About: I’m a huge animal lover with experience caring for dogs and other pets for friends, family and neighbours. I’m responsible, reliable and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. I’m happy to help with walks, feeding, playtime and giving pets lots of attention so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits well into my routine as I have plenty of free time during the week. I work part-time on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, but I’m still able to plan my schedule around pet visits, walks and giving pets plenty of attention and care. When caring for pets in their owner’s home, I make sure to follow their usual routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. I’ll ensure they are fed on schedule, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive lots of attention. I’m happy to follow any specific instructions from the owner and keep their home clean and tidy while I’m there. I can also send regular updates and photos so owners know their pet is happy and well cared for.

About: I've been surrounded by dogs since I was 10 years old, and caring for them has always been a huge part of my life. I also grew up with a Miniature Schnauzer and now have a Pomeranian and a rescue Spitz, so I understand the love, patience, and commitment that every dog deserves. When I was younger, I also volunteered as a dog walker for a local animal shelter, giving me experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities. This taught me the importance of patience, building trust, and adapting to each dog's individual needs. As a dog owner, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. Whether your dog needs an energetic walk, plenty of playtime, or a calm, relaxed walk, I'll provide them with the same care and attention I'd want for my own. I'm experienced with dogs of different personalities and understand that every dog has unique needs. I'm happy to follow your dog's routine, including feeding schedules, exercise, and any special instructions, so they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind, knowing your furry family member is in caring, reliable hands and treated like one of my own. I'm currently between jobs, which means I have plenty of flexibility and availability for dog walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week. When I start my new job, I'll have a rotating schedule, allowing me to offer availability on different days each week. I'll keep my Rover calendar updated so you can always see when I'm available, and I'll do my best to accommodate regular walks and bookings wherever possible. I'm happy to discuss your pet's routine and work with you to find times that suit both you and your furry friend. Your pet's safety and wellbeing are my top priorities. Before every booking, I'll take the time to understand your pet's routine, personality, and any specific needs, including medical conditions, dietary requirements, and any behavioural quirks. During walks, I'll keep dogs on a lead unless you've requested otherwise and it's safe to do so. I'll tailor each walk to your dog's age, fitness level, and energy, while avoiding unnecessary risks and ensuring they stay safe and comfortable. When caring for your pet in your home, I'll treat your property with the same respect I would my own. I'll carefully follow your instructions, make sure doors and gates are always secure, and maintain your pet's usual routine to help them feel relaxed while you're away. For extra peace of mind, I also hold a valid DBS check and will provide regular photo and message updates throughout your booking, so you always know your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

Rebekah is certainly a cat lover. Our two cats are usually very timid, but over the course of the month their confidence grew and became friends with her. Rebekah was reliable and let us know how they were and also drew our attention to what had happened to one of the fences while we were away. We were happy with Rebekah and would recommend her.

About: I have been around dogs and various animals all my life. Growing up I had a German shepherd who I trained and cared for until she was 10 years old. Now I have a small Boston Terrier called Iggy, he’s the most social dog you’ll ever meet and gets along with anyone and every dog big or small! I love being around dogs and have had years of experience looking after many breeds such as; Corgis, Golden Retrievers, Labradors, Japanese Spitz, Cocker Spaniels, Dobermans and Pomeranians. I also have experience looking after different breeds of cats such as British shorthair and Persian cats. Your feline friends will be looked after with the best care! When looking after another dog I believe it's important to make sure they feel comfortable and to be patient with them before looking after any dog I'd like to meet them first with Iggy and let them play in an open space or in my flat to ensure they both feel comfortable together. It's important to let me know if you're dog is reactive. Please reach out to me for any other questions! I currently work from home and only go into the office once or twice a week. My working hours are Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm with an hour lunch so I am flexible on the weekdays and weekends too! I live in a spacious house with a big back garden that has plenty of space for your dog to run around! Close to Savernake park and Swinley forest

So happy with Lucy’s service. I needed a last minute booking for my dog and Lucy accommodated me, even squeezing in a quick visit to meet me and Pasha before she went on holiday. Lucy sent updates during her visit which was reassuring to receive as I was out the house for so long! My dog Pasha seemed to love their time together!

About: Hi, my name is Emily. I’m Level 2 Pet First Aid certified, and I have uploaded a copy of my certification to my photos. I absolutely love dogs...but who doesn’t?! I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and have always been the go to dog sitter for family and friends. I also have work experience in kennels, so I’m very confident handling dogs of different breeds, personalities, and behaviours. I’m doing this because I’m not able to have a dog of my own at the moment, so spending time caring for other people’s dogs is something I genuinely enjoy. I love getting out on walks, giving dogs attention, and making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m also happy to offer dog sitting, but this would need to be in the owner’s home, where your dog is most comfortable. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile, I really look forward to building a lovely relationship with you and your pups! Pet care fits really well into my daily and weekly routine. I’m available for dog walking and drop-in visits before work from around 6am and after work from 5pm onwards on weekdays. On Mondays and Fridays, I also have extra availability during the day between 12–2pm. I’m fully available on weekends, which makes me flexible for longer walks, multiple visits, or pet sitting. I’m happy to work around owners’ routines and make sure each pet gets the time, care, and attention they need. When caring for pets in a pet owner’s home, I always aim to keep their routine as normal and stress free as possible. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walking routines, medication (if required), and any specific behavioural needs. Safety is my top priority. I make sure dogs are walked securely using the correct leads and harnesses, avoid unsafe areas, and never let pets off lead unless explicitly agreed by the owner. In the home, I ensure doors, gates, and windows are secure and that pets don’t have access to anything harmful. I’m very respectful of both pets and owners’ homes, keeping everything clean, tidy, and secure. I also provide regular updates, photos, and messages so owners can feel confident and reassured that their pets are happy and well cared for. Building trust with both the pet and the owner is really important to me, and I always take time to get to know each pet’s personality and needs.

About: I’ve taken care of my cousins dog before and now I have a Cockapoo girl called Peanut! She is our first dog and we love her so much. I would like to help other people to take care of their dogs when they are away as I understand that is hard to leave your dog and I want to provide the best care, cuddles and play time! Peanut loves to run around with other dogs and it will be great for her to have a friend over. We have a garden in the house but we also live near Swinley forest, Lightwater Country park and Virginia water where we take Peanut on walks. After the muddy walks I always wash Peanut’s paws ( we installed a hot water tap in our garden) and wipe and brush her. I will make sure your dog is also clean and tidy to relax after the walks. I work from home every day and my partner is also working from home so your dog will never be alone! I will follow your instructions about feeding times and dog routine and as I said, your dog will never be alone in our house. I have a fenced garden and lots of space for your dog to play or chill. We can discuss about the level of activity your dog needs and the quiet time to nap.

We arranged for Zoe to do drop-ins for our cats after leaving it too late to book them into a cattery as all were full. Zoe was lovely - friendly yet professional. We were confident that they were in good hands and she kept us regularly updated with photos. The cats were happy and healthy on our return, and keeping them at home meant much less disruption for them. Wouldn't hesitate to use Zoe again.

About: Experienced and hands-on pet caregiver – from raising a puppy, rehoming a senior dog, to fostering a cat in need, your pets are in safe, loving hands! Since I work from home, I’m able to give your pets lots of attention and company all day long – they’ll never feel alone. I start my day early and can attend to early feeds and walks if necessary. About: Hi, I’m Claire and animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up surrounded by dogs, it felt natural to turn my love for animals into a career. I completed a Distinction-level Diploma in Animal Care at BCA College, where I studied Animal Biology, Welfare, Handling and Behaviour. From there, Paw Promise Pet Care was born. I’ve also completed training in Canine Care, Behaviour, Handling and Animal Law, along with Emergency First Aid for Dogs & Other Pets. These qualifications help me provide calm, confident care for every pet, whether they’re full of energy or a little nervous at first. I currently share life with two miniature dachshunds, Twix and Rolo, so I know first-hand how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care. That’s why I promise to treat your pet like one of my own, with love, patience, play and full attention to their individual needs and routine. Whether it’s walks, cuddles, feeding or special care, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, calm and cared for while you’re away. ✅ Diploma in Animal Care (Distinction) ✅ Qualified in Canine Care, Behaviour, Handling & Animal Law ✅ Trained in Canine First Aid ✅ DBS Checked (certificate available upon request) ✅ Experienced in Safeguarding & GDPR – your pet’s welfare and your privacy are top priorities ✅️Veterinary Receptionist With me, your pet isn’t just a booking — they’re family. Pet care is a meaningful part of my daily routine. I work part-time as a veterinary receptionist and veterinary assistant, which gives me valuable hands-on experience with animals of all kinds and helps me provide calm, confident care to every pet I look after. As I work part-time, I can dedicate my mornings to caring for the dogs in my care, whether that’s drop-in visits, walks or just spending some quality time together. I always plan my schedule around my clients to make sure every pet gets the love, care, and consistency they deserve. Having two miniature dachshunds of my own, Twix and Rolo, pet care is already a huge part of my everyday life, so looking after your pets fits naturally into my routine. It’s not just a job to me; it’s something I genuinely enjoy and take pride in. I’m available weekday mornings and evenings, as well as all day on Saturdays and Sundays, so you can book care that fits perfectly around your schedule. I don’t offer pet care in my own home, but I provide dog walking and pet sitting in the owner’s home, where pets feel most relaxed and comfortable in their familiar environment. When I’m walking dogs, I make sure the pace and route match their needs, whether that’s a slow, sniffy stroll full of enrichment or a more energetic adventure to burn off energy. I always prioritise safety, comfort, and fun on every walk. As a sitter in your home, I stick closely to your pet’s usual routine, feeding, playtime, toilet breaks, medication (if needed), and of course, plenty of cuddles and reassurance. My goal is to make each day feel as normal and stress-free as possible while you’re away. Every pet is unique, so I take time to understand their personality, preferences, and habits to provide care that feels familiar, loving, and tailored to them.

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 89% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
