As he’s an old pup his legs are a bit weak; Debra went the extra mile to set up a carpet path and extra bedding to make sure he was comfortable and could walk around. About: I’ve cared for my Australian Shepherd for over 9 years, helping him thrive into seniorhood with daily enrichment, joint care, and gentle exercise. I’m comfortable administering medication, supporting older dogs, and reading animal body language. I treat every pet like family—attentive, calm, and tuned in to their unique needs I am currently open to most hours, I am in between jobs, and attempting to supplement my search with income in alternative manners so I am available during most weekdays and weekends, and on a case-by-case basis, I can work with you and your needs. I have a shared fenced yard and live in the basement unit of a single family home. I have a 11 year old Australian Shepherd, who is polite, loves being involved with others. He is slow to react to hostility, meaning he can take a lot of nonsense, but he knows how to tell the kids to slow down. He also is anti-conflict and loves to make sure everyone is safe. Megan was amazing! She was super responsive, which allowed us to find care for our dog on our trip(!). She provided a perfect amount of updates and photos and made us feel really good about Reggie's care. She was flexible and drop off and had Reggie ready to go at pick up. We are so grateful for Megan, and I think Reggie wasn't actually ready to leave! Reggie will absolutely hang out with Megan again on his next trip to Seattle.
Ginger was absolutely wonderful with my anxious pup. They were so patient and gentle from the start. I could tell he felt safe and cared for while I was away. The updates and photos gave me so much peace of mind. Ginger took him on so many adventures. My pup came home happy and tired. It is clear they truly go above and beyond. My senior chihuahua typically does not like young children, but to my surprise her wonderful daughter was able to kiss him and hold him. She even made him a departing gift - which melted my heart. I am so grateful to have found someone so trustworthy and compassionate. I will definitely be booking again! And would recommend Ginger to anyone looking for a dog sitter. I cannot say enough great words for Ginger.
Zach was great - as was his own dog Maya. He had a very clean house and back yard for the dogs to be comfortable. There was no worry that the dogs would get into anything. He had great communication and gave us daily updates with photos. We'll be back to visit Sitka and Luca's new friend Zach!
Sparrow was absolutely amazing with my maltipoo Finnie! She sent tons of photos and updates which were really comforting to see while I was gone. Finnie got plenty of walks and play time with her sweet dog Bin Bin! When Finnie wasn’t eating his food she even hand fed him to make him more comfortable eating there. Overall, Finnie was very well taken care of and I would highly recommend Sparrow to anyone!
Adam was super responsive and took great care of boomer, on short notice no less. He made sure to get all the info for care on boomer at a meet and greet and was very communicative! I could tell boomer was happy and well taken care of when I picked her up. Would def recommend Adam for anyone looking for exceptional care!
