About: Ever since i was little girl, I've always loved and cared for animals and would often bring home stray cats and dogs to my parents dismay. Growing up, our family dog would be my confidante, best friend and a play date. I am that typical individual that would melt at a sight of a pet. I live in a flat on the 2nd floor. Unsuitable for a pet, but i am surrounded by friends and family who own cats, dogs and hamsters. So not short of company ; ) During lockdown, it has highlighted the importance of caring for oneself and to surround yourself with what makes you happy, which led me to request sabbatical leave for 3 months and give myself a slower pace of life. Over the years, i have pet/house sat for friends, but this is my first time to register and become an official pet/house sitter. I understand how daunting it may be to leave your cherished family member and home behind and so i just want to reassure you that they will be spoilt with love, fun, and lots of cuddles. I'm also more than happy to meet via video, in person or have a chat over the phone, as I know that this type of decision isn't an easy one to make. Look forward to hearing from you : ) I'm due to start my sabbatical leave from the 1st of September through to 1 of December 2021, therefore, i will have a lot of free time for downtime and lots of cuddles and earn a little something whilst enjoying the company of lovable pets I am often referred to as a life coach and personal security amongst friends and family : ) A genuinely warm, bubbly individual with a positive outlook. Also very reliable, trustworthy and honest person.

About: I've had a dog since I was 9 years old, I've had 6 dogs. Pluto, Pluto II, Pretinho, Zaya, Dior and UDI. Everyone spent their lives with me when I lived in Brazil. I have two years of experience staying with Max and Charlotte that you can see in the photos. I always stay with them on their owners' vacations. I have experience in documenting my time with the dogs. You can see in the photos. I'm Fábio Germano, I work as a community manager for a music streaming app. I've been working from home for almost 5 years. I have a very flexible job so I can do it from anywhere. I have hobbies like reading, exercising and walking. I also go to the cinema a lot and I love Pop culture. I've had a dog since I was a child. I've had 6 dogs in total, Pluto, Pluto II, Pretinho, Zaya, Dior and UDI. Currently I don't have it because I live in a shared flat. I believe that living with animals is part of a healthy life, so I started working as a dog baby sitter in my spare time. In the photos you can see Max and Charlotte, I stay with them every year during their parents' travel dates. I always try to follow a routine, such as waking up at the same time (in case the need is house in), food in the same the tour. If there is a park nearby, I walk twice a day. I also keep a diary and record the time of all activities. Time they woke up, first meal, time of 💩, time of the walking, second meal, and time of any medication. All this respecting the dog's will. ***Complete virtual diary of all the animal's activities. Wake-up time, meal time, walk and photo and video of the activities. See the photos.
“Rachel is just amazing! She looked after our two cats and I couldn't be more happy, we had updates, photos and videos with every drop in and the cats are super comfortable with Rachel including the anxious one! We will be definitely booking with Rachel again!! Thank you!!!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. Starting with my family pets and gradually helping friends and neighbours over the years. I enjoy every part of making sure pets feel safe, comfortable and happy. I love the outdoors and long walks. I have experience with pets of all ages, from young puppies to older dogs who require a gentle approach. I have always worked hybrid with 1-2 days in the office so looking to fill my working from home days with company, either by walks or doggie day care! My sales meetings are fit around my preference so really can make your little one my focus for the day I live in a doggie friendly building with pet spa and enclosed garden area. My flat is also near several parks which makes dog walks nice and easy!
“As in previous occasions, Abigail has been a fantastic carer for our two guinea pigs. Lots of updates and pictures, good communication, she is just perfect! More than recommended.”

About: I’m known as the animal lover amongst my friends and family, so I’m often asked to pet sit for them when they go away, which I adore. I am currently living between east and south Croydon, close to Park Hill Recreation Ground. Handy for dog walks! I predominantly work from home, so can mind dogs on those days I am home. More than happy to walk them 3 times a day if needed. I mostly work from home (I go to the office 1-2 times a week), so I can look after dogs at mine. I generally don’t have a huge amount of commitments on the weekends. I will always ensure the safety of your pet and keep an eye on them. I keep dogs on leads if they can’t be let off or not great with others dogs.
“Maximilian is a magician. My two girls are the most nervous little sweethearts but Maximilian has such a gentle nature they took to him so quickly, playing with him and sitting with him and having lots of conversations. Maximilian took great care of them and his communication was so great, I felt really comfortable having him in my home and with my angels. Will definitely book again if he's available.”

“Kelly is the first person we approach to cat sit when we go away, and it’s always great for our peace of mind. She sends videos and pictures of every visit and we always come back to a happy and well-fed cat (even if she’s a little grumpy for leaving her). Would recommend Kelly to anyone looking for a cat sitter in the area. ”

About: I’ve had pets for the majority of my life and have been around dogs since I was little. I love spending time with them and being outdoors in nature. I have voluntarily walked medium and large dogs for people who needed assistance with walking them. I’m more than happy to walk any dogs regardless of their size, temperament and training requirements. I also have a GSD Labrador mixed breed puppy who is almost a year old. I’ve trained her to an intermediate level of obedience, all from my own research! I’m currently working part-time as I have just finished university, so I have a lot of free time to care for animals big and small! I’m usually available in the evenings, but if you would like your pet cared for, please shoot me a message and I will try to make my schedule work around their needs! I am happy to provide for your pets needs in any way possible. For example, if you would prefer for a specific piece of equipment to be used. I have walked dogs on short and long leads so that they can have a bit more freedom but remain safe whilst enjoying themselves. I usually take them for walks at the local park and play with them however they prefer to. I also keep water, treats and poop bags on hand of course!
“Thank you for checking on Archie and thank you for the picture updates during the drop in 👍🏽 Good communication and looks like Archie enjoyed his time with Arianne judging from the pictures 🤗”

About: Hi there, I’ve been working as a veterinary nurse for the past 10 years, gaining hands-on experience caring for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, small furries, and reptiles. You can feel confident knowing your pets will be in safe, knowledgeable, and loving hands. As a proud dog and cat mum myself, I completely understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets, even for a short time. That’s why I always go the extra mile to make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m more than happy to send regular photo and video updates, so you can relax knowing your pet is doing well. I currently work from home and occasionally locum at veterinary clinics, which means I’m able to give plenty of time and attention to your fur babies. I’m generally home during the day, whether it’s for a drop-in visit or a walk. I understand that every animal is different, so the level of interaction will always be tailored to your pet’s needs — whether they prefer quiet companionship, extra cuddles, or engaging toys and puzzles. I always respect their individual personalities and boundaries. My aim is to build a genuine connection with both you and your pets from our very first meeting. I truly look forward to meeting you and giving your pets the love, care, and attention they deserve. If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to reach out — I’m always happy to chat. Thanks, Neeky Pet care fits naturally into my day as I work from home, meaning I’m around most of the time to give pets plenty of attention, comfort, and care. They’re rarely left alone and I make sure they have regular feeding, playtime, walks, and cuddles. On days when I locum at a veterinary clinic, this is always planned in advance so your pet’s routine is never disrupted. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing are my top priorities. I follow routines closely, keep environments clean and secure, and ensure pets are supervised at all times. With my experience as a veterinary nurse, I’m comfortable administering medication if needed and monitoring health and behaviour. I respect your home as if it were my own and aim to make pets feel relaxed, secure, and cared for at all times.
About: What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals, flexible schedule, and home environment that’s perfect for dogs. I’m a university student who studies from home, so your dog will never be left alone for long periods. I’ve cared for puppies before and I’m confident handling their energy and needs. I also have a quiet garden space where dogs can safely play and relax. While I don’t have formal training, my background in pharmaceutical science makes me attentive, responsible, and very detail-oriented—your pet’s well-being is always my top priority! Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine because I study from home most of the week and have a flexible schedule. This means I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, regular walks, playtime, and care throughout the day. I enjoy taking breaks from my studies to spend time outdoors with dogs or relaxing with them at home—it keeps both of us happy and active! Weekends and evenings are also usually free, so I can easily adjust to your pet’s specific routine or needs. In my home, I provide a calm and comfortable environment with access to a secure garden for safe outdoor play. I make sure pets feel at ease with a consistent routine that includes regular walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of affection. I always follow any instructions provided by the owner to maintain the pet’s usual habits and routines. Whether it’s boarding or daycare, I keep the atmosphere relaxed, clean, and stress-free, just like a second home. For walks, I choose safe, local routes and adjust the pace to each dog’s needs—whether they’re energetic or prefer a slower stroll.

Dog owners share their Rover experiences - Croydon
I am so grateful for the good fortune of coming across Charles on Rover. I hadn't left my boy Baxter for one night for over 18 months as he had gone through a battle with IVDD and the following rehab. As a result I was nervous and hesitant to even try and find someone but a work commitment meant I finally had to. With relatively short notice, Charles was incredibly helpful and accommodating to all the advanced / specific care requirements I explained for Bax (including his reactivity to other dogs during walks) and very kindly fit me in for two separate introduction meet and greets to help put Baxter at ease with someone new. Charles struck me as an extremely responsible, trustworthy, understanding person whose love of animals is obvious. During the 48 ish hours I had to be away, Charles sent regular updates and photos and I returned home to a perfectly happy, healthy, non-anxious dog. Charles has my highest recommendation for anyone looking for care for their dog and I will definitely look to book with him again. Thank you so much!

Tatiana was absolutely lovely with Lia. She was very sweet, caring, and attentive from the beginning, and kept me updated during the visit, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. When I got home, Lia was very calm and happy, and it was clear she had been well looked after and given lots of attention and affection. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her 🐾😊

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
