“We left our 13 week old Cavapoo, Eldrick, with Laura for the day. She was first class. Sent us pics and videos of him throughout the day. He was so cared for and had the best day. It was the hottest day and there was a little paddling pool and doggy sun lounger set up for him. Eldrick and Whiskey will be best friends. We will definitely be booking Laura again when we need to go out for the day. Thank you for looking after him like he was your own. Xx”

“I booked my dog with Ruchi for day boarding. Ruchi has a beautiful dog who is very friendly. I had some concerns that my small cavapoochon may or may not be comfortable with their dog. Ruchi assured me that they will monitor to ensure my dog doesnt get overwhelmed. Through the day, I got regular updates and it was clear both dogs had become friends and were spending good time with each other, which was a joy to see. When my dog came home, he was clearly missing Ruchis dog and the company. Ruchi knows animals and both Ruchi and Judit were very caring with my dog. Ruchi and Judit are great people too and I would gladly book them again. Thank you.”

“Moose is just a baby and this was his first day away ! We had regular video updates through the day putting our minds at rest and Moose made a good friend in Coco who was very patient with him! Totally felt Moose was being looked after”

“I couldn’t be happier with my experience! From the very first meeting, it was clear how caring, responsible, and genuinely loving Danny is with dogs. My dog was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for when I picked him up.”

About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 8 years old and have always been very hands-on with their care, routines and wellbeing. I currently have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Venus, so I’m very familiar with gentle, affectionate breeds and the importance of a calm & structured home environment. I naturally pay attention to a dog’s energy, comfort and routine, and I prioritise creating a peaceful space where they feel safe and settled. I’m best suited for small, well-socialised dogs who are used to being in a home environment and around other dogs. Your dog will be treated with the same care, attention and routine as my own :) I work from home, so I’m able to provide consistent care, attention and supervision throughout the day. Your dog won’t be left alone and will be part of a structured routine alongside my own dog, Venus. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to adapt to your dog’s needs, whether that’s regular walks, rest time or simply a peaceful environment to relax in. I provide a nice, safe and home-style environment where dogs are treated with care and respect. My Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Venus is gentle and friendly, so I only accept small, well-socialised dogs who are comfortable around others. I pay close attention to each dog’s behaviour, comfort and routine, and I’m happy to follow any specific instructions to make sure they feel at ease during their stay.
“I left my 1 year old Samoyed, Mr. Darcy, with Maria. She’s a superstar. She took great care of him, gave him the exercise, rest and love he needed. I was quite worried as he can be a bit boisterous but she reassured me that everything is under control and my Darcy returned home tired and fulfilled and he had a great day having fun with her. I would 100% recommend her services! Great job Maria!”

“Sophie looked after Leo for the afternoon and he already felt at home with her and her dog Rocky. She’s very accommodating, has lots of experience with caring for different breeds and is simply an amazing dog sitter! Great first stay! I couldn’t be any happier with Leo being in her care and will be using her services again very soon. Thank you so much for looking after Leo today. 🐾”

About: Hi there! 🙂 I am a freelance artist with a passion for animals! I work entirely from home, with my own business, and therefore am available all day to tend to animals. I have a secured large 200ft long garden, safe for any escape artists, with lots of grass for zoomies, and a deck to bask in the sun. I leave the backdoor open in the warmer weather, so they can go into the garden at will. I also have multiple baby gates around my home to segregate animals if needed, to ensure the safety of all animals while under my care. There is an XL crate in my kitchen diner which dogs can have access to day and night, as well as 7 donut anxiety beds of various sizes in the kitchen, living room, upstairs hallway and bedroom. I have trained each dog I have owned, since I was a teenager, and have been to multiple dog and puppy training classes to educate myself on dog behaviour and new training methods. I am confident handling any dog, and enjoy teaching them new tricks! I have walked small dogs and large dogs, and an confident with both. I do have a vehicle with ample room for 4 dogs to go for longer walks too! When booking, please let me know: 🐾 If your dog has any dietary restrictions / allergies 🐾 If your dog has any anxiety, and if there are particular triggers 🐾 If your dog requires a muzzle 🐾 If they are good with other dogs 🐾 (For boarding) If they have had any interactions with cats Any questions don't hesitate to ask! 😊 I run my own business from my home, so I am available all day to look after animals! I am used to the regular attention dogs need, having had my own dogs all my life, and cared for family and friends dogs in my home.
“Very friendly family. Halima is really good with dog’s and our Doberman was instant friends with Leo the German shepherd. Halima went on a long walk using long leads to ensure safety and control. Lovely home and very safe. Definitely will be using her again as our dog loved her stay.”

“Maria is lovely and very professional, kings love to spend time with her , she is very good with puppies and trying , we are learning a lot with her , great garden and we are happy to continue with her sitting .”

About: I have had pets in my life for as long as I remember. Growing up around animals was fantastic and I'm grateful I was able to do so. Currently my family home has 2 dogs, 2 cats, a bunny rabbit and a pond full of fish! I now live in a flat and can't keep pets but would love the chance to take care of others! I have also been cat sitting for a friend for the last couple of years and regularly stay at his while he goes on holiday. I’m currently on gardening leave so have plenty of spare time before starting a new role! Happy to stay in or drop in several times a day, whatever is needed! I’m always clean and discrete, if I were to visit your home or stay, you’d almost never know I was there (sometimes I will leave it cleaner than when I arrived). I will make sure water is changed, food is out, snacks are given and most of all playtime is enjoyed!
“Tracy was great with Dotty, she fitted straight in to her little gang. I felt very comfortable leaving Dot in a warm and caring home with the added bonus of her having a great time. Tracy was very accommodating especially since I was slightly late. Thank You Tracy, Dot is looking forward to her next visit. X”

About: We have a 5 year old miniature daschund who we rescued her when she was around 6 months old. She's now a very cuddly part of our family and a furry, happy, fully functioning member of her doggy community. We also look after family and friends dogs. Our care involves lots of cuddles and attention, we allow dogs in all parts of the house, including on the sofa! My wife and I have a miniature daschund so one of us is always home during the week. We both work in hybrid roles which makes this possible. Our jobs can be flexible, allowing breaks throughout the day to interact with our dog from playing to toilet breaks, plus a lunchtime walk. At weekends we tend to go on longer walks as a family once a day. We have a young daughter who loves dogs and has learnt to be very gentle but also playful with our own dog. However, we are always around to supervise interactions. Our dog's daily routine is wake between 6-7am for breakfast, walk at 12/1pm, dinner at 5pm and bed (crate trained) at 9/9:30pm, with carrot/dental stick snacks in the day. We have a large fenced garden to play in and for toilet breaks.
“Laura and her family looked after Rudy once a week whilst he was a young puppy as I had to go into the office and he loved his time there, he got lots of love and attention, he enjoyed the garden and always came home very tired from his busy day, Rudy will miss his Mondays at Laura's!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Eliana and her family. Our puppy dog Rolo stayed with them for the day, they were incredibly friendly, and caring. It was clear that Rolo was well looked after, he enjoyed plenty of playtime, a nice walk and the chance to meet a new family in a warm and comfortable environment. We would happily recommend Eliana and her family to anyone looking for loving care for their pet.”

“We were so lucky to find Megan! Firstly, because it was fairly last minute, and secondly because we were also able to fit in a small meet and greet at her house so Raffie knew where she was going on the day. Megan was so lovely, kind and attentive with Raffie and arrived to pick her up quite early so we could see her off. We got updates throughout the day, and it seems Raffie was very relaxed in her care, which is a bonus! Thank you so much for everything!”

About: I’m a devoted step-mum to my partner’s 6 year old cairn terrier, and have had several cats of my own over recent years. I currently have no pets at home and so I’m keen to have some animals in my life again! I regularly dog and cat sit for friends and family, both in my home and in theirs. I’m thoughtful, have good attention to detail and I’m very organised. I also have experience of delivering injections and pills to dogs and cats if needed! I’m currently job hunting, so I’m at home most of the week, which will give me plenty of time to watch your pet (and a chance for me to procrastinate too!). I currently live with my mum who also loves pets. I love going for a daily walk so taking your dog along will be a pleasure! I have a fenced, secure garden with no exits. I also have a porch, which prevents eager dogs from exiting out of the front door!
The median cost per day for doggy day care in Bexley is £28

Cannot thank Laura enough for looking after my fur baby. Laura is quite easily one of the loveliest and most down to earth people I have come across, I have never had anyone look after my Dolly before so I was very hesitant to leave her however Laura made this experience so seamless for both myself and Dolly! She sent regular pics / vids with updates, would definitely recommend and will 100% be back booking with her !! Thank you again !! Xxx

We are so pleased we chose Douglas and Trina to look after Milo for a few days. She went above and beyond to make Milo feel at home and gave us regular updates and photos after. She made us feel Milo was in good hands. Highly recommend. Very friendly home and Very good price. They seems to really care about animals. I think Milo loved his time there and we will definitely recommend to anyone and call again if we need , thank you x

Thank you so much,Rebecca , for looking after Milo! You took great care of him, and I really appreciate it.Milo can be a handful, but he was soo happy and he accommodated quickly,Bertie is a good friend to him as well and We definitely will recommend you to anyone who would like to have their best friend looked after, and thanks again for your time and care x

Andrea was superb with looking after my family dog, she was constantly updating us throughout the day with him and how he was getting on. He stayed the night and was something we’ve never done before but Andrea made us very at ease and we would definitely go back to her again to look after our dog. Highly recommend her to anyone who is struggling to find someone to leave their dog with.

Hannah was really efficient with the booking and listened to everything we said about Tilly. We felt completely relaxed leaving her there and she had a great time.Hannah took the time to send photos and give updates of her day. We would be happy to leave Tilly with Hannah again.
Very friendly family. Halima is really good with dog’s and our Doberman was instant friends with Leo the German shepherd. Halima went on a long walk using long leads to ensure safety and control. Lovely home and very safe. Definitely will be using her again as our dog loved her stay.

Gil and Ian are a lovely couple who my precious Dachshunds took an instant like to. It was so reassuring to leave them in their company and not have to worry about them. Their stay was only half a day because I finished my business earlier than anticipated so was able to collect well ahead of schedule. Pretzel was especially enamoured with Gil and enjoyed lots of cuddles and belly rubs - I don't think he wanted to leave !! Anyway, suffice to say I would wholeheartedly recommend Gil and Ian to look after your precious pooches anytime. I only used them this once because both my regular sitters were on holiday, but if needed again in the future, Gil and Ian would be my first port of call. Thanks again for everything 👍

For what has felt like a lifetime, we’ve been looking for a dog sitter that we felt comfortable enough to look after our cockerpoo (Bodie). Finally we tried Rover and found Eliana. After an initial Meet & Greet with Eliana and her daughter, we decided to book for a day session for yesterday. Everything went extremely smoothly from booking the session to drop off and collection. Bodie seemed happy and content when we collected her last night and Eliana reported back on her observations of how Bodie responded during the day. We will be booking a number of daytime sessions over the coming months as we build up the trust between Bodie and Eliana.
Ruby is a fantastic host. She was so understanding of our needs and was very flexible, even waiting with Eric until long after our agreed collection time as our plans had changed throughout the day. Ruby kept regular contact throughout the day with lots of lovely photos and videos which really put my mind at ease. I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook with Ruby again in the future and couldn’t recommend her more highly.

There are 16,087 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Bexley. About 87% of Bexley sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.
Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Bexley commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.
Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in Greater London may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
