About: I’ve had my own staffy for over 10 years, been a cat sitter for many years, so many people tell me I will hardly see there cat but always manage to give them some attention which the owner is surprised and pleased at, I’ve walked dogs ranging from a toy poodle all the way to a pit bull mix. I’m currently working part time, so can always try to be flexible with your pets needs, I will always aim for your pets interests to be put first. Sadly I can not offer services in my own home. More than happy to offer service in the pets normal habitat for a stress free visit.

About: Hi! Lovely to e-meet you. I’m Michelle - I work full time but wfh in the week and am usually around most weekends. My sister has two dogs and I recently moved out and miss/crave the doggy company and cuddles! I have been around dogs for most of my life and I have to say, you really can’t put a price on the feeling of having the love and attention of dogs - it’s priceless. You’ll always find me on new walks or discovering local places, my perfect Sunday is a long dog walk, pub roast and movie night in. Having a companion to do this with helps too! Your pets safety is my priority. Security is not an issue and I place the well-being of your dog very high. I’m easy going and up for being flexible for your needs, whatever they may be. I am contactable at ANY time of the day - through any means of communication. You can relax whilst I provide daily updates and pictures to ensure your dog is being looked after as you would yourself. I can’t wait to meet you and your beloved canine companion this year. 😊 do message me with longer requests and I will see how I can accommodate! I work in the office a couple of days a week but when I’m home I have lots of breaks and time to care for a dog. I’m normally free all weekends and love walking and chilling. I have a fenced garden and patio with safety measures at my flat with safety as a priority. There are several doors to get in which means that it’s hard to escape.
About: For the past year, I have regularly cared for my girlfriend’s Cavachon, and also a small Yorkipoo called Jake, including walking, feeding, playtime, and following their daily routine. This experience has given me confidence in understanding a dog’s individual needs and providing safe, reliable, and loving care. Although I’m new to pet sitting professionally, I will treat every dog as if they were my own and always ensure they are happy, comfortable, and well looked after. Happy to accept same day bookings where possible *Please check my schedule which I update regularly, I work shifts so will update 2 months in advance on rover calendar* Prices low to help build up experience! I work for the NHS and work a rotating shift pattern. Usually meaning I do a run of 4 shifts with 5 days off. During my 5 days off I am able to host, dog walk and board as required. I have my own large flat which is safe and the property is fenced and gated. Pets are able to be on the furniture and in/on the bed. My flat is always tidy and I treat people’s homes in the same manner.
“Vera is lovely and clearly a doggy person. Came home this morning to a very calm and happy doggy. Vera's energy is very calm which my large puppy needs. Would definitely recommend her services”

About: Hi there, I’ve been working as a veterinary nurse for the past 10 years, gaining hands-on experience caring for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, small furries, and reptiles. You can feel confident knowing your pets will be in safe, knowledgeable, and loving hands. As a proud dog and cat mum myself, I completely understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets, even for a short time. That’s why I always go the extra mile to make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m more than happy to send regular photo and video updates, so you can relax knowing your pet is doing well. I currently work from home and occasionally locum at veterinary clinics, which means I’m able to give plenty of time and attention to your fur babies. I’m generally home during the day, whether it’s for a drop-in visit or a walk. I understand that every animal is different, so the level of interaction will always be tailored to your pet’s needs — whether they prefer quiet companionship, extra cuddles, or engaging toys and puzzles. I always respect their individual personalities and boundaries. My aim is to build a genuine connection with both you and your pets from our very first meeting. I truly look forward to meeting you and giving your pets the love, care, and attention they deserve. If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to reach out — I’m always happy to chat. Thanks, Neeky Pet care fits naturally into my day as I work from home, meaning I’m around most of the time to give pets plenty of attention, comfort, and care. They’re rarely left alone and I make sure they have regular feeding, playtime, walks, and cuddles. On days when I locum at a veterinary clinic, this is always planned in advance so your pet’s routine is never disrupted. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing are my top priorities. I follow routines closely, keep environments clean and secure, and ensure pets are supervised at all times. With my experience as a veterinary nurse, I’m comfortable administering medication if needed and monitoring health and behaviour. I respect your home as if it were my own and aim to make pets feel relaxed, secure, and cared for at all times.
“Maximilian is a magician. My two girls are the most nervous little sweethearts but Maximilian has such a gentle nature they took to him so quickly, playing with him and sitting with him and having lots of conversations. Maximilian took great care of them and his communication was so great, I felt really comfortable having him in my home and with my angels. Will definitely book again if he's available.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs for over 20 years. I am a huge dog lover and I’m considering getting my own soon. I would love to help out with boarding, walks, checking in and doggy day care in Croydon and the surrounding area. I love walking and regularly go out walking during the day anyway, so would love to do this with your dog. I live next to a park and regularly go to other parks in the area as well that I can take your pet to. I will give them so much love and attention when they stay with me! I’ve looked after numerous dogs on Borrow My Doggy and often look after my friends dogs and cats as well. I work from home the majority of the week and can be flexible around a dog visit or boarding. I work from home 4 days a week, normally Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I’m often around on weekends as well so can be flexible. I have a one bed flat in Croydon that is very safe for animals. I live right next to a park so would take them out regularly and love going for long walks anyway.
About: I’ve always had a very special connection with animals. I had my own pet for many years, so I understand how much they become part of the family and how important it is to know they’re safe and well cared for when you can’t be there. I also have experience looking after pets for family members, including feeding, keeping them company, playing with them and making sure their usual routine is followed. I’m patient and attentive, and I understand that every pet has their own personality, habits and boundaries. I’m very responsible and detail-oriented, and I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully. I want pets to feel comfortable and relaxed with me, while giving their owners the reassurance that they’re in safe hands. I’m also happy to send photos and updates so you can see how your pet is doing while you’re away. I’m self-employed, which gives me some flexibility to fit pet care around my weekly schedule. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits and pet sitting depending on the day and time. I always make sure I have enough time for each booking, so your pet gets my full attention without being rushed. I understand how much trust it takes to let someone into your home. I’m self-employed and have worked with private clients in London for several years, so I’m very used to being trusted in clients’ homes and I take that responsibility seriously. When caring for your pet, I’ll follow their usual routine and your instructions carefully, including feeding, walks and any specific needs or preferences. I’ll always respect your home and leave everything clean and tidy. I’m also happy to send photos and updates so you know your pet is safe and happy.
About: I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud owner of my Whippet, Sparkle. Having my own dog has given me plenty of hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding, playtime, routines and, most importantly, understanding each dog’s individual personality and needs. I’d love to welcome other friendly dogs and give them a comfortable, caring and relaxed home away from home, while also giving Sparkle some new friends to spend time and play with. I’m available for pet sitting and boarding mainly on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, which means I can dedicate plenty of time and attention to the dogs staying with me. Weekends allow for regular walks, playtime in the garden, lots of company and a relaxed routine alongside my own Whippet, Sparkle. I live in a comfortable home with a large private garden, giving dogs plenty of space to play, explore and relax. Sparkle is a friendly Whippet who would love some canine company. I’ll always follow each owner’s feeding, walking and care instructions and make sure their dog feels safe, settled and at home. I’m also happy to adapt the routine depending on each dog’s personality, energy level and individual needs.
About: I grew up having various pets, including a family dog, from a young age. My career held me back from owning my own dog until my working life changed pre-pandemic, which is when I started adding dogs to my family to help satisfy my love of dogs. My first dog is a Weimaraner who came to us as a puppy. After socialising and training him myself, from 8 weeks old, I added a Doberman to our family. She was rescued in 2022 after being handed into a dog pound, and after over coming some expected issues, she settled into my family perfectly with all family members and our resident dog. Unfortunately, in May 2026, she unexpectedly passed away. Friends, family and neighbours often rely on me to help look after and train their own dogs, so I can confidently say i can handle any dog, regardless of breed or size. I would love to add more dogs to my family but practicality and cost won't allow me to, so, with my sensible head on, I'm offering to look after others dogs so whilst allowing others to have confidence that their dog is well looked after whilst they are away from home, I also get my dog fix 😁 I am an emergency foster for a breed specific rescue, so do sometimes have another dog in my residence. I've attended various online dog training courses including dog first aid. To make sure your dog gets the full attention it deserves, we only walk 2 dogs at any one time, unless we are attending a private secure location. Sole dog walking is available if required and we welcome reactive or nervous dogs. We dont discriminate against breed or size. If you are after someone confident with your dog who is reliable and able to follow your requirements needs when it comes to taking care of your dog, please do reach out. Please note, we would always do a meet and greet before confirming any bookings. I work from home so am flexible with bookings that work around my diary. This makes me available practically 24-7, as long as my diary allows. I have ample space in my home, but your dog MUST be acquainted with my resident dog before this can happen. My own dog is crate trained, although mainly sleeps in his bed. We have a room specific for the dogs if needed, and the outside space has a full walled back garden
About: What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals, flexible schedule, and home environment that’s perfect for dogs. I’m a university student who studies from home, so your dog will never be left alone for long periods. I’ve cared for puppies before and I’m confident handling their energy and needs. I also have a quiet garden space where dogs can safely play and relax. While I don’t have formal training, my background in pharmaceutical science makes me attentive, responsible, and very detail-oriented—your pet’s well-being is always my top priority! Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine because I study from home most of the week and have a flexible schedule. This means I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, regular walks, playtime, and care throughout the day. I enjoy taking breaks from my studies to spend time outdoors with dogs or relaxing with them at home—it keeps both of us happy and active! Weekends and evenings are also usually free, so I can easily adjust to your pet’s specific routine or needs. In my home, I provide a calm and comfortable environment with access to a secure garden for safe outdoor play. I make sure pets feel at ease with a consistent routine that includes regular walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of affection. I always follow any instructions provided by the owner to maintain the pet’s usual habits and routines. Whether it’s boarding or daycare, I keep the atmosphere relaxed, clean, and stress-free, just like a second home. For walks, I choose safe, local routes and adjust the pace to each dog’s needs—whether they’re energetic or prefer a slower stroll.
“Jamie has been amazing, he came to meet our puppy frankie before the drop ins. he was so easily contactable and so loving towards him! he even changed the time of drop in an hour before, very accommodating! will continue to use jamie as he is reliable and communicative. thanks Jamie!! x”

“I’m wary of who I leave my dog with because he’s a rescue who can be nervous but my dog absolutely loves Callum! Have rebooked with Callum several times now and would happily recommend them.”

About: I’ve had own cats my whole adult life. For the last 6 years I have fostered cats in my home for the RSPCA, over the summer I had the pleasure of raising 5 kittens from 1 day old, that was amazing! I’m very confident with cats and seem to have a natural way with all cat personalities, I’m also very confident with any medication requirements. This is a cat only home for boarding, no dogs I’m afraid. All kitties will be kept indoors at all times but are welcome to roam the house. If needed I do have a separate quiet room for nervous kitties. I also offer cat & dog sitting and dog walks. It is great to be able to look after animals in their own homes too. I’m very experienced with home visits and am trusted by many owners and their lovely pets. I work from my home and am here for all the kitties that stay with me 24/7. They will have all the care they need at any time of the day or night. This is an indoor cat house only. They will be very safe and welcome to roam the house and come for cuddles or there is always a separate quiet room for nervous kitties.
“Sibella did two drop in visits for us in one day. She was a great communicator and followed all of our care instructions without issues. We received photos and videos putting our mind at ease while we were away from our cat. We would highly recommend her for paying any pet a visit!”

About: I have looked after dogs and cats since I was young, and now have a little cat of my own. I also have experience with older animals and administering medication. I hope that you will consider me to look after your furry family members and I look forward to meeting your furry friends. Please use this code for first time pet owners to get a discount: CAITLS94036. I mainly work from home so my schedule is relatively flexible during the week and my weekends are free to do walks and visits whenever needed. I think it’s important to get as much information as possible about their regular routine so I can try to keep their days as normal as possible. I believe this helps a lot with any anxiety they may be feeling. Giving pets a little space especially when first meeting so they can approach me on their terms can help too.
“Our shy, indoor cat was very well looked after by Kelly. She sent us regular videos and pictures and updated us on her eating and all the little things we worry about when we’re away. We came back to happy, well-fed cat! Thanks Kelly! ”

“Rachel is just amazing! She looked after our two cats and I couldn't be more happy, we had updates, photos and videos with every drop in and the cats are super comfortable with Rachel including the anxious one! We will be definitely booking with Rachel again!! Thank you!!!”

Dog owners share their Rover experiences – Croydon
Lauren is amazing! She is helping me to train my new puppy and she’s so kind and comes with lots of enrichment toys and treats. She is really helping me to calm Lily down and has given me lots of tips, to help me integrate a dog into a household with autistic children. She’s a brilliant communicator too and so helpful, brilliant, punctual, calm and supportive in every way. Lily loves her coming round and is so happy with her so I cannot recommend Lauren highly enough!

David was great with Pebble! He updated us every day with details of how the day went including food intakes, the mood and everything else happened in the day with photos and videos. Certainly put me in ease that Pebble is with a caring dog sitter. Pebble had a grass seed stuck in one of his paws, David didn’t panic and took Pebble in with vet with no fuss. I am so glad we found David here and in no double we will book David again if we ever need his help in the future and definitely recommend him to everyone thinking about dog/cat sitting.

I am so grateful for the good fortune of coming across Charles on Rover. I hadn't left my boy Baxter for one night for over 18 months as he had gone through a battle with IVDD and the following rehab. As a result I was nervous and hesitant to even try and find someone but a work commitment meant I finally had to. With relatively short notice, Charles was incredibly helpful and accommodating to all the advanced / specific care requirements I explained for Bax (including his reactivity to other dogs during walks) and very kindly fit me in for two separate introduction meet and greets to help put Baxter at ease with someone new. Charles struck me as an extremely responsible, trustworthy, understanding person whose love of animals is obvious. During the 48 ish hours I had to be away, Charles sent regular updates and photos and I returned home to a perfectly happy, healthy, non-anxious dog. Charles has my highest recommendation for anyone looking for care for their dog and I will definitely look to book with him again. Thank you so much!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
