“Sherlock has stayed with Arpana a few times over the past couple of weeks while we had lots of family visiting for a wedding. We’ve never really felt comfortable leaving Sherlock before, but after seeing Arpana’s profile and how much of a dog lover she is, we decided to give it a try — and we’re so glad we did. From the very first meeting, Sherlock took to Arpana and her family straight away. She kindly welcomed him into her home when we dropped him off, and it was clear how dog-friendly and welcoming the environment was. Each time we brought him back, he would pull eagerly on his lead and sniff his way right up to the door, excited to see them again. A big part of that is down to her children, who clearly adore dogs and were wonderful with Sherlock — he had the best time playing, especially with her daughter. He always came home tired out, but in the happiest way. Arpana kept in touch with regular updates, which was really reassuring for us as slightly anxious owners leaving our dog for the first time. She was also very patient with our many questions and flexible with timing, which we really appreciated. Overall, the experience has made us feel so much more comfortable about leaving Sherlock with a sitter. About: I grew up with 4 cats, 20 birds and 1 huge dog. I have looked after small dogs like Cockapoos and big ones like Pomskys. Can provide basic training to pups and dogs. I work from home and my weekends are mostly free. This gives me enough time to look after dogs and other animals. I can take them on long walks either in the park behind our house, or around the lake in Danson Park. I have a fenced garden and our house backs onto a large open park. Dogs are supervised when in the garden and we have 2 pet cameras set up downstairs to keep an eye on our puppy 24/7.

About: Hi there! 🙂 I am a freelance artist with a passion for animals! I work entirely from home, with my own business, and therefore am available all day to tend to animals. I have a secured large 200ft long garden, safe for any escape artists, with lots of grass for zoomies, and a deck to bask in the sun. I leave the backdoor open in the warmer weather, so they can go into the garden at will. I also have multiple baby gates around my home to segregate animals if needed, to ensure the safety of all animals while under my care. There is an XL crate in my kitchen diner which dogs can have access to day and night, as well as 7 donut anxiety beds of various sizes in the kitchen, living room, upstairs hallway and bedroom. I have trained each dog I have owned, since I was a teenager, and have been to multiple dog and puppy training classes to educate myself on dog behaviour and new training methods. I am confident handling any dog, and enjoy teaching them new tricks! I have walked small dogs and large dogs, and an confident with both. I do have a vehicle with ample room for 4 dogs to go for longer walks too! About: We have a 5 year old miniature daschund who we rescued her when she was around 6 months old. She's now a very cuddly part of our family and a furry, happy, fully functioning member of her doggy community. We also look after family and friends dogs. Our care involves lots of cuddles and attention, we allow dogs in all parts of the house, including on the sofa! My wife and I have a miniature daschund so one of us is always home during the week. We both work in hybrid roles which makes this possible. Our jobs can be flexible, allowing breaks throughout the day to interact with our dog from playing to toilet breaks, plus a lunchtime walk. At weekends we tend to go on longer walks as a family once a day. We have a young daughter who loves dogs and has learnt to be very gentle but also playful with our own dog. However, we are always around to supervise interactions. Our dog's daily routine is wake between 6-7am for breakfast, walk at 12/1pm, dinner at 5pm and bed (crate trained) at 9/9:30pm, with carrot/dental stick snacks in the day. About: I have had pets in my life for as long as I remember. Growing up around animals was fantastic and I'm grateful I was able to do so. Currently my family home has 2 dogs, 2 cats, a bunny rabbit and a pond full of fish! I now live in a flat and can't keep pets but would love the chance to take care of others! I have also been cat sitting for a friend for the last couple of years and regularly stay at his while he goes on holiday. For the past 5 years, when i’m not at university I volunteer at a dog rescue centre every Saturday morning where I clean, care for and walk many dogs, ranging in age, breed and size. About: I own a 4 year old street dog who didn't even know his name when we adopted him, with numerous serious behavioural problems. However now with a lot of training, patience and kindess I have managed to transform into a cuddly, loving pet who I wouldn't replace for the world. About: I’ve grown up with dogs, never having known life without one! I’ve personally owned labradors and Great Danes, but also have experience with other dogs such as greyhounds and spaniels, along with a variety of cats! Additionally, I’ve had a host of other pets, including lizards, chickens, horses, and rabbits, just to name a few! I love animals of all shapes and sizes! Some of my dogs have been puppies, and some I have rehomed when they were in older age. Therefore, I have experience with dogs who may be more nervous or unsure. We’ve kept our dogs for their whole lives, and so I am very well equipped to care for the youngest pups to the oldest dogs! Alongside this, I have completed work experience placements with a canine physiotherapist, and have had hands on experience with dogs in need of extra special attention and support. I enjoyed seeing dogs thrive under this care. Every dog deserves love, and I can promise I can provide that by the bucketful. I will treat your dog as my own, and I can ensure your best friend will be in safe hands. I am a full time student, and so over the summer I have no regular commitments, and therefore I am free at almost any day and time. I can very easily drive, take public transport, or cycle to your home in order to provide service. Due to being a student, I am available for durations and times that many other individuals may struggle to provide. I will also be able to adapt very easily to any need to change schedules, or fit in with your own plans. First and foremost, I believe that it is crucial that all pets feel comfortable safe and happy when in a new situation. I am happy to do free introduction sessions, where you are present, so that your fur baby can get used to me as a new presence, and you can ensure that you feel comfortable with me caring for your pet, whilst also ensuring you have provided all information that I may need. I am used to anxious and shy pets, and so this does not phase me, and I understand that different pets may have different requirements or need different things from me as a caregiver. I will ensure that your pets comfort is always my utmost priority.

About: I have had pets in my life for as long as I remember. Growing up around animals was fantastic and I'm grateful I was able to do so. Currently my family home has 2 dogs, 2 cats, a bunny rabbit and a pond full of fish! I now live in a flat and can't keep pets but would love the chance to take care of others! I have also been cat sitting for a friend for the last couple of years and regularly stay at his while he goes on holiday. I’m currently on gardening leave so have plenty of spare time before starting a new role! Happy to stay in or drop in several times a day, whatever is needed! I’m always clean and discrete, if I were to visit your home or stay, you’d almost never know I was there (sometimes I will leave it cleaner than when I arrived). I will make sure water is changed, food is out, snacks are given and most of all playtime is enjoyed!

My family became part of the guide dog community and through the experience of training several puppies I gained the knowledge of working with amazing dogs who went on to help people and raise future guide dogs prospects!
