About: I grew up with 2 cats but have looked after my boyfriends German Shepard frequently in the past 6 years. I am new to dog walking but will absolutely love it from looking after a fluffball German Shepard. I currently work from home majority of the week and am flexible with what dates I can be at home. So lots of time for cuddles and attention inbetwewn meetings! We have a small garden in our home which is surrounding by fencing and brick wall so no escape artists here! In your home you won’t even know I was there.
“Jana and her husband J were so welcoming to us and to Jazz, our Springer Spaniel. She did not look back when we dropped her off and we received regular updates. It was clear from our conversations about Jazz's care needs that Jana and J were responsible dog carers and we felt completely confident leaving her with them. On pick up, Jazz was happy and calm (just as we like her to be) and she had been given lots of attention and cuddles so was content to have a nice long sleep when we got her home. Thank you both very much. We look forward to many more visits. Shirley and Chris, Epsom.”

About: I have looked after and helped take care of animals for many years and I absolutely love it. I really enjoy the process of building a connection with an animal and getting to know them. During my travels over the last couple of years I have looked after a whole variety of dogs and cats. I am always very active and so love taking dogs for walks, runs or hikes. While I also love to relax, play and cuddle with them too. I would say I particularly connect with bigger more active dogs but the smaller ones also have a place in my heart. I brought up a Labrador puppy and have gained more experience with training all sorts of dogs, finding it easy to have the patience required to train them. I have built my best connections with cats over the last five years, also looking after stray cats along my travels whenever possible. I find connecting with them and really understanding a particular cats personality comes naturally to me. I’m always more at peace with them around. I am just coming back from travelling the last two years and have decided to just pet sit for the rest of this year. This way I can keep my schedule flexible and spend as much time with animals as possible when I am looking after them. I’m always one to get up and out early especially if the dogs need more than one walk.In my spare time I’m playing music and learning new instruments which keeps me flexible to walk and give attention to pets throughout the day. I love to exercise outdoors, take walks and go for runs, dogs can join for all of these. It’s always a pleasure to have the company and go for extra walks! I have a fenced garden so dogs can spend as much time outside as they like, roaming between here and indoors. There is a good size park across the road for small walks and running around off the lead. Cats can also venture around here safely. From home I can walk to Epsom/Ashtead common for longer walks and more time off the lead. Within a 10 minute drive I can be on Epsom Downs or Horton Country Park, while slightly further there is Headley Heath. This makes it easy to give them a whole variety of walks. If I am to be staying at your place I will be just as keen for many walks. With this being my primary work I will find it easy to give your pets the attention and love they desire. I don’t currently have any pets so at mine your pets would have the place to themselves with me.

“Wilf loves going to Doggy Day Care with Georgia. From the outset she showed a great warmth towards him and it is plain to see how much she loves being with dogs. We are regularly sent videos and pictures of him playing with Charla and having a great time. Georgia is incredibly flexible with timings and I cannot recommend her highly enough as we are so pleased with how she and her family have welcomed Wilf into their home.”

I would thoroughly recommend Amanda and Barney.”

About: I’ve helped train and raise my family lab for 14 years, so I know how important it is for you to find a trusted walker/sitter to keep them healthy and happy while you're away. I’ve also helped care for my friends' dogs - feeding, medicating and poop scooping as required between constant ball throwing and cuddles. I really miss my own dog and I would love to have that joy back in my life. I have a flexible schedule as I'm currently in between jobs and so I'll be able to fit around you and give them plenty of love. My home includes a large garden and I live right next to woodland so they’ll have plenty of space to explore. Waking up at 7am I do toilet breaks before their morning walk in the local woods followed by breakfast. I'll play with them in the garden and keep the door open so they can come from kitchen to garden as they like. Then for lunch we will do a larger walk in the local area before dinner and snuggles in the evening. The garden is fenced and gated, with a large open space to throw balls and for them to run around. We are two minutes walk from the woodland for easy walks. I also regularly drive to new areas in the Surrey hills to try new hiking routes with woods, rivers and fields for them to explore. Our home includes myself and my parents, both of whom grew up with dogs and love them as much as I do.

We couldn't be happier with Otto's first experience at doggy day care. Georgina was incredibly caring, knowledgeable, and made Otto feel welcome from the moment he arrived. Throughout the day, Georgina sent us lots of lovely photos and updates, which really put our minds at ease. It was clear that Otto had an amazing time socialising and playing, and he came home happy and very tired! Knowing that Otto was being looked after so well made the whole experience stress-free for us. We would highly recommend Georgina's doggy day care to anyone looking for a safe, caring, and fun environment for their dog.

What can I say? Ioulia and Chris looked after my boy Cooper so well. They are the kindest, most accommodating people I have ever met. This was my first booking with them, but it will certainly not be my last. Thank you both so much for your love and care. It means such a lot to know that Cooper is being cared for as I would care for him myself.

Melissa is professional and fantastic with communication. She was incredibly accommodating to my husband and I with a last minute need for a dog sitter and even with a few even more last minute time changes on the day. We were truly appreciative of her help and we felt confident that our puppy Marshall was well-cared for. Thank you Melissa!

As always Luna had a fantastic time with Shirley and Chris. We had lovely updates and they kindly kept Luna a bit longer than expected as I got stuck on the M25 on my way to collect! Shirley was so lovely about it and I wouldn't hesitate for Luna to go back anytime! Thank you xxx

Chloe was extraordinary with my puppy. As last minute request, not only I had a fast confirmation to my request but Chloe was always fast replying to me. My puppy absolutely loved the day care and I could see her smiling when I collect her. Communication and updates were continuous and I could see how well my puppy was being looked after. As well Chloe was supper collaborative with me to pick up my puppy. I HIGHLY recommend Chloe services, as she has been one the best dog sitters i had as Rover customer.

My dog, Honey, had the best time being looked after by Jana and her husband James. When I went to collect Honey and take her home, she wanted to stay with them! I feel this reflects what a great time she had that day with them. I really appreciated all the updates that I received whilst Jana was looking after Honey. I would most definitely use Jana & James again

Left my two Chihuahua's with Nadia for most of the day whilst I was at work. Both the dogs were well taken care of, lots of walks, photos and cuddles. I could not have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend. They are both looking forward to their next visit with Nadia!

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
