Care & Cuddles whilst you’re away
I’m a true animal lover who grew up with beagles, and have house sat for all kinds of dogs and cats, so I understand first-hand that every animal has their own personality, quirks and needs. Some of my pets have been challenging at times, but they’ve taught me how important patience, understanding and building trust can be. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs, from huge Great Danes and energetic Huskies to Pitbulls, Staffies, Golden Retrievers, tiny 16-week-old puppies and cheeky rescue Beagles with a serious eye for picnics! I’ve also cared for cats, rabbits, parrots, Guinea pigs, chickens, horses and a host of other animals, and I’m happy adapting to each pet’s individual routine. For the past few years I’ve been regularly house sitting through another platform, so while I’m new to Rover, I’m definitely not new to house sitting or caring for animals. I’m responsible, tidy and respectful of people’s homes, and I understand how important it is to leave your home safe and cared for as well as keeping your pet happy. Whether your pet needs long walks, playtime, medication, extra patience, cuddles or simply someone to stick closely to their normal routine, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, loved and well cared for while you’re away in their own space. P.s I’m also happy to take on longer house sits, including extended stays over the Christmas and New Year period. I’m flexible with dates and would be happy to discuss longer bookings with owners.

Safety, trust & environment
When I’m caring for pets in their own home, my priority is to keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible for them. I follow their normal routine as closely as I can, including feeding times, walks, playtime, medication and bedtime routines. I know that being in their own home can be especially comforting for pets while their owners are away. I’m also very respectful of the home I’m staying in. I’m tidy, clean up after myself and the pets, and treat every home with the same care and respect I would give my own. I’m mindful of things like keeping doors and gates secure, following any house instructions carefully and making sure pets are safe and comfortable. I’m happy to spend lots of time with pets throughout the day, and I’ll adapt to their individual personality, whether they’re energetic and want lots of walks and play, elderly and need a slower pace, nervous and need patience, or independent and simply want someone nearby. I also like to keep owners reassured while they’re away, and I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing. My goal is for you to come home to a happy, settled pet and a home that has been looked after just as carefully as they would have looked after it themselves. 🐾

Schedule
I’m an actress and freelancer, which gives me a very flexible, home-based schedule, so pet care fits naturally into my everyday routine. As an actress, auditions are now generally self-tape auditions, meaning I can film from home and don’t need to leave the house for auditions. If I do book acting work, I typically have weeks or even months of notice, allowing me to plan carefully around any pet-care commitments. Alongside acting, I tutor GCSE English Literature, Maths and Science over Zoom, and I also upcycle and resell clothes, all of which I can do from home and schedule flexibly. This means I can work my day around a pet’s usual routine rather than expecting them to fit around mine. I’m able to adjust my schedule to make sure pets get the attention, walks, company and care they need, and I’m very conscious that some animals are happiest when their normal routine is maintained. I particularly love house sitting because I can genuinely be present and make a pet feel like they have someone around while their owners are away.
