About: I’ve cared for pets for over 10 years and have loved animals for a lot longer! We’ve had Farley since he was 5 months old so well versed with caring for puppies/adolescent dogs. Farley was a rescue so comfortable with training or special instructions. I’ve cared for both cats and dogs, however can only provide drop in care/ house sitting for cat care. For boarding or day care we have plenty of toys, puzzles and enrichment activities to keep even the most active dogs entertained. My partner and I both work from home, so are flexible and can stick to your dogs routine. It also gives us plenty of time to play and cuddle with Farley and your dogs! We live on a quiet road, in a house with a large secure garden. We have one dog Farley who is 2 years old and very active. We’re a pet friendly home and allow Farley and your dogs on the beds / sofa.

Chloe was lovely. Dealt with 2 complicated feeders and 2 lot of medication as well as our elderly, shy cat. Was great to get the photos and updates, and to know Pickle was being looked after. Will certainly ask Chloe to look after Pickle again!

About: Hello! I’m Amelie and I’ve been caring for dogs my whole life, I currently have two large dogs of my own, so I’m very comfortable handling big, strong breeds as well as smaller dogs too. Daily walks, feeding, playtime, and general care are just part of my normal routine back home and when I’m looking after friends and family dogs. I’m currently at university and i really miss being around dogs day-to-day, which is a big reason as to why I love dog care! I am flexible with timings and extremely reliable, also open to weekly arrangements. I have also volunteered/worked with a puppy training school class twice a week for one summer, where I helped support basic training, socialisation, and good behaviour. This gave me experience working with dogs of different personalities and energy levels.

Tracey was a wonderful and accommodating cat sitter for us! She followed all instructions for our two kitties and took loads of pictures along the way to keep us updated on how our babies were doing! ☺️ She is very communicative and flexible, would happily have her watch our kitties again!

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 5 years old and have shared over 15 years with my cat, so I truly understand the different personalities and needs of both pups and felines. Friends have always trusted me to look after their pets because they know I treat every animal like family. For me, pet sitting isn’t just a job — it’s something I genuinely love. Your pet will get patience, attention, and lots of affection, just like they would at home. As a full-time teacher, I have a consistent and reliable schedule. I’m available for pet care on weekdays after 5pm. Also available during weekends. During half terms and school holidays, I have much more flexibility and can offer daytime care, longer visits, and extended stays. Pet sitting fits naturally into my routine, and I love spending my free time caring for animals. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I care for pets in their own home so they can stay relaxed in a familiar environment and stick to their normal routine. I carefully follow all feeding schedules, walk routines, and any special instructions you provide. I also treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping it tidy, secure, and exactly as you left it. You can expect regular updates and photos so you always feel at ease while you’re away.

About: Hi, I’m Deborah. I live on a widebeam canal boat with my husband and son, and I offer reliable, calm, and attentive care for dogs and cats and other pets in their own homes. I’ve had animals my entire life—from a Springer Spaniel growing up to rescue cats, chickens, rabbits and more. I currently live with a rescued Bulgarian street dog and two rescue cats, so I’m very comfortable with different temperaments, including nervous or sensitive animals. I understand that every pet is different. Some want a good walk and stimulation, others just want a steady, reassuring presence—and I’m happy to adapt to what they need. Before this, I worked as an office manager in a school, so reliability, organisation, and trust are second nature to me. If I say I’ll be there, I will be. I’m happy to help with: • Dog walking • Drop-in visits • Feeding, medication, and basic care • Keeping your home secure and your pet well looked after while you're away I’ll always keep you updated with messages and photos so you know your pet is safe and settled. I offer flexible availability throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends. As I’m home-based, I can often accommodate daytime walks and visits, as well as regular bookings. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine where possible, and I always recommend arranging a meet and greet beforehand to make sure everything is a good fit. I only offer care in your pet’s own home, where they feel most comfortable and secure. Keeping to their usual routine helps reduce stress and ensures they stay settled while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing are my priority. I keep dogs on-lead during walks and I’m always mindful of their individual needs, behaviour, and surroundings. I’m respectful of your home and will leave everything as I find it. I’m also happy to follow any specific instructions you have, from feeding routines to medication or household preferences. I’m happy to provide updates and photos during each visit so you can feel confident everything is going smoothly.

About: I’ve taken care of and been surrounded by different types of animals from a very young age. My family have always had dogs and now I have 2 cats of my own. I loved walking my dogs when I was younger and bathing them, now with my own cats they are leash trained so I even walk them. I love all of it so much. It’s a part of my day to day life. I wake up cuddle with my cats and then feed their fresh food that I make for them and then make sure they have fresh water. Once all of that is done they usually go to sleep and I have time for myself and usually by midday, I’ll get my older cat ready for a walk and we go outside for about an hour and then it’s playtime with both cats, when I’m back home. I usually do a groom weekly, so I’ll clip their nails and use the spray cat shampoo and I’ll use that to make sure they aren’t dirty and they smell good. My highest priority of my week is definitely feeding my cats fresh and high protein food as well as making sure their gums and ears are clean. I have 2 very friendly Cats, who are great with other cats and dogs. I’m more than happy to crate your dogs if needed. My cats are very social and relaxed so they are happy to play or cuddle with new fur friends. I have a garden. I would prefer to care for your furr babies in there home due to them being in there comfort.

About: Dogs have always been a large part of my world and I do love them very much. My family are from the obedience show dog world, my mother is a dog trainer, behaviourist and breeder. She has competed for Wales at Crufts in obedience, and my Aunt once won Crufts obedience once outright (Bev Hughes, Woughstock Wisdom, or Jasper for short). We had a rotating cast of 7 border collies mixed with various pet dogs, well over 25 dogs over the years, five of them my own. Our pack has included poodles, sausage dogs, a Labrador cross, a Yorky, probably about 15 Border Collies + cross breds, GSD’s, Staffies, various others and finally the only current resident, a little male Jackawowa. We believe in the highest standards of care for all dogs, this means plenty of walks, plenty of play, and plenty of cuddles. I now offer professional dog walking and pet care services to the current generation of our four legged friends, this is my main work, so I am not on zoom calls all day and your dog will get lots of exercise on our regular walks unless they don’t want that. They will be looked after in our home, allowed on the sofa and treated as part of the family. So if you would like your dog to join our small pack for expert care on a temporary or permanent basis, get in touch. Please note: • While I’m happy to consider most dogs, I do not board, day care or group walk aggressive dogs. However, I can offer 1 to 1 walks for some smaller breeds and help with desensitisation. • I’m happy to refer you for larger—there’s always a way forward, don’t give up! • I do not board unneutered females more than four months past their last season, as my own dog is an intact male. If you’re unsure about suitability or have any concerns, feel free to reach out—I’m always happy to discuss your dog’s needs. (You can message or call through the rover phone App by clicking my profile/tap teh 3 dots at the top/Call Catherine.) Waggy tails, Cathy I like to give my own dogs two walks a day morning and afternoon/evening, and various games and breaks in between, I'll do the same for your dog, (unless your dog is elderly or it's too hot, or by other arrangement). Plus cuddles. For those dogs that like cuddles, lots of cuddles. Dogs are looked after in the same way as my own dog is, kept inside our house when not walking, and we have a secure enclosed garden. They are allowed on the furniture.

About: Hi there! I’m an animal lover who’s been caring for pets since I was 10—everything from fish and hamsters to cats, rabbits, and now my own sweet rescue dog, whom I brought over from China. I regularly look after my friends’ dogs and cats, and I have experience with animals of all ages, including kittens, puppies, and senior cats who need medical care. Motivated by my own journey as a pet owner, I’m here to offer a trusted, caring option for your pets while you take care of life’s other demands 😊 I work from home most days. I walk my dog three to four times a day, every 4-ish hours and feed her twice a day plus treats. Your pet is welcome to join our routine, and of course additional needs can be discussed and arranged. I live in a two bedroom flat with a decent size living room where my and my flatmate’s dogs play and nap usually. Apart from the routine walks mentioned above, we try to take the dogs to big parks on weekends for a longer walk and they absolutely love it. At night, they sleep in the room of their choice.

About: I’ve had pets in my family since I was young and am from a family of animal lovers! I am renting and so unfortunately cannot have pets of my own and so I relish any opportunity to spend time with animals :) I have a lot of experience feeding and caring for a range of pets from dogs and cats to small animals. People in my life have trusted me to walk, feed and sit with their animals whilst they were away. I have recently returned to Rover after a long break. I am available on weekends, evenings and some weekdays to walk, feed or sit with pets. I have some flexibility across the week and work from home regularly. I’d be better suited to someone looking for a sitter here and there rather than someone looking for a regular walker/sitter as my schedule is changeable and I’m in full time work. My job is pretty emotionally demanding and so sitting is something I do for enjoyment to connect with animals :) I will be very mindful of any instructions you leave for pet care and will follow your lead on this. I always endeavour to be respectful of peoples space and boundaries and so as long as I know the expectations I will provide great care to your pets and can’t wait to meet them :)

About: I’ve been fortunate to grow up with both dogs and horses, which has led to me taking care of friends animals often. I love the outdoors, so more than happy to go out walking with dogs. Being a uni student means I have a flexible schedule and can fit around you. I’m a uni student and have lectures that are 2 hours, with my busiest day being 4 hours, so can be around most of the time with your pets. I can do my uni work from anywhere, so need to worry about your pets. I’m happy to go out walking in whatever weather as I brought up walking my own dog and riding horses. I will ensure all pets are cared for in their own unique way and can make sure all their needs are met.
