About: Hey, I'm Emily, and I've been around animals for most of my life. I completed a two year Animal Management course at college and gained lots of experience through placements at veterinary practices, the RSPCA, a riding school, an agricultural school in Norway, and conservation projects in rainforest environments across the globe. Alongside this, I also regularly care for pets belonging to my friends and family. I have experience with dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs with additional care needs. I have plenty of experience with dogs requiring extra care, as I regularly care for my parents Cockapoo with a range of health conditions, and my partner Alex's Dachshund who lived to 15 years old and required support with IVDD. These experiences have given me great experience and ability to adapt care to each dog's individual needs. We share our home with my friendly two year old Cocker Spaniel willow, who loves meeting and playing with other dogs! Alex and I both work from home, meaning your dog will never be left alone and will receive plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision throughout the day. Dogs staying with us can enjoy daily walks tailored to their needs, regular playtime in our secure garden and home, and lots of affection. We'll also provide regular photo updates, as I love capturing special moments and helping owners feel connected while they're away. I joined Rover as we have the time, space, and flexibility to provide a genuine home-from-home experience. We love welcoming canine guests, and our dog Willow is always excited to make new friends! ☺️ My partner and I both work from home, which means your dog will have company and supervision throughout the day and will never be left alone. Our flexible schedules allow us to provide regular toilet breaks, playtime, enrichment activities, and plenty of attention. We are available for dog boarding throughout the week and on most weekends. Daily walks are tailored to each dog's needs, with opportunities for exercise, play, and relaxation. We also have a secure garden where dogs can safely spend time outdoors. We understand that every dog has their own routine, so we're happy to accommodate feeding schedules, sleeping arrangements, and other preferences wherever possible. Regular photo and video updates are available to give you peace of mind while you're away. Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I live in a house with a secure, enclosed garden, and because my partner and I both work from home, dogs are never left alone and receive plenty of attention throughout the day. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, including puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with additional care needs. I share my home with my friendly young Cocker Spaniel, and all dogs are introduced carefully to ensure everyone feels comfortable and relaxed. I'm happy to provide regular photo updates during your dog's stay, so you can have peace of mind knowing they're safe, settled, and having fun.
“the whole process was very easy and Ellie settled very quickly with Ciaran who looked after her for the day. we are glad we found Ciaran and look forward to making another booking.”

“We needed day care for our Old English Sheepdog Rae whilst we had a family day out at Thorpe Park, Anneliese’s house was a great location for us. Once the clay pigeon shooting ended for the day Rae was able to relax and enjoy her surroundings. Welcoming and friendly family.”
“Monster had a lovely time with Georgina, Baxter and Hugo. It was super hot so the dogs were kept (rightly) but with lots of toys and comfy places to try to chill (not her forte 😂). Georgina was also amazing with my being late because of train nonsense, really grateful. Thank you and we’ll definitely book with Georgina and family again”

“Amazing. We were a bit nervous because we hadn't left our puppy with anyone before and also because we'd never used Robert before. Jo-Anne was amazing, can't recommend her enough. We had photos throughout the day which completely put us at ease knowing that everything was ok. Will definitely be booking again.”

About: I’ve taken care of my dog and friends dogs’ for the last 7 years. They’ll be looked after like they are my own with lots of walks and cuddles. We have a very large garden that they can play in between walks and quiet places in our house. Unfortunately, due to allergies I can only look after hypoallergenic dogs in the house. I have plenty of time to play and walk your dog, as I rarely work and my husband is retired so always around. We have a lot of varied walks that we do in the Surrey hills and surrounding areas. I have a safe and fenced garden and 1 dog of my own, so your dog will have a playmate. Indoors we have enough rooms to ensure that your dog can have quiet times if that is what they require.
“Natasha and her family looked after Aika very well and Aika had such a great day with them (and their doggies) Communication and updates were fantastic too, I would definitely ask Natasha to look after Aika anytime soon 😀”

“Liv and her partner took excellent care of Shadow. They were really responsive to messages and let me know how he was getting on throughout the day. He looked like he’d had a fun day and was a very tired boy when he got home. Thank you; will definitely book again x”

“Ceri took Phoebes for the day. Phoebes seemed to settle in quickly, and was handed back in one piece. Ceri was flexible and communicative. Phoebe seems to like her and the house. She doesn’t normally eat in new environments but she ate quite a bit. They went on a walk. Looks like there a few good spots for walkies in the area. Booking was really straightforward, house is easy to find. No drama. Will consider using Ceri again in future.”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats most my life and my family just loves having pets around. It will be myself taking care of your pet and I can’t wait to meet them :) I work from home and so am home all day and would usually go for the walks in the morning and sometimes the afternoon too, if your pet requires 2 walks, please let me know, I have a fenced off back yard and a lot of space in the house. I can crate your dog if needed (please provide the crate), or he/she can have full roam of the house. My dog gets on very well with other dogs, he is a neutered golden retriever.
“Very calm and confident lady, with a super friendly dog of her own for company. Bibi seems to have been very relaxed and happy in her stay and we were extra grateful for the short notice booking. Candice is highly recommended.”

“Joe has done a very good job of looking after our dog. Rudy, the four legged recipient of said care, was very happy. We noticed that with other dog minders, when we would pick up Rudy, he would be anxious and behaving as if he can’t wait to go home, but with Joe, he was peaceful and relaxed, as if the time they spent together was something they’ve done very often. 5/5 stars in my opinion!”

“Our dog has been staying with Laura for a few months now. He always has the best time. She has lots of other friendly dogs that day board which means he always has a special time and comes back nice and tired. Laura has also been great to leave Milo with at holidays, with lots of regular updates to keep us involved.”

Dusty is young with lots of energy and some separation anxiety but Lord Jack completely out me and Dusty at ease. He was calm, gentle and welcoming and Dusty had a great day. He socialised with the other, older dog, had lots of walks and attention and was a very happy pooch when I picked him up. Jack sent photos through the day and kept me informed. Excellent service, thank you.

Monster had a lovely time with Georgina, Baxter and Hugo. It was super hot so the dogs were kept (rightly) but with lots of toys and comfy places to try to chill (not her forte 😂). Georgina was also amazing with my being late because of train nonsense, really grateful. Thank you and we’ll definitely book with Georgina and family again

Dim Sum had a great time with Kirsten and Astro. Kirsten is very caring and gentle with Dim Sum. She’s also responsive and communicated constantly with me with photos and videos. I feel very comfortable to leave my cheeky boy with her and I can tell Dim Sum is happy around Kirsten and Astro as well 😊

Ayna is amazing! Our 16 week old pup stayed with her the whole day and clearly loved spending time with her. She provided updates to reassure us that our boy was having a good time. Ayna is super patient, caring and so lovely. We will be making her our dedicated sitter anytime we need her and she’s willing to take our pup!

Our spaniel has stayed with Tara twice now and was very excited to be heading back there despite being a slightly nervous dog. She's come back happy and relaxed both times. Her dog Barney has been very friendly with her too which is lovely to see. Will definitely book again.

Esme, our five month old puppy had a lovely time with Kirstyn today. She was looked after very well and Kirstyn followed all our requests for Esme. Esme came home full of beans and was really happy, this shows us she was looked after exceptionally well. She needs lots of love and attention due to her age and clearly got load’s of fuss and kept well entertained. Thank you Kirstyn, Esme can’t wait for her next visit!

Kora was absolutely wonderful with my dog, Levi! She's a true natural with dogs and clearly has a passion for what she does. Not only was she great with Levi, but she was also excellent at communicating and was always on time. It's so reassuring to know that your pet is in such good hands. I highly recommend her and will definitely be booking her again!

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
