“I can't rate Emily highly enough. She took amazing care of Elsa whilst I was away. Emily has a gentle way with cats and a maybe a touch of the cat whisperer as even my nervous, wary of new people, hatea everyone, scardy cat warmed to Emily.”

About: I have had dogs all my life and grew up in the Lake District so have spent a fair amount of time from about the age of 12 looking after them, walking them and going on many adventures. I have a beautiful 9 year old Flat Coated Retriever back at home but I moved to Sidcup in September and have now started at Bird College. I miss the company of my furry friend at home and would love to take care of any friends that need it. I know each dog is so unique and has their own needs so I will always adapt to their needs when they are with me and give lots of attention if that is what they need. I really want your dog to feel relaxed and safe when they are with me. MUST BE COMMUTABLE VIA PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN SIDCUP. If you have any questions feel free to give me a message ☺️ I am currently a student studying Musical Theatre at Bird College. I have Saturday and Sundays off. I am also available a Thursday annd Friday evening after 4. Let me know anything your dog needs so they can be as comfortable as possible with me and be kept in normal routine you have for them.

“Sarah was absolutely fantastic looking after Savannah, Harlow and our four kittens while we were away. She took such great care of them and kept us reassured that everyone was happy and well. She even looked after Lensko, our lizard, which was really thoughtful and very much appreciated. It’s clear that Sarah genuinely cares about animals, and we felt completely comfortable knowing they were all in her hands. We came home to happy, well-looked-after pets. We would definitely recommend Sarah and wouldn’t hesitate to ask her to look after them again. Thank you so much!”

About: I own a 4 year old street dog who didn't even know his name when we adopted him, with numerous serious behavioural problems. However now with a lot of training, patience and kindess I have managed to transform into a cuddly, loving pet who I wouldn't replace for the world. I have also helped a clients dog go from an extreme ball of nervousness and anxiety that wouldn't want to leave the garden into running around off lead in the park happy as anything. This has made me extremely comfortable and confident around animals of all varties, so no matter what problems/quirks your pet(s) might have, im certain I'll be able to help and make sure all their needs are met! Taking care of pets is my number 1 prioirty and will always fit my day around being able to do it as much as possible, without dropping the quality of the care that I provide. I can work from 8am to 8:30pm every Monday-Thursday for any dog walking or dog/cat sitting needs. I will always make sure to ask as many questions as needed to ensure that I fully understand what needs your pets has, especially if they have any quirks or extra help required and will follow it to the exact requirements. My goal is for you to be completley stress free when your pet is in my hands so you can relax and not have to worry at all!

About: Hello there! 👋🏻 I absolutely love being around animals and have lots of experience caring for dogs for friends and neighbours — something I genuinely enjoy. 🐾 I know every dog has their own personality, routine and little quirks, so I’ll always follow your preferences when it comes to feeding, walks, playtime and anything else that helps them feel happy and settled. I only take one dog-sitting booking at a time, which means your fur baby will get our full care and attention while they’re with us. We’re a pet-loving family, and my daughter especially loves getting involved with games of fetch, walks, playtime and, of course, plenty of cuddles! It means your fur-baby gets lots of interaction, attention and exercise, while feeling like part of the family. ❤️ We also have a lovely 4-year-old Frenchie, who is my partner’s dog and occasionally comes to stay with us. He has a wonderfully easy-going temperament and is gentle, friendly and kind-natured. If your doggy enjoys the company of other dogs and loves to play, they’ll happily have a little playmate when they’re here too. 🐶🐾 Whether your fur-baby loves being out on long walks, playing all day or simply curling up for a cuddle, I’ll make sure they feel safe, relaxed and cared for as if they were our own I’ll also send you regular photos, videos and updates, so you can relax and enjoy your time away knowing your baby is happy, loved and in good hands. 🐶💕 I’m also fully insured and pet first aid trained, so you can relax knowing your dog is in safe and caring hands. 🐾❤️ My schedule is currently very flexible, so I have plenty of time to give your dog lots of attention and company. Our day can start with morning cuddles followed by a lovely walk, then home for food and some relaxing time. Later we’ll head out for another walk, with plenty of playtime, attention and cuddles in between. I’m always happy to follow your dog’s normal routine so they feel settled and at home 🏡❤️ I only take one booking at a time, so your dog will receive my full care and attention. I’m fully insured and qualified in canine first aid, giving you extra peace of mind while your dog is in my care. I’ll always follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, treats, medication and their usual routine. Most importantly, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy and at home, with plenty of playtime, attention and cuddles 🐾🐶
About: Hi! I’m a Sidcup based dog lover who enjoys spending time outdoors and caring for animals. I have experience looking after dogs of different temperaments, including those who are energetic, a little anxious, or just love a good long walk. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I always aim to create a calm, safe, and happy environment for them. I walk an average of 15k steps daily, so your dog will get plenty of exercise, fresh air, and attention. Whether it’s a relaxed stroll or a more active walk, I tailor it to your dog’s needs. I’m reliable, attentive, and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you always feel reassured. I’d love to meet your dog and make sure they’re well cared for while you’re busy! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as I already walk regularly each day and enjoy spending time outdoors. I have a flexible schedule around my work, which allows me to be available for morning, lunchtime, and evening walks, as well as drop-in visits. I’m also available on weekends and can accommodate regular bookings or last-minute requests where possible. I prioritise being reliable and consistent, so pet care is something I intentionally plan into my week rather than fitting it in last minute. I always try to keep pets as comfortable and relaxed as possible by sticking closely to their usual routine. In a pet owner’s home, I follow any instructions carefully whether that’s feeding schedules, walk preferences, medication, or just the little things your pet is used to. For walks, I make sure dogs get the right level of exercise depending on their energy and personality, and I always keep them safe and supervised. For cats and other pets, I take a calmer approach, giving them space while still making sure they’re well cared for, fed, and have a clean environment. If I’m caring for pets in my own home, I create a calm, safe space where they can settle in comfortably and feel at ease. I keep things clean, secure, and give them plenty of attention and reassurance. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos, so you always know how your pet is doing and can feel completely at ease while you’re away.

About: Hi! I’m Katie, a lifelong animal lover with over 10 years of experience caring for dogs and a life time of cats. I’m currently training to become a professional dog groomer so I have extra knowledge about animal care, handling and comfort. I love spending time walking, playing and making pets feel safe and happy while their owners are away. Your furry friends will get plenty of attention and love during their stay with me! Currently I do have a week day office job from 8am till 5pm but will be available after 5pm until 7am and available on weekends. I train as a dog groomer on Saturdays sometimes but only for a few hours and I can either take the dog to the grooming parlour or my parents will be home during the weekends. I will always make you aware if I cannot be with the dog for the entire duration of the stay. I have a big fenced garden and 2 dogs here. They reside In the house with my parents whereas I sleep in the annex. I have enough room to crate the dog if that is requested in the annex but also very happy to share the sofa for some snuggles instead! Our dog Hudson loves other dogs so if it’s okay with you then I can let Hudson come in too!
“Marina looked after our cat during our holidays so, we could enjoy ourselves a lot because she looked after him so well. She sent us pictures every day. Wolfie suffers when we travel as he is afraid of strangers, but Marina was so sweet to him that upon our return, we found him healthy and de-stressed (he often loses a lot of hair when we are away for extended periods). I highly recommend Marina as a pet sitter, and we will repeat her service.”

About: From a very young age, dogs have been part of my life. My family became part of the guide dog community and through the experience of training several puppies I gained the knowledge of working with amazing dogs who went on to help people and raise future guide dogs prospects! I am currently the owner of an 9 year old Rescue Golden Retriever. He is such an amazing dog and I adore him. Every day I analyze his behavior, making sure he is comfortable, dynamically sound, and has time to exercise outside the home to meet his psychological and physiological needs. When caring for someone else's dog, I treat them with respect and give them space if necessary as well as assess their behavior constantly, making sure they are content and happy with the time spent with me. We can discuss any requirements needed for the walk, or any training that I should encorporate with them. Photos and videos will be provided along with frequent updates throughout our walk! We live local to many of England's well known parks: Danson, Knolle, Lullingstone & Peckham Park. These terrains allow dogs plenty of mental stimulation and exercise. For returning dogs we will vary this, as there are local woods and other lovely areas, as well as quiet fields for those who are more temperamental and love space. I am working as a part of a veterinary specialist team with my own business and treatments - if you would like to see my business and what I get up to feel free to check out .Therapeutic massages can be integrated at an extra cost 😊

About: I’ve had two family dogs and my daughter adores them, but my wife is scared of them so we walk dogs to give my daughter the next best thing to having one. We will walk a dog for up to an hour one day at the weekend, hopefully between various weekend activities on Saturday or Sunday we can find a time to suit all. We will keep the dog on a lead but into parks and avoid only going on roads. Hopefully there are lots of fun filled adventures on our journeys.
“Ronnie was fantastic with my two corgis. They both warmed up to her straight away, which says a lot! I felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands. I'd happily book her again and highly recommend her. 🐶💕”

About: My mum and I have had pets in our lives for as long as I remember. Growing up around animals was fantastic and I'm grateful to my mum that I was able to do so. Currently my mum has 2 dogs, 2 cats and a pond full of fish! I now live in a flat and can't keep pets and I work in the city a few times a week but between my mum and I, we have full availability and would love the chance to take care of other pets! I have also been cat sitting for a friend for the last couple of years and regularly stay at his while he goes on holiday. I’m currently on gardening leave so have plenty of spare time before starting a new role! Happy to stay in or drop in several times a day, whatever is needed! I’m always clean and discrete, if I were to visit your home or stay, you’d almost never know I was there (sometimes I will leave it cleaner than when I arrived). I will make sure water is changed, food is out, snacks are given and most of all playtime is enjoyed!

“Faye was absolutely wonderful with our 14 year old ? girl! I was very hesitant to leave her with a sitter as she had never been left with anyone before. Faye sent me very frequent updates, I loved seeing how well my dog had settled in and how pampered she was. If I could give Faye more than 5 stars I would! Thank you for everything ?”
About: I’ve grown up with dogs in my family and love looking after them for family and friends. My experience is mainly with small to medium dogs but I’ve also looked after friends dogs before who are bigger (Labrador size). My family have also had rescue dogs so I have experience with dogs who are a bit more nervous or shy. I’m 29 years old, work in the public sector and I currently work full time but I work from home at least two/three days a week. I’m active and like going out for a long walk in my lunch break, before work or after work. My job is also flexible so I can take breaks as and when I need to. I have a fenced garden and do let dogs sit on the furniture (my dogs used to have blankets they would sit on). Always access to fresh water and treats (depending on the owners preference). Lots of cuddles too throughout the day!

Jessica was wonderful with Nala. She arrived exactly on time, followed everything I'd asked to the letter, and sent lovely photos and a proper update so I knew exactly how the visit had gone. It's clear she genuinely adores animals — Nala loved her 💛 Communication was easy from start to finish and she put my mind completely at rest. I'd book her again without hesitation and can't recommend her highly enough. Thank you, Jessica!

Freya arranged a meet and greet the day before, which I really appreciated as one of my dogs can be quite excitable and I was feeling a bit worried. She was friendly, reassuring, and easy to communicate with, which helped put me at ease. Freya asked lots of good questions to help understand my dogs and clearly cares about their wellbeing. While more energetic dogs can be a bit of a handful, she remained calm when handling the situation. Overall, a positive experience, and I will definitely be booking again with Freya.

Rhiannon was absolutely wonderful you could see she really cared for my little boy Patch I wouldn’t hesitate to use Rhiannon again if I needed a sitter I found her to be a real gem just what I was looking for I would recommend Rhiannon to anyone thank you for taking great care of Patch
Rebooked with Araceli for a weekend away from the house and our darling boy Cookie was very happy to see her! Araceli sent us pictures, updates, and stayed on top of communication the whole time so we didn’t worry. Won’t be looking for other people now that I know she’s PERFECT for the job.

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
