“Jessica and her uncle, Stewart, took good care of our rescue hound. The booking was very last minute, so I was very pleased when Jessica was responsive. Lottie spent the day in her care and I would have no hesitation in recommending Jessica, and would definitely use her services again.”

“Marion Was amazing Friendly and had a great location and a very calming and friendly manner about herself Monty loved being with her, that was plain to see Many thanks for your kind help Alsn and Monty x”

“Milo had a great time with Nathalia today, he got to play with her beautiful dog Juniper and was given plenty of care and attention. Nathalia even fed Milo his biscuits by hand when he was being a fussy little boy! He was all tired out when he got home so I know he's been well entertained and looked after. Nathalia is an absolute natural with dogs, I wouldn't hesitate to leave Milo with her again. Thank you Nathalia!”

“This was the first time and left my 10 months old Rottweiler with someone. I can't think of a better experience than the one I had with Joe and Anu. Extremely approachable and friendly, they care about Raya Asia she was theirs. They cared about the instructions I provided and went beyond. I left Raya with them all day and they were kind to send me pictures and videos of her throughout the day. When I picked Raya up, she was very happy and comfortable not showing signs of any stress. Thank you Joe and Anu for everything!”

About: Insured ✅ DBS check ✅ I have been caring for dogs and cats for most of my life, both as a pet owner and by helping family and friends with their pets. Originally from Greece, I volunteered with several animal rescue groups and have personally rescued and rehomed animals over the years. My love and compassion for animals have always been a huge part of who I am. I currently have an 11-year-old rescue dog who I brought with me from Greece when I moved to the UK. He has been my loyal companion for many years and has given me extensive hands-on experience in all aspects of pet care, including feeding, walking, administering medication, providing companionship, and maintaining consistent routines. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I know firsthand the anxiety that comes with leaving a beloved pet in someone else’s care, which is why I treat every animal as if they were my own. I take the time to understand each pet’s unique personality and needs, ensuring they feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for at all times. I have very flexible schedule with plenty of spare time to play with your fur baby and care for! I am able to do boarding at any time of the day with of course prior notice. I live in a 2 bed apartment with a balcony. My dog Snoopy is a senior dog who is a very friendly small size dog he gets along with all sizes of dogs and also love cats so your fur baby will for sure have a good company but if your pet needs privacy Snoopy will stay in the spare room 😊where he spends most of his time anyway.
“Emma was nothing short of fantastic! It was late notice and it was a long day as I needed to be in the city with an event after work. Great comms with pictures and Ronnie had 2 walks which was amazing. Thank you Emma!”

“James was kind enough to accept my booking last minute and what an amazing sitter he is 🥰 I was constantly kept updated throughout the day of how Milo was getting on and they were besties immediately. I will absolute be using James as a dog sitter again to look after Milo - a genuinely great sitter.”

About: I have always lived in a house with both cats and dogs and have enjoyed their company and every aspect of taking care of them since I was a young child. I have looked after dogs and cats of every single age and stage, so I am very used to understanding all of their needs. I am a stay at home mum in a quiet home of older children, so I walk dogs after I have done the school drop-off and before I do the school pick up. I’m usually in the house all day apart from brief grocery shopping trips out. Specialising in overnight Dog Boarding I previously worked for an agency for a number of years, and now I am an independent dog boarder. As a result I have lots of experience with dogs of all ages and I have experience giving medication, and various grooming needs, such as the funny job of wiping out the wrinkles of an English bulldog!

“Absolutely brilliant experience. I couldn't be happier! Kimberley and her partner were so friendly, caring, and made my fur baby feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. I picked up a very happy, relaxed pup who had clearly enjoyed the day. It was so reassuring to know my dog was in such safe and loving hands. I highly recommend Kimberley to anyone looking for reliable, caring dog care. We'll definitely be back!”

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life, and they’ve always been a big part of my family. For the past 15 years, I’ve cared for two wonderful Labradors who taught me everything about unconditional love, patience, and the joy dogs bring to everyday life. Growing up, there were always dogs in the house, so caring for pups of all ages and personalities feels natural to me. What makes me different is that I treat every dog like they’re my own. I know how important it is for your pup to feel safe, loved, and part of the family while you’re away. Whether that means long walks, playtime in the garden, or simply lots of cuddles, I make sure they get the same love and attention they would at home. My goal is for you to feel at ease knowing your dog is not only well cared for but truly cared about. I’m currently working part time, based at home so I’ll have plenty of time to be with your dog whether it be taking them for a walk or being there for a cuddle! I’m available for boarding all week including weekends. I have 2 children living in the home aged 7 and 4. They both absolutely love dogs and are excited to have other dogs to care for. I do ask that your dogs are used to being around children please. When caring for pets, my priority is always their safety and comfort. At my home, dogs have a cozy, welcoming space where they can relax and feel at ease — plenty of room to stretch, play, and nap without stress. I keep their routines as consistent as possible, whether that’s meal times, walks, or bedtime rituals, so they feel secure and settled.
About: What makes me different from other sitters is my calm, patient approach and my commitment to treating every pet like my own. I take the time to learn their habits, preferences, and quirks so I can give them the most stress free experience possible. I’m great with shy or anxious pets and always move at their pace to help them feel relaxed and understood. I'm working from home at the moment so I am always available to tend to your beloved pets and make sure they stay in tip top health and are as happy as they can be When your pet stays with me, they’re officially part of the family. Snuggles, playtime, and all. I set up a comfy spot just for them, keep their routine steady, and make sure they get plenty of attention (and maybe a little extra pampering). Walks, belly rubs, treats, cozy naps, i’m here for all of it! I keep things safe, clean, and fun so your pet feels right at home. In Your Home: When I come to your pet’s home, I slip right into their daily rhythm. I keep mealtimes familiar, follow their favorite routes on walks, refresh water bowls, tidy litter boxes, and give them lots of love and company. I treat your home with the same care I give your pets, leaving everything neat and peaceful. And of course, you’ll get plenty of photo updates so you can enjoy all their cute moments from afar. Wherever I’m caring for your furry friend, my goal is simple: happy pets, relaxed owners, and lots of tail wags and purrs along the way.

Sasha clearly received exceptional care and had a great time with the absolutely gorgeous Doodles . Nargis was incredibly thoughtful and Sasha had all of her needs met . I highly recommend Nargis and would certainly use her again if I were staying in this area again 😊

Ben is a great sitter. He looked after kola for us for a few days and he was very communicative throughout the day and kept us posted with photos and small updates which was great. We’ll certainly be using Ben in the future again and I’m sure kola is already looking forward to spending time with Ben again

It was amazing meeting Dmitri in Rover. My dog Buddy instantly warmed up to him and he took care of him really well. Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
