. “Nina and her family were wonderfully sweet, attentive and caring with my high energy pup. He always came back happy and excited when I would pick him up. I also enjoyed how he they took him on some family days and sent me pics! He looked extremely happy and well cared for!”

About: I have worked at a cat boarding facility for the better part of five years. I have many pets and experience with the following; medicine administration, injecting insulin, monitoring the cats’ health and appetite, cleaning, and making sure each and every cat got the adequate attention they needed. In addition to this I have also pet sat for dogs and cats for years. Most of customers were regulars and I got to get to know each animal very well. I have also had both a dog and a cat my whole life, so I know what it is like to not only constantly care for a pet, but also love and worry about them, which is why I take such pride in ensuring my customers have complete peace knowing I will care for their pets! I am a college student and am available most afternoons, but have more freedoms Tuesdays, Thursdays, and the weekends. My schedule can be very flexible though. My main concern in caring for pets is their health and safety. I will always make sure they are doing well and have all the care they need in that aspect. I also will make sure they are happy and receiving the attention from me they need. I will always follow any and all instructions left on caring for pets.
“Bradley and Carolyn were fantastic sitters for Rocky. They kept him super active and entertained all three days of daycare, and Rocky came home very happy and tired each evening. Their location was super convenient for travelers staying or visiting in downtown Santa Barbara. Will definitely use again!”

“Karestin was so great with my 2 labs! She spent much of the day with them, emailed me photos, wore them down with great exercise at the beach, and truly enjoyed their company! We are very thankful for her kind, compassionate, understanding ways. She has great dog sense and was very receptive to our dogs certain idiosyncrasies. They truly had a blast with her!”
“I can't recommend Sandy enough. We were in a bind needing a last-minute sitter, and she was incredibly responsive and flexible. She made the logistics simple. My fiancé had no trouble at all coordinating drop-off and pick-up. While we were away, she sent photo updates that showed our dog relaxed and happy. When we picked him up, he was clearly well-cared for and in great spirits. Sandy truly saved the day. Thank you!”

“Jacob and his wife are wonderful to work with. They cared for our Bella, and sent us pictures and updates throughout the day. This is our 2nd time working together and we highly recommend them!”

“It was as perfect an experience as possible. Amazing communication, friendliness and flexibility including twice picking up an dropping off our baby at the hotel. We were at a dinner reception the first night, the wedding the second, and both times she told us not to worry if we were later than expected--"just have a good time, and so will we". True to word. Proof is that our dog which is a bit shy and skittish, ran to Katherine the second night. The pictures she sent of them all cuddling together really helped us have a great time. Can 't rate her high enough--just wish she lived closer.”

“My dog Rubio had an excellent time with Jayme. They went to the park for two hours during Ru's visit and had some chill out/nap time. Jayme is so sweet and provided me with a very thorough update on the visit. I would not hesitate to book with her again.”

“Ryan was very flexible and great with Zoey. Zoey went on many outings and was well cared for. I appreciated the pictures and updates. Zoey had a blast and was sad to leave. Ryan is very friendly and easy to work with.”

About: I work from home, so your dog is never alone for long. My fenced yard means safe outdoor play every day, and regular photo updates mean you'll actually be able to relax on your trip. I have a special needs dog of my own, so I have a particular soft spot for dogs that need a little extra care, but I'm equally comfortable with puppies, seniors, anxious dogs, and medication administration. I know exactly how much trust you're placing in me, and I don't take that lightly. Your dog gets a real home, real attention, and a lot of love. I work from home full time, which means your dog has company throughout the day rather than waiting for someone to come home. Walks, yard time, and cuddles fit naturally into my routine, I'm not squeezing pet care around a commute or office hours. Gladly have your pet a part of my day. My home is fully fenced, so outdoor time is always safe and supervised. Inside, dogs are welcome wherever they're most comfortable.. on the sofa, in the bedroom, wherever helps them settle in. I follow each owner's instructions closely, including crating if that's part of their dog's routine. I'll always ask about your dog's habits, triggers, and preferences before your stay so there are no surprises for either of us.

“I'm so happy that I found Honey! She and her pup Rosie were a great match for Bucky. Honey sent photos and updates often, and was very quick to respond. She was intuative with Bucky's needs and I knew he was in great hands. She has a comfortable home and bed that Bucky didn't want to get out of. About: Since my early childhood, I've nurtured a profound fascination with animals, which began when I used to visit my papa's ranch and assist him in caring for dogs, horses, lambs, and various other animals. This passion persisted as I ventured into horseback riding and my family welcomed our first golden retriever. Presently, my devotion to dogs has reached new heights as I have a Golden Retriever of my own, not just a family pet. She has become my dearest companion, best friend, and daughter. I first met her as a puppy and after a few times playing with her, knew she was mine. Along the way, I've happily taken on the role of pet-sitter for numerous friends' dogs and cats. I firmly believe that pets deserve nothing but the utmost care and affection, and I can see how the love they receive is beautifully reflected in their demeanor. Thanks to my keen intuition and ability to connect rapidly with dogs, some of my friends even refer to me as the "dog whisperer." I am currently in between jobs and have a pretty open schedule. I start my job mid July and will be available weekends and occasional nights then. As a dedicated dog babysitter, I want to assure you that your beloved furry friend's safety is my utmost priority. I am a responsible and reliable caregiver who takes the time to understand each dog's unique needs and preferences. My commitment to your pet's well-being means they will receive the love, attention, and care they deserve while you are away. I will strive to create a nurturing and stress-free environment for your dog, ensuring they feel comfortable and happy during our time together.

About: I’ve had animals in my life since I was born. I’ve had bunnies and cats and fish and dogs and birds. I’ve learned great ways to meet each of these animals with gentle and respectful care. I primarily work Monday-Wednesday 11am-8pm. I’m much more available in the evenings and weekends to take care of beloved pets. Pet walks would be most accessible on Thursdays-Sundays. I do not offer pet care in my home, I don’t have pets because I live in a very tiny apartment and know that’s not conducive for their wellbeing. In my client’s home, I show the utmost respect and care for their items, animal care needs and I triple check that I leave everything clean and locked.
About: I've walked, and taken care of my dog for eight years. What ive learned from taking care of my dog is learning how to take care of a dog with anxiety. This can be said for my brothers dog as well, as he also has anxiety, and Ive tooken care and walked him frequently. I'm very detail orientated with dogs, so that they feel comfortable and happy. So ify they need some kind of specific care, I will make it a priority. Im currently just going to Santa Barbara City College. I have college on Mondaya, Thursdays, asn Fridays from 10 to 3. Every other day is free, and evenings are free as well on college days. I live in a neighborhood with a huge community shared front yard. Very dog friendly. And live close to alot of fun locations for dogs to be walked in. Such as a huge park, and a beach right next to it, all walking distance from where I live.

About: Hi my name is Melissa! I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud owner of a 7-year-old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix. Raising and caring for my own dog has taught me so much about patience, consistency, and understanding each dog’s unique personality. I’ve also worked with him through dog training, so I’m familiar with positive reinforcement techniques and basic training tools that help keep dogs happy, engaged, and well-behaved. In addition to caring for my own pup, I’m the go-to dog sitter for my cousins, family, and friends whenever they’re out of town. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, feeding, sticking to routines, or simply providing companionship, I genuinely enjoy making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. What sets me apart is the level of care I give every dog. I don’t see pet sitting as just a job I treat every dog like they’re my own. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I make it my priority to provide dependable, attentive, and loving care. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages, follow your dog’s routine closely, and make sure they receive plenty of exercise, affection, and one-on-one attention. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family member! I am available in the mornings or afternoons. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I already care for my own 7-year-old dog every day, so adding walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention for other pets is something I truly enjoy. I have a flexible schedule outside of work and make it a priority to give every pet the time, care, and attention they deserve. I care for every pet as if they were my own. As a dog owner of 7 years, I understand how important routine, patience, and safety are. I follow each pet’s normal schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions while making sure they feel comfortable and loved. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing.

“Monika was absolutely fabulous. She was loving with my dog and took great care of her. She was a terrific communicator as well. Would definitely have her take care of my dog again.”

“Katherine picked up my little dog and took her for a walk. She has been extremely accommodating and even brought my puppy a treat because it was her first birthday. She’s very caring and truly loves dogs. I highly recommend Katherine.”

“Cheryl did a great job of caring for and exercising our 4 year old lab from our Montecito Airbnb. Carley instantly liked her and was nice and tired when we returned. Cheryl was an excellent communicator and working with her was a breeze. Carley seemed quite pleased as well. I highly recommend her.”

About: Hi, my name is Basilia, I also go by Juno. Although I don’t have any formal dog experience, I have grown up around dogs all my life. I have experience house/dog sitting for my friends and neighbors in high-school, and even more experience taking care of my families big dogs. Further, I have some experience taking care of senior dogs, as my late Akita spent nearly 5 years on intensive medication. I love playing with dogs, taking them on walks, going to the dog park, and making life good in the safety of their own homes. I’m a student at Santa Barbara City College, but my flexible schedule allows me to spend plenty of time with your animals! I have at least 2-4 hours a day available to spend playing with, walking, or otherwise taking care of your babies. I prioritize pet safety in my care. I listen carefully to your rules about where the animal is/isn’t allowed to go, and can provide intensive support for your animals. I make sure to spend time building trust with the animal using treats or soothing methods upon meeting them, so that they feel safe and comfortable around me.

About: I treat dogs with the Golden Rule. Dogs have short lives and it’s up to us to make them full of love, friends, long walks, and sunshine! I’ll treat your pup like I treat my own, and with any special care precautions. I have loved caring / training my own dogs and grew up taking care of my family dogs as well. I am quick to understanding their little special ways of communicating. Work from home most days and have a balcony, a lovely little courtyard, and a dog park in my complex for fresh air. I can, and enjoy taking morning, afternoon and evening walks at one of the several nice walking paths nearby. I have neighbor dog friends that I watch occasionally and would love to come play if your dog prefers dog company. My complex is highly secure, and I live in a lovely safe and walkable area. I have a courtyard and dog park and courtyard facing patio.
“Damian is the best! He has looked after our dog for over three weeks while we were away, and he cares for her just like his own dog. Sprite gets daily excised and fun time, and we receive frequent updates on her. Will go back to Damian again!”

“Honey took such great care of our 2 Australian Shepherds. She was responsive, proactive with asking the right questions, and sent plenty of videos/ photos which we really appreciated. Honey particularly went above and beyond by showing us new commands that she had taught the dogs while we were gone. Our pups came home both exhausted (in a good way), behaved, and well satisfied. Lastly, we were especially appreciative when our travel plans unexpectedly changed and Honey agreed to continue watching the dogs for an extra 4 days even when she has personal plans of her own. Thank you so much, Honey!”
