“Vinny had a wonderful time staying with Andrea and Luka. Andrea sent regular updates and photos throughout the day, which gave me real peace of mind while he was with her. By the time I picked him up, he was tuckered out and ready for bed. I would thoroughly recommend Andrea to anyone looking for a caring dog sitter.”

“Sarah and her family looked after my miniature dachshund for a day and overnight stay, and were amazing! They took great care of her and kept me updated/ sent me photos from their day together. My little sausy looked so relaxed and at home with Sarah and I would definitely recommend & use again! Thank you Sarah!”

“A fantastic couple who provided a loving home for our lively puppy. Caroline provided plenty of photos and feedback . Lots of lovely long walks . I would highly recommend!”

“Amazing dog sitting for our highly energetic puppy. Such a lovely caring couple it was clear from the get go that willow was going to be well looked after. Throughout the few days, Debika & husband kept me well informed and sent loads of pictures. When picking Willow up she was so happy, it made the entire experience an easy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I would highly recommend and will be using again. Thanks 🙏”

“We left our Dachshund Colin with Rachel for the weekend, and she was amazing! Lots of communication and pictures, and Colin seemed very happy and well cared for. Would 100% have Rachel look after Colin again x”

“Runyu and her partner were wonderful sitters! They kept us reassured with regular updates, and Bailey was noticeably calm and happy throughout his stay. We’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for great care! 🙂”

“I cannot fault Helena's care of our corgi, Wolfie, when we left him with her overnight. She was most efficient with her organization, took pains to get to know him beforehand and sent us lots of pictures and messages about how he was getting on. She was happy to administer his eye ointment and gave him several walks. He came back full of beans and had obviously been well looked after. We would have no hesitation in placing him with her again. Julia”

“I cannot thank Chenyan enough for looking after Maggie so well and at such short notice. Maggie seems to have really enjoyed her first 2 nights away from home. We would definitely book again when we need a dog sitter in the future 😀”

“Rembrandt had a great time as usual. He really loves staying with David and his family. It's really reassuring to know he's looked after so well while we're away. Thanks!!!”

“Katie looked after willow for 3 days in her home and it was without doubt the best experience I have had on Rover. The communication and care that willow got was incredible and it was clear to see that Katie and her family are Dog lovers. This gave me complete confidence throughout the 3 days that everything was under control and willow was well looked after. I would highly recommend Katie and will be using again so this is an easy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: I've owned, looked after, and been around various dogs since I was a teenager (many years ago now), including terriers, GSDs, border collies, daschunds, and labradors. I have a fun friendly shepsky who loves being around other dogs.. big or small.. lounging about the house, chilling in the back garden, playing sniff hide and seek, fetch, or a walk through the woods or a run in the field. This is a family home, and I mostly work from home, so can only offer pet care on the days I am at home. The family have a friendly dog, so walks and doggy company is guaranteed, with 1-2 hours of exercise each day. To the rear od the house there is a good sized fenced lawned garden with plenty of shrubs, bushes, trees, and shaded areas, as well as access to downstairs rooms in the house. There are always bowls of fresh water inside and outside, as well as toys to run after, find, and chew. We encourage our furry friends to chill out on dog beds and rugs instead of (human) furniture.
“Yevheniia looked after Bobby for 9 nights. She did a great job right from the beginning by helping Bobby to ease in quickly, taking him for 2 walks a day, clearly fed him very well since Bobby came back heavier lol. Yevheniia kept updating us for Bobby’s day while we were away which was really nice. Bobby also made friends with her little Yorkie. Everything went smoothly and we are very happy with Yevheniia’s service. Will book her again for sure.”

“This is the third time I’ve left Teddy with James, and I honestly couldn’t ask for a better person to look after him. From the moment we drop Teddy off, I know he’s in safe, loving hands. James is incredibly attentive, sends regular updates and photos, and makes sure Teddy gets plenty of exercise, playtime, and cuddles. Teddy always comes back happy, calm, and clearly well cared for – it’s obvious he feels completely at home with James. It’s such a relief to know I can travel without stressing, because James treats Teddy like family. I wholeheartedly recommend James to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and genuinely caring to look after their dog. We’ll definitely be back again!”

“We have used Saskia a few times now and she is an absolutely wonderful cat and house sitter. She keeps you updated consistently, with a lot of pictures to keep you updated on your pet and does a fab job of looking after your home. An added bonus that she is super lovely! Would absolutely recommend.”

“Wing is always great with our cat Dante, plays with him loads and monitors his food and litter. This time she was taking care of our new kitten Byron as well and we felt confident leaving him in her care. She made sure both animals got lots of attention and that Dante didn't steal Byrons food!”

“Kin was amazing as always! My cat absolutely loves her. She is great at following all the instructions, kind and caring, and I am always confident my cat will be taken care of if Kin is in charge!”

“Lexa, my girl, absolutely loved you! I’m so glad you were there to look after her while we were away. Your check-in messages were such a comfort — detailed, thoughtful, and full of care. It really put my mind at ease knowing she was in such good hands. Thank you so much for your time and the love you gave to Lexa.😍☺️”

About: I have about a year of experience pet-sitting cats for my friends, and I take this responsibility very seriously. I am very comfortable with cats, understanding their unique behaviors and always respecting feline boundaries. Whether your cat is playful, shy, or independent, I know how to keep them happy, well-fed, and comfortable in their own space. Please note that I am currently improving my English, so I might use a translation app to message you, but I believe the language of care for animals is universal, and I am excellent at understanding their needs. I will treat your cat with the highest level of responsibility and care!

“Ming was great with our cat Michoo, she is normally a little bit shy but Ming made her feel comfortable immediately. Ming was great with sending us pictures, videos and updates and Michoo had a great time clearly! Thanks Ming, will definitely book again when we go away! 😊”

“Bibian nails what you want in a cat sitter, I trust my cat is being looked after well and the two seem to have a good bit of fun whilst I’m away. Would defiantly recommend.”

“Yenju was brilliant. Kept us updated with plenty of updates and our boy Major Tom loved her. She gave him plenty of play time and we’ve come home to an extremely happy cat!”

About: I’ve always loved being around cats and enjoy spending time with them. While I don’t have professional cat-sitting experience, I’ve been around cats and understand that each one has its own personality and needs. I enjoy playing with them, giving them lots of affection (if they enjoy cuddles!), and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’ll always follow your instructions carefully and treat your cat with the same kindness and attention I’d give my own pet.

“Tatiana came over for a meet and greet prior to our booking which was really helpful. She sent lots of photos and updates on Dante over the weekend which helped us relax knowing he was being well taken care of.”

About: With years of experience caring for dogs, I’m skilled at providing personalized care that suits each dog’s unique needs. Whether it’s keeping up with an energetic pup or offering extra comfort to a more relaxed dog, I know how to create a safe and happy environment. I’m experienced in managing different temperaments and providing both playtime and downtime. You can trust that your dog will feel loved and well-cared for while you’re away. I offer very flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs - whether it’s a one time sitting or recurring. I work from home almost every day and have availability most weekends. Your dog’s safety and wellbeing is my top priority. I’m fully committed to following any special instructions or routines you have, ensuring consistency in their care. With a focus on trust and transparency, I can update you with photos and messages so you always feel confident your dog is in safe hands.

About: I have owned cats since I was six years old and have rescued multiple cats, helping them recover from the trauma they had experienced. I always ensure that every cat in my care has their emotional and physical needs fully met. I believe that patience, consistency, and understanding are essential in helping cats feel safe, build trust, and thrive. Over the years I have learned that most cats benefit from having predictable routines so they know what to expect. I give them control over interactions rather than forcing contact and I will play with your cat when they are ready to do so.

“Thank you Ching for providing excellent care for our cat Snow Blue during our weekend away. The boarding services were first class, with clean facilities and caring atmosphere. I really appreciated the communication and updates on how Snow Blue was doing. Would 100% recommend and will be booking cat boarding with Ching again when we go for our next holiday. All the best!”

About: I always had a soft spot a soft spot for pets. Used to sit for a few lovely cats and I'd always try to learn their behaviour and personalities to earn their trust before pushing myself into their space. I would always constantly have them in the back of my mind throughout the day and tend to their needs. I work 5 days a week but always home before 5pm everyday. Unfortunately, I won't be available during the day but I never have anything on during the evening from 5pm onwards. I live in a 1 bed flat without a garden. Indoor cats won't find this an issue. There are no loud noises during the day aside from the occasional faint footsteps from residents upstairs.

About: I have three beautiful cats of my own, ranging in age from 6 to 11 years old, and I have many years of hands-on experience caring for cats with different personalities and needs. During the COVID-19 pandemic, my youngest cat unexpectedly had a litter of kittens after escaping before she could be neutered. Supporting her through the pregnancy, helping during the birth, and ensuring the kittens had the very best start in life before they went to wonderful forever homes was one of the most rewarding experiences I have had as a cat owner. I also cared for two cats belonging to my neighbour, who was living with dementia. When she was no longer able to care for them, we provided a home for one of the cats, while the other was carefully rehomed to a quiet, single-cat household that better suited her needs. I am confident in all aspects of feline care, including administering flea and worming treatments, giving medication, grooming, feeding, and maintaining litter trays. I understand that some cats can be reluctant when it comes to medication, and I am patient and gentle when handling them. One of my own cats has medium-length fur, so I regularly groom her to help prevent matting and reduce the amount of fur she ingests. Providing enrichment is very important to me. My cats enjoy a variety of toys and interactive treat games that encourage them to use their natural hunting instincts and senses. I am currently planning a cat wall in my home, as I understand how much cats enjoy climbing and observing their surroundings from elevated spaces. I always respect a cat's individual personality and boundaries. Rather than forcing interaction, I allow cats to approach me in their own time, helping them feel safe and comfortable. I understand that some cats are naturally confident while others may be shy or anxious, and I adapt my approach accordingly. Cleanliness and wellbeing are a priority. I am experienced with litter tray maintenance and ensure cats always have access to fresh water, positioned away from their food bowls in line with feline behavioural preferences. Above all, I treat every cat in my care as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away.

“This was Max’s first stay with Chenyan and Mae, and we couldn’t be happier. Chenyan was interested to learn about Max, so she can make his stay as enjoyable as possible. We received pictures and videos throughout the stay so we knew Max was in great hands. And last but not least, Max and Mae got on so well. It was lovely seeing them play so nicely together. Really great! Will definitely look to leave Max with Chenyan and Mae again.”

“I was very pleased with the care Rocco received at Amanda’s for his first day care. It was clear that she genuinely loves and understands dogs. When I collected him he was happy relaxed and clearly had a great play day. I also appreciated the regular updates and photographs which were reassuring to see him enjoying himself while I was away. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring doggy day care 🐶”

“Amazing care 😊😊 Great communication and lots of photos sent through the day where our pup looked really chilled and happy, and she came home tired after some nice walks. About: Dogs have always been a large part of my world and I do love them very much. My family are from the obedience show dog world, my mother is a dog trainer, behaviourist and breeder. She has competed for Wales at Crufts in obedience, and my Aunt once won Crufts obedience once outright (Bev Hughes, Woughstock Wisdom, or Jasper for short). We had a rotating cast of 7 border collies mixed with various pet dogs, well over 25 dogs over the years, five of them my own. Our pack has included poodles, sausage dogs, a Labrador cross, a Yorky, probably about 15 Border Collies + cross breds, GSD’s, Staffies, various others and finally the only current resident, a little male Jackawowa. We believe in the highest standards of care for all dogs, this means plenty of walks, plenty of play, and plenty of cuddles. I now offer professional dog walking and pet care services to the current generation of our four legged friends, this is my main work, so I’m not spending all day on Zoom calls ignoring your dog! and your dog will get lots of exercise on our regular walks unless they don’t want that. They will be looked after in our home, allowed on the sofa and treated as part of the family. So if you would like your dog to join our small pack for expert care on a temporary or permanent basis, get in touch. Please note: • While I’m happy to consider most dogs, I do not board, day care or group walk aggressive dogs. However, I can offer 1 to 1 walks for some smaller breeds and help with desensitisation. • I’m happy to refer you for larger dogs—there’s always a way forward, don’t give up! • I only board small females that are neutered or not more than four months past their last season, as my own dog is an intact male. If you’re unsure about suitability or have any concerns, feel free to reach out—I’m always happy to discuss your dog’s needs. (You can message or call through the rover phone App by clicking my profile/tap teh 3 dots at the top/Call Catherine.) Waggy tails! Cathy I like to give my own dogs two walks a day morning and afternoon/evening, and various games and breaks in between, I'll do the same for your dog, (unless your dog is elderly or it's too hot, or by other arrangement). Plus cuddles. For those dogs that like cuddles, lots of cuddles. Dogs are looked after in the same way as my own dog is, kept inside our house when not walking, and we have a secure enclosed garden. They are allowed on the furniture.
“Diana, Immy and Max were amazing! They looked after our young puppy really well and were super friendly and communicative. Max is our pup’s first doggy friend, and he was so gentle with her and taught her how to play despite her being so excitable. We received frequent updates with photos and videos throughout the day and and Di and Immy were very flexible and responsive. We will definitely be booking again in the future :)”

About: I grew up with family dogs and, for the past two years, have been raising and training my own Shiba Inu. Through this experience, I have developed a strong understanding of dog behaviour, positive reinforcement training, establishing routines, and providing consistent care. Owning a Shiba Inu has also taught me the importance of patience, clear communication, and adapting to each dog’s unique personality. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I work from home every Friday and am also available on some Tuesdays and Thursdays, which gives me plenty of flexibility to provide attentive care throughout the day. My workload is generally manageable, so I can spend quality time with your dog, including playtime, companionship, and regular walks during breaks. I’m also available most weekends, allowing me to dedicate even more time to your pet’s care and ensure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while you’re away. Whether caring for pets in my home or in their owner’s home, I aim to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I take the time to learn about each pet’s individual needs, including feeding schedules, exercise requirements, favourite activities, and any special instructions. I have a friendly Shiba Inu who loves meeting and playing with other dogs. For social dogs, this can provide an excellent opportunity for companionship and playtime throughout the day. Of course, I always introduce dogs carefully and make sure they are comfortable with one another. I provide plenty of attention, exercise, walks, and enrichment, while also ensuring pets have a safe and comfortable space to relax. I understand how important it is for owners to feel confident while they’re away, so I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos. My goal is for every pet to feel happy, secure, and part of the family while in my care.
About: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life. While I don’t currently have dogs of my own, I’ve spent many years walking and helping care for dogs through my mum, who is a dog sitter. I’ve had cats all my life, from family pets to my own, and I currently have four. I’m very familiar with feeding routines, litter care, medications, and understanding different cat personalities. I’m reliable, attentive, and treat every pet with care and respect, following their usual routines so they feel safe and settled. I work from home, or anywhere with a decent wi-fi connection and can be happily distracted by dogs and cats! I would work around the needs of the specific pet and accommodate their needs as required. About: Im currently getting everything set up and will be available for dog sitting from the 20th of September. I’m a university student so I have lots of free time. I live next to Palmer Park and do my daily walks there anyway! I get my fitness in and to be accompanied by a dog would be lovely. I have a car so I am able to get to homes and take the dogs for walks. I have grown up with my grandparents dogs and my friends dogs have experienced many cuddles, dog walks, dog feeds and nap times. I love learning new tricks for the dogs and making them happy. I have a flexible schedule, I study part time at Reading university so I am always free in the evenings, weekends and around my lessons in the morning and afternoon. I will make sure your dog gets the same amount of fork as usual and make them feel really at home. Hopefully keep them to their usual routine.
About: I’ve taken care of my own pets, my family members, friends and neighbours. I had my own big dog and so I know what it takes to take care of dogs. I am able to walk the dog frequently and for various lengths. I am happy to take care of dogs who might need some special treatment! I study mostly at home so I am able to be flexible with my hours. I already take about 4 walks a day so adding a furry buddy to it is no problem. I like walking in large fields which would provide the pet a lot of space to roam around. My dog lived with me in an apartment and then we moved to a house with a garden so that he can enjoy more of the earth and fresh air. I walk my dogs every 4 hours or more often if needed! I usually feed my dog once in the morning and once at night unless he has special dietary requirements when sick.
“I was really happy with the care provided by Cathy for Daisy. She is a difficult dog at times and very lively, but Cathy completely understood her and listened to all the info. Daisy came back looking really happy from her walk which I was very pleased with, and was a much calmer dog for the rest of the day!”

“Delci jumped in last minute for a dog walk, as I had to go to the hospital. She immediately agreed to do everything as requested and was very easy and kind to deal with. I‘d definitely trust her with my puppy again!”

About: Since birth I have always lived with pets. Fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats and dogs. From an early age I helped out with an elderly gentleman neighbour who walked dogs for cinnamon trust, I went on to volunteer at events to raise money for the charity. I rescued my 2 year old Jack Russell x English bull terrier and had her until the ripe age of 18. Since then I've always had pets and currently have a fun, playful cockapoo. I am very used to caring and training puppies as well as looking after dogs in their senior years. I understand the nature of dogs, when they need feeding, exercise. I've cared for dogs with extra needs, for example medications or hip issues requiring further assistance/lifting etc. I'm currently working part time from home. I have 3 boys age 7, 11 & 13 who are all huge animal lovers and brilliant at helping out. I am at home during the day, I take my own dog out for a long walk to the park and she gets an afternoon or evening walk. She has constant access to our fenced garden. The weekends we take trips to country parks so the dogs get to explore different places but I am completely flexible and adaptable to the dogs needs. Pets staying with me experience a home from home stay and are fully welcomed into our home and family life. They'd be treated as if they were one of our own!
About: I recently returned to the UK from the United States and grew up in Denmark, where I was surrounded by animals from an early age. I was also an avid horse rider, which gave me valuable experience caring for and understanding animals of all sizes. I have worked as a full-time professional pet-sitter in the US and have rescued and rehabilitated cats, helping them regain their confidence and health through patient, compassionate care. As a parent who has raised three children, I’m responsible, dependable, and attentive to individual needs. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust that your beloved pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I love walking in nature and enjoy getting to know the unique personality of every pet I care for. Whether it’s an energetic dog who loves long walks or a shy cat who needs a calm, gentle approach, I adapt my care to suit each animal’s individual needs. I treat every pet as if they were my own, providing plenty of love, exercise, companionship, and personalized care. My goal is to give both you and your pets peace of mind, knowing they’re in caring, capable hands. I have experience working with pets of all ages and have worked with senior pets needing extra care and attention. I’m currently available during the day time hours and I will accommodate your pet’s schedule. My hours are flexible in the day time hours. I will follow your instructions for pet sitting closely and make sure your pet feels very comfortable in my company. I will always be attentive and get a sense of what your pet needs to make sure all their needs are met at any given time.
“Ava and her partner did amazing job to walk Sandi. It is not easy to walk Sandi as he is still a puppy. They are very patient and thoughtful and I can tell Sandi had great time with them!”

“Laura has made my first experience with Rover a great One! Before I booked her for our dog’s first overnight stay with someone outside the family, we met up and had a walk together. Laura gives a very calm and confident impression. After our walk I scheduled a “dog walk” with Pepper, and she came back, happy and tired ( I mean the dog)”

“We left our Dachshund Colin with Rachel for the weekend, and she was amazing! Lots of communication and pictures, and Colin seemed very happy and well cared for. Would 100% have Rachel look after Colin again x”

“First time we have left Monty with anyone other than family. Bea was lovely and reassured us with regular updates. Monty seemed very happy and looked like he enjoyed his time being away. Thank you Bea.”

“Amanda, Trevor, and their family took exceptional care of our two dogs. They were communicative, kind, and very attentive to our pups throughout the two-week stay. Our large dogs each have their quirks, and it's clear that Amanda and Trevor are both very knowledgeable and compassionate in the way they cared for them. Any pup would be lucky to stay with them!”

“Diana made Mr P feel like a part of their family right from the first meeting. Their confidence and experience with dogs was evident and reassuring. He had a wonderful holiday and made a new dog bestie - just as we hoped he would. We'll certainly be looking to book again for our future trips. Thank you so much!”

“Natalie took care of Teddy over the weekend and did an amazing job. She is warm, professional, and clearly experienced with dogs. Teddy was happy, relaxed, and well cared for throughout his stay. Communication was excellent, and I felt completely reassured knowing he was in such good hands. I highly recommend Natalie and would definitely book with her again.”
