“Pongo has stayed overnight & gone for daycare separately. He always comes home tired & happy which is perfect 💚 I enjoy seeing the photos of his walks & him chilling around. They also catered for him when he was a little restless on his first night. Would certainly recommend 😊”

“Sarah is absolutely fantastic. My French bulldog Reggie is chaotic at times, but is brilliant with people and other dogs, has huge personality and I could tell he had the best time with Sarah. Really well looked after and lots of attention which is exactly what he looks for. I will most certainly be booking again.”

“This was Max’s first stay with Chenyan and Mae, and we couldn’t be happier. Chenyan was interested to learn about Max, so she can make his stay as enjoyable as possible. We received pictures and videos throughout the stay so we knew Max was in great hands. And last but not least, Max and Mae got on so well. It was lovely seeing them play so nicely together. Really great! Will definitely look to leave Max with Chenyan and Mae again.”

“Karen took great care of Farley, he loved spending time with Pablo and they got on so well together. She sent regular updates and photos, so we felt very comfortable. She also took Farley on a nice long walk - which he loved! We highly recommend Karen”

“Emilia is absolutely lovely and clearly a real dog lover. We felt completely at ease leaving our nervous rescue dog with her and she sent us some gorgeous photos too! Thank you, will 100% book again.”

“Whilst we were away Joanne fulfilled all, and more than we could have wished for. She prepared thoroughly before our holiday by spending time with Bingle (our dog) and fully gained his trust. While we were away she regularly communicated both through text and pictures. She also got on extremely well with our daughter who was at home to care for Bingle in the evenings. This was the first time we had been abroad and left Bingle. We were initially anxious about this but Joanne was so excellent that we lost all sense of worry about Bingle's reactionl. We could not be more pleased with Joanne's competece and professionalism.”

About: I've had dogs my entire life and have been around animals since childhood. Caring for pets has always been a natural part of my daily life, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them. Over the years, I've looked after dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities for family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers. Whether it's feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic care, or simply providing companionship, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I understand that every dog has unique needs and routines, and I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I have experience with energetic puppies, senior dogs, and dogs that need a little extra patience and attention. My goal is to give pet owners peace of mind knowing their furry family members are in caring and dependable hands. I work a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. Whether it's walks, feeding, playtime, or just keeping them company, I make sure they get the care and attention they need. I'm available most weekdays and weekends, and I'm happy to work with your pet's usual routine to help them feel comfortable and settled. Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I have had dogs all my life and understand how important it is to leave them with someone you trust. I have a secure fenced garden within the building where dogs can safely play and explore. I follow any feeding schedules, medication instructions, and routines provided by owners so your dog feels as comfortable as possible while you're away. If your dog is crate trained, I can accommodate that as well.
“We are very happy to have found Amanda and her family. Since meet & great they have always been super friendly and you could see that they like dogs a lot, which made us very comfortable to leave Paçoca and Lennon with them. We love the organization in asking for the vaccination card and with the form we filled out. During the day we received photos and updates which left us very relieved. We definitely recommend it and we will contact them again if we need it, it is important to have someone to trust to leave our baby’s 🐶”

“Great dog sitter, great communication before and plenty of photos and updates during the day. Could clearly see pongo settled easy and got a mix of chilling and playing 😆 He was so tired when he got home which is always a sign of a good day 😊”

About: I grew up with English Pointers, so caring for dogs has always been a part of my life. Since then, I've regularly looked after dogs for friends and family, caring for everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs. I'm a calm and patient person, which has helped me build trust with nervous or reactive dogs. I also live with cats, so I'm confident caring for feline friends too. As I work from home teaching English, my schedule is flexible, allowing me to provide plenty of attention, exercise and companionship throughout the day. I love being outdoors and, as a keen runner who grew up in Caversham, I know some fantastic local walking routes! I don't offer boarding in my own home, but I'm happy to care for your pets in their own familiar environment, keeping to their usual routine so they feel comfortable, relaxed and happy while you're away. I work from home teaching English online, which gives me the flexibility to fit pet care around my day. Whether your dog needs a lunchtime walk, company while you're at work, or overnight care in your home, I'm happy to adapt to their usual routine. My aim is to keep life as normal as possible for your pet, with plenty of exercise, playtime and attention. As I care for pets in their own homes, my priority is making them feel safe, relaxed and comfortable in familiar surroundings. I'll always follow your instructions carefully, from feeding routines and walk preferences to medication and house rules. I'm happy to send regular photo and video updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. Whether they love long adventures outdoors or a quiet evening on the sofa, I'll make sure they receive the care, companionship and attention they deserve.

“A very happy jasper, who bounded in. Two daytime slots at the last minute with early starts. So very grateful they had space. Very caring and gentle. Two gorgwous walks with charming pictures. The area is pretty and dogs get good execise off the properry. Clearly dog lovers. Thank you”

“Diana, Immy and Max were amazing! They looked after our young puppy really well and were super friendly and communicative. Max is our pup’s first doggy friend, and he was so gentle with her and taught her how to play despite her being so excitable. We received frequent updates with photos and videos throughout the day and and Di and Immy were very flexible and responsive. We will definitely be booking again in the future :)”

Katie was amazing with Skye! She took such great care of her, kept me updated with pictures and notes, and made sure Skye felt comfortable and loved. It’s clear that Katie and her family genuinely adore pets. She was also very kind to help with pick-up and drop-off, which made things much easier for us. Skye’s first 12-hour day boarding went brilliantly, and we came back to a very happy dog. Highly recommend Katie, I wouldn’t hesitate to leave Skye with her again ❤️

Thank you so much to Chenyan and Suki for taking such wonderful care of Nessa, our rescue whippet. We really appreciated the time and effort they put into getting to know her and understanding her needs, which helped her settle into their home smoothly. They treated Nessa as one of their own and did a great job helping her bond and integrate with their whippet, Mae. It was clear from the updates that she was happy, relaxed, and well cared for throughout her stay. We also really appreciated the regular and thoughtful updates, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Mae is very well-behaved, and we felt completely comfortable with the dogs interacting. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Chenyan and Suki, and we look forward to booking with them again in the future. 😊

Amazing care 😊😊 Great communication and lots of photos sent through the day where our pup looked really chilled and happy, and she came home tired after some nice walks. I had a problem with my car and Emily was really flexible with pick up times which really helped us out. Would really recommend and have already rebooked for more day care. Thank you! 🐶🐶

Juniper had a great time with Thalia! Communication was great both before and during the doggy day care, with Thalia sending lots of photos and updates throughout the day. She was also very accommodating when we were slightly late to collect Juniper. We would definitely use their services again!

Milo and Minnie had such a lovely stay with Joanne and Phanos! We were kept updated the whole time, which gave us real peace of mind, and it was clear they were in such safe, caring hands. We’re so grateful for the love and attention they received and it really showed, as they both took to Joanne and Phanos so well. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again. Thank you so much! 🐶💖

Thank you so much to Hannah and her partner for taking such great care of Nessa, our gentle rescue whippet, and making her feel right at home. We’re looking forward to her longer stay next month. We also really appreciated the photos and updates - it was lovely to see how much she enjoyed her walk and how well she’s settling into your welcoming home. Thanks again! 😊

My cockapoo has been going to Sarah for a couple of weeks now, and I couldn’t be happier. I really appreciated Sarah making time for a meet and greet, her communication is excellent, and I love receiving the photos of my dog having a fun time, and being well cared for, and treated as part of the family. My dog clearly loves going, Sarah understood her needs very quickly, and my dog was already excited to arrive on just her second visit, a sure sign she’s treated so kindly and part of the family. She has also boarded, and I feel completely comfortable that she is looked after and gets what she needs, and I have complete peace of mind when my dog is with Sarah. Sarah is kind, accommodating, clearly understands dogs, and it’s really lovely that her children also get involved with the dogs too. Sarah’s dog is also absolutely lovely, and a great companion. My dog gets plenty of attention, walks and snuggles - which is perfect for her. I would not hesitate to recommend Sarah for her excellent services. Thank you Sarah.

- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
