“Saffron had a great time with Neil and his dog, Cash. He was being professional, friendly and flexible when I needed a last-minute care for her. Neil sent me some photographs and a lovely video of Saffron to reassured me that she was having a good time during her time with him. He also listened to my concerns about Saffron's allergies and looked after her very well. I was happy with his service and would book him again.”

“I picked up my lovely ziggy after he spent the day with Ely and I was very happy to see ziggy happy and wagging his tail. Ely is confident and experienced with dogs and followed ziggys routine which is so reassuring. I will definitely be using Ely ongoing. Thanks so much!”

“Jen was very responsive, friendly and provided updates during the day, which was much appreciated. She was looking after several dogs on the day we visited, but the atmosphere was very calm and she had obviously thought about who got along with who and separated accordingly!”

“Nyah was perfect! This was my dog Aria's first time being alone with a dog sitter and I was a little worried that she might cry. But Nyah kept me updated throughout the day and I can say that Aria had a great time and was really happy and relaxed! I will definitely let Nyah take care of her again!”

“Hannah was lovely, Benedict had a great time with her and slept all night once he was home so she clearly did a great job keeping him entertained! Couldn’t recommend her enough, thank you!”

About: Hi, I’m Lynne, and I share my home with one dog and two cats — so I’m very familiar with different temperaments, routines, and the little details that keep pets happy and healthy. I provide dog walking, dog sitting, and cat sitting with a focus on safety, consistency, and communication. You can expect regular updates, respect for your home, and a sitter who follows your instructions closely. My aim is to make your pets feel comfortable and secure while giving you complete peace of mind. Services: Dog walking tailored to your dog’s energy level Dog sitting with structure and calm companionship (in your home) Cat sitting with feeding, litter care, playtime, and affection Your pets will be treated with the same care and attention I give my own. I am home all day so will be able to fit in pet care whenever is suitable for you. I will feed, walk, play, clean litter trays - whatever is needed. I will not be able to look after pets in my own home - however I am happy to drop by and walk your dog, play on the garden, keep them company for as long as you need. I will feed cats, clean litter trays, play and keep them company also.

“Tiago is a wonderful carer for our Cocker Spaniel puppy, Vanilla. He is naturally warm, nurturing, and caring, and he genuinely adores dogs. We always know that Vanilla will have the best time when she is in his care. His dog, Ted, is beautiful, gentle, and incredibly well-behaved. Vanilla loves spending time with him and is always excited to see him again. Tiago provides regular updates and shares beautiful photos, which gives us great peace of mind. “Doug and Trina were absolutely fantastic looking after Mauby. From the moment I met them, it was clear they genuinely love dogs, and they made him feel right at home. Mauby had a brilliant time with them, and he especially loved spending time with their lovely dog, Skyla. It was great knowing he had a friendly companion to play with and that he was getting plenty of attention, exercise, and care. I wouldn't hesitate to book with Doug and Trina again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for kind, trustworthy, and experienced dog sitters. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of Mauby!”

Alina has been amazing today, she kept me updated the whole day and shared photos and videos. She genuinely cares about the wellbeing of the dog, and she cared a lot for Cloudy today, doing extra things by herself, it shows how much she cares. Thank you so much, 100% recommend her ❤️

Sophie is a rescue dog who is normally nervous of people she doesn’t know but with Andrea it was love at first sight 😂. She was so happy to see her and stay with her. Andrea gave us mutiple updates a day which gave us peace of mind to know sophs was doing great. Thanks Andrea for taking good care of our little girl. We would definitely use Andrea again

Amazing experience (again) for our baby girl. Bodie always loves visiting Eliana and her family. This booking was a first for an overnight stay and clearly Bodie really enjoys spending time with the family. We will have no concerns recommending Eliana to other dog owners looking for a safe environment for their dogs.
Cannot thank Laura enough for looking after my fur baby. Laura is quite easily one of the loveliest and most down to earth people I have come across, I have never had anyone look after my Dolly before so I was very hesitant to leave her however Laura made this experience so seamless for both myself and Dolly! She sent regular pics / vids with updates, would definitely recommend and will 100% be back booking with her !! Thank you again !! Xxx

Thank you so much,Rebecca , for looking after Milo! You took great care of him, and I really appreciate it.Milo can be a handful, but he was soo happy and he accommodated quickly,Bertie is a good friend to him as well and We definitely will recommend you to anyone who would like to have their best friend looked after, and thanks again for your time and care x

Very friendly family. Halima is really good with dog’s and our Doberman was instant friends with Leo the German shepherd. Halima went on a long walk using long leads to ensure safety and control. Lovely home and very safe. Definitely will be using her again as our dog loved her stay.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in Greater London may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
