Dogs are the greatest joy in my life, there’s no better way I can imagine spending my time than caring for and making every moment they have on earth as love filled and enjoyable as it can be! I’m an empathetic person and understand how every dog is different and needs different types of care- you can be assured that your dog would be in the safest of hands, and that I would respect whichever way you like your dog to be looked after. I have a tailored , yet always loving and empathetic approach for caring for dogs and see this as a hobby and passion rather than a job or chore. We have a family dog called Barney, the love of my life ! I’ve spent a lot of time looking after him, as well as my brother’s gorgeous German Shepherd, Toby, who I’ve also had the privilege of looking after from time to time. I have a substantial amount of experience looking after dogs and filling their time with fun and love😊

I care for every dog as if it’s my own, I think every dog is different and thrives under different types of care, I would tailor this to whatever is best for your dog and equally would respect whichever way you like to have them cared for. Communication is key and I would want to understand these things before looking after your furry friend.

Tara was amazing from start to finish! From first messages she made us feel so comfortable being our first dog and a puppy we had only had with us for a few weeks she offered to come and meet Albie before so he could familiarise with her which put us at ease. On the day Tara was so professional and friendly kept us updated but also didn’t hassle us and came back to a very happy puppy. If you’re looking for someone to take care of your dog we would highly recommend!

Schedule
I work remotely 4 days a week (my office day is Thursday) , on these days I’m available for day sits given that I could bring my laptop and work from your home. I can also accommodate drop in requests at lunchtime or out of work hours. My weekends can be busier but please do always send these requests as I can sometimes make these work. Dog-sitting is not my primary job, however it is something I do for the pure joy of it and something I like to make work alongside my full time job. 😊
