“As always it is an absolute pleasure to have Freya looked after our beloved pup, Oscar. She is brilliant always lets me know what’s going on keeps me updated with pics and messages she is an absolute star 🌟 highly recommend”

“Corina was great with our 5 month old Goldendoodle. He can be very playful and bouncy and she used positive redirection to help manage this. Our pup was very content being in her company would definitely book with her again”

“We felt secure in the knowledge that Kirsten was looking after both our house and our dogs. Both of our dogs took to Kirsten straight away and were relaxed in her company despite one of the dogs being generally uneasy around unknown people. The dogs were feed, watered, walked and by the look of the photos hade a really good time. Would I recommend Kirsten, yes 100%.”

“Natasha was amazing, as always. Libero, who tends to dislike everyone, loves her and even cried a little when she left! She has endless patience with a dog that some sitters wouldn't even want to look after and his very (very, very!) understanding of his quirks. Libero is one lucky dog!”

“Emily took great care of our dog Aggy at our home. Very communicative and kept me updated throughout. I’d highly recommend Emily for dogsitting and wouldn’t hesitate to use her services again.”

“Ryah was fantastic and i will absolutely be booking her again! Eddie was so happy when I got home and he even played during the day which doesn't normally happen unless he's really relaxed. Ryah took great care of our house as well”

“Another brilliant dog sit by Anika. Bertie gets ridiculously excited when he sees Anika turning up! He adores her. I’m super fussy with who I leave Bertie with as he’s not an easy dog but with Anika I don’t have to worry at all. It’s the nicest feeling to be able to go out and know that he’s being exceptionally well looked after. Anika is more than happy to follow Bertie’s routine and with her own knowledge and understanding of dogs, leaving Bertie is just so stress free. Thanks so much again Anika”

“We couldn’t ask for more with Katie! She was amazing with our dog Mila from when she arrived. We received regular updates and we felt totally at ease while we were away. Katie is a fantastic sitter, she is brilliant and we’ll be in touch very soon! Thanks Katie!”

“Maria was amazing, she looked after our very anxious dog with great care, love and kindness. She was calm and patient with Bonnie, she looked after her in our home and sent lots of pictures and updates during our holiday. Thank you Maria! I would absolutely recommend Maria and feel very grateful to her for the care and love she gave to Bonnie.”

About: Hi! I am a reliable and enthusiastic dog lover with years of experience caring for dogs of different ages and energy levels. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, relaxed strolls, or plenty of playtime, I will make sure they get the exercise, attention, and care they need. I am also the proud owner of a lovely, calm Cockapoo who gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Having a dog of my own means I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and caring to look after your pet, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and routine. I am comfortable following specific instructions and providing regular updates so you can feel confident while you are away. My goal is to ensure your dog feels happy, safe, loved, and well cared for at all times, giving you complete peace of mind while you are away. The dogs that I care for take priority in my life. My day will revolve around them. I provide a safe, structured and loving environment where your pet will get constant supervision, regular outdoor time, daily walks, and plenty of affection and interaction. I have a fully fenced, secure garden that your fur baby can enjoy freely throughout the day. I work part time from home, so they will never be left alone and will have regular opportunities to go outside and explore the garden safely. Your dog will also enjoy two daily walks in the nearby safe parks and woodland areas, we are surrounded by beautiful green spaces. They will also get plenty of playtime, cuddles and one‑to‑one interaction to keep them happy and relaxed.
“James and Jade were amazing with our three dogs (2 labradors and greyhound). They were well looked after and they went over and above what was expected of them. We will definitely use them to pet sit our three again.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs, never having known life without one! I’ve personally owned labradors and Great Danes, but also have experience with other dogs such as greyhounds and spaniels, along with a variety of cats! Additionally, I’ve had a host of other pets, including lizards, chickens, horses, and rabbits, just to name a few! I love animals of all shapes and sizes! Some of my dogs have been puppies, and some I have rehomed when they were in older age. Therefore, I have experience with dogs who may be more nervous or unsure. We’ve kept our dogs for their whole lives, and so I am very well equipped to care for the youngest pups to the oldest dogs! Alongside this, I have completed work experience placements with a canine physiotherapist, and have had hands on experience with dogs in need of extra special attention and support. I enjoyed seeing dogs thrive under this care. Every dog deserves love, and I can promise I can provide that by the bucketful. I will treat your dog as my own, and I can ensure your best friend will be in safe hands. I am a full time student, and so over the summer I have no regular commitments, and therefore I am free at almost any day and time. I can very easily drive, take public transport, or cycle to your home in order to provide service. Due to being a student, I am available for durations and times that many other individuals may struggle to provide. I will also be able to adapt very easily to any need to change schedules, or fit in with your own plans. First and foremost, I believe that it is crucial that all pets feel comfortable safe and happy when in a new situation. I am happy to do free introduction sessions, where you are present, so that your fur baby can get used to me as a new presence, and you can ensure that you feel comfortable with me caring for your pet, whilst also ensuring you have provided all information that I may need. I am used to anxious and shy pets, and so this does not phase me, and I understand that different pets may have different requirements or need different things from me as a caregiver. I will ensure that your pets comfort is always my utmost priority.
“We were really happy with the care Roslyn gave. She knows exactly how to handle our Chow Chow, and we could tell he was very comfortable with her. She also kept the house spotless, which is very important to us and we really appreciate it. She even left our dog clean and happy. We would definitely recommend her and would be glad to have her help again! 🐾 🦁”

About: From a very young age, dogs have been part of my life. My family became part of the guide dog community and through the experience of training several puppies I gained the knowledge of working with amazing dogs who went on to help people and raise future guide dogs prospects! I am currently the owner of an 9 year old Rescue Golden Retriever. He is such an amazing dog and I adore him. Every day I analyze his behavior, making sure he is comfortable, dynamically sound, and has time to exercise outside the home to meet his psychological and physiological needs. When caring for someone else's dog, I treat them with respect and give them space if necessary as well as assess their behavior constantly, making sure they are content and happy with the time spent with me. We can discuss any requirements needed for the walk, or any training that I should encorporate with them. Photos and videos will be provided along with frequent updates throughout our walk! We live local to many of England's well known parks: Danson, Knolle, Lullingstone & Peckham Park. These terrains allow dogs plenty of mental stimulation and exercise. For returning dogs we will vary this, as there are local woods and other lovely areas, as well as quiet fields for those who are more temperamental and love space. I am working as a part of a veterinary specialist team with my own business and treatments - if you would like to see my business and what I get up to feel free to check out .Therapeutic massages can be integrated at an extra cost 😊
“Ola did an amazing job looking after our very elderly dog and cat. We were very nervous leaving them, especially our old dog Sam who is blind and has dementia, but Ola really went above and beyond to care for him. Sam didn’t give her an easy time, waking in the night. Both pets have daily tablets too. Ola stayed in our house and left it spotlessly clean. We felt she is extremely trustworthy and caring and highly recommend her.”

“We feel so lucky to have found Hayley! She cared wonderfully for our elderly, anxious cat who needs daily medication and lots of attention. She kept us reassured with updates and photos, formed a lovely bond with him, and also cared for our fish and kept the house tidy. If I could give more stars, I would — highly recommended!”

Bethan was amazing! Finn bonded with her straight away, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She looked after both Finn and our flat incredibly well, and we returned to a happy cat and everything just as we left it. We’d definitely recommend Bethan to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.

What can I say, except thank you Arina so much for coming to look after Gracie and Dora, whilst we disappeared on holiday. Any fears I had about not only leaving our babies and our home in the hand of someone they or we didn’t know were very quickly . Dispersed. Arina made sure we had regular picture and up dates and picture of the girls who looked so happy and chilled. I’m not sure they really worried about us being away and our home was immaculate on our return . I would definately have Arina come and look after my house and pups again.

My dogs loved Paul on their first meeting. He walked them and they can be a handful and also had to look after a cat with dementia. He left the house clean and tidy and even watered my plants every day. I would definitely use Paul again and would be happy to recommend his services.

Holly was amazing and stepped in last minute when my Mum was taken into hospital and I was booked to go away so couldn't take care of her animals that week. All the animals looked so happy when I came back, I would definitely use Holly again. Thank you so much Holly :)
Emily took great care of our boy Buster. Emily’s very responsive and easy to communicate with and came out of her way to meet us and Buster before our appointment which was greatly appreciated. Buster loved Emily and she was very punctual, respectful of our home and care requests. We’d definitely recommend Emily and will be looking to book her again 🐾

This was the first time I went away on holiday and was apprehensive about getting a cat nanny to begin with as I usually leave him with family. However, I found Teri-Jayne on cat in a flat and loved her profile so I ended up enquiring about booking her to look after my precious boy. She came to meet my baby and myself before the holiday and instantly we clicked and it was such a genuine connection. During my holiday, I also got daily updates from her with pictures and videos which assured me that he was in good hands. She is absolutely exceptional at her job and my baby ended up loving her straight away. I would highly recommend booking Teri-Jayne as she is trustworthy and goes above and beyond for your pet. She will now be my trusted person I book with whenever I go on holiday. Thank you Teri-Jayne for being so kind hearted, trustworthy and an overall incredible person! Xoxo Nina & parsley

Sacha and Gina were absolutely wonderful with Aria. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and caring, and kept me updated throughout the stay, which gave us great peace of mind. It was clear Aria was happy, comfortable, and very well looked after. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy and loving sitters!

Sophie looked after our chow chow and was extremely professional, she greeted our dog with a gentle approach and let him decide when he wants attention. She understood his aloof traits and took good care of him with regular updates whilst I was away. Sophie also took good care of the house and kept everything very clean. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a house sitter to take care of your pets and I will book Sophie again when I go away and finally it’s good to find someone that takes good care of my dog that whilst I was away I was able to relax.

Freya was excellent from start to finish, whether that was being easy to deal with, being flexible to changes in our travel plans, or being instantly trusted and liked by our dog, Milo. We will definitely use Freya's services in the future and would wholeheartedly recommend her to others.

Thoroughly recommend Jessica for dog sitting and walking. She was kind enough to come over for a pre meet and wasn’t fazed by our excitable schnauzer, who was very quickly comfortable around her- Jessica is clearly a dog lover. She kept us updated throughout with photos and videos and our dog seemed to have a great time with her. Will definitely be booking Jessica again!

Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Bexley choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 89% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
