“Anna has been fantastic. I recently booked her to stay in my apartment and look after my cat while I was visiting family abroad. She sent regular updates, photos and videos which was very reassuring, she even extended her stay by an extra night last minute when my flight was cancelled. I would definitely recommend her.”

“Richard was brilliant. He came to see us before I went away to meet us which I thought was so kind because he got used to Ajax and we could talk a bit more about his habits and needs. We also took Ajax for a walk as he can be a bit reactive but Richard was perfect with him. Richard kept me updated throughout my trip with information and photos of what they were doing which meant that I was completely relaxed on my holiday. Richard left my place clean and tidy and I would not have known he’d been there! Thank you Richard you’re amazing!!”

“I can’t thank Merrily enough for looking after my dog while we were away. She took care to find out his daily routine and his likes and dislikes so that he would be happy and relaxed. Merrily went the extra mile to ensure his happiness and kept me up to date with lovely stories and photos about his adventures each day. She is a real natural with dogs and I know my dog now has a special friend! I thoroughly recommend Merrily.”

“James looked after Hattie (cat) in our home for almost three weeks and did a brilliant job. He sent me a video and photo of Hattie everyday. He was able to give Hattie probiotics when required and sent us a video of her taking the probiotics. Hattie is an anxious and shy cat but I could see that she was very fond of James and happy to be in his company. Thanks James for the excellent communication while we were away and providing Hattie with fantastic care!”

About: I have volunteered with animal shelters and charities since the age of 14 I currently work for a separate pet sitting company local to my area but I am looking to branch out on my own I am an animal fanatic, owning 11 pets myself and always ensure that your pets are treated like my own, with plenty of tender loving care 💕 I am in full time education and have a part time job at a local football club. Otherwise I’m available before school, afterschool and on the weekends around the same times. Half terms and during exam season I am completely free I usually feed clients early in the morning around 7am ish and later at night around 6pm ish to fit within my schedule. This lets me ensure all animals receive the attention they deserve and it means that no animals are over looked. I take safety very seriously ensuring all homes and pets are left the way I found them. I aim to try and build bonds with the pets to help reduce stress and I like to meet the pets first so I am a semi- familiar face when the time comes to caring for them
“Darrin was amazing with my two girls. Such a lovely man who truly cares for animals . My doggies felt so comfortable with him which is all I could ever wish for. Darrin was also so accommodating with our request for him to bring our girls to our wedding venue for a short time in order to grab some pics. Thank you for everything?”

“Libby is lovely and took good care of our cat Jeremy. He is normally cautious with new people but He was very affectionate with Libby straight away ,we knew he was in good hands. Thank you”

“This was the second time Ross dog sat for Juno. She was delighted to see him when he arrived very punctually. He kept her entertained and happy while we were out and gave us updates about how she was doing. Great dog sitter.”

“Leah was absolutely brilliant with Dave! She provided great updates with plenty of pictures and even did some training with our little furry boy. Definitely recommend and we will use her again in the future! 😊”

“I’ve just returned from a 10 day holiday and was able to relax while away as Emilia was looking after my Golden Retriever in my home. She was excellent with him. I was able to monitor him in the garden via my camera App and could see he was happy playing and wagging his tail, so not stressing that I was away. She took him for walks twice a day and did all that I requested of her. I would certainly have her look after Dylan again and be more than happy to recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”

“Neve was fabulous looking after our Wire Fox Terrier, Marty, for over a week whilst we were on holiday. In advance of us leaving, Marty had been seriously ill and was on three different medications that were administered four times a day so it was a relief that Neve wasn't at all fazed and was more than capable. Neve was a great communicator and regularly sent photos of Marty enjoying his walks and sunbathing. Would highly recommend Neve.”

About: I have looked after and helped take care of animals for many years and I absolutely love it. I really enjoy the process of building a connection with an animal and getting to know them. During my travels over the last couple of years I have looked after a whole variety of dogs and cats. I am always very active and so love taking dogs for walks, runs or hikes. While I also love to relax, play and cuddle with them too. I would say I particularly connect with bigger more active dogs but the smaller ones also have a place in my heart. I brought up a Labrador puppy and have gained more experience with training all sorts of dogs, finding it easy to have the patience required to train them. I have built my best connections with cats over the last five years, also looking after stray cats along my travels whenever possible. I find connecting with them and really understanding a particular cats personality comes naturally to me. I’m always more at peace with them around. I am just coming back from travelling the last two years and have decided to just pet sit for the rest of this year. This way I can keep my schedule flexible and spend as much time with animals as possible when I am looking after them. I’m always one to get up and out early especially if the dogs need more than one walk.In my spare time I’m playing music and learning new instruments which keeps me flexible to walk and give attention to pets throughout the day. I love to exercise outdoors, take walks and go for runs, dogs can join for all of these. It’s always a pleasure to have the company and go for extra walks! I have a fenced garden so dogs can spend as much time outside as they like, roaming between here and indoors. There is a good size park across the road for small walks and running around off the lead. Cats can also venture around here safely. From home I can walk to Epsom/Ashtead common for longer walks and more time off the lead. Within a 10 minute drive I can be on Epsom Downs or Horton Country Park, while slightly further there is Headley Heath. This makes it easy to give them a whole variety of walks. If I am to be staying at your place I will be just as keen for many walks. With this being my primary work I will find it easy to give your pets the attention and love they desire. I don’t currently have any pets so at mine your pets would have the place to themselves with me.
“Jamie was a fantastic house sitter and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better to look after Kaos and Kovu. From the moment we met him at the introduction, he built an instant rapport with them, which immediately put us at ease. His communication throughout our time away was excellent. He kept us updated and reassured, which meant a lot to us while we were gone. Kaos clearly had a wonderful time with him, enjoying plenty of long walks and attention, and Jamie was incredibly gentle and affectionate with our Bengal cat, Kovu. It was clear that he genuinely cared about the boys and took the responsibility seriously. We came home to two very happy pets and a well-looked-after home, which is exactly what every pet owner hopes for. We would absolutely recommend Jamie to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and attentive house sitter.”

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My mum nurtured my love for them early on—she used to feed pigeons from our first‑floor windowsill, and together we would help any injured birds that needed care. Since then, I’ve shared my life with a turtle, a rabbit, a cat, and of course, dogs. Friends who trust me with their pets often say I have endless patience and a natural gift for understanding dogs. Nevertheless safety of your pet is as much important to me. That is why when carrying about your furry friend I will definitely follow the information and instructions provided and I will dedicate my full attention making sure your baby feels safe and comfortable. I am currently working part-time, with flexible schedule, so I would have loads of time to look after your dog. I'm available for boarding most weekends and week-days too with sufficient notice. I have a nice large open plan downstairs area and a fenced garden. My friendly dog Milo will keep your furry pet a company. There are number of local parks where I take my dog for walks, so will be happy to take your dog too if you don't mind.
“Wow, what a gem we found in Hanna! It was my first time using Rover and the thought of letting a ‘stranger’ look after our energetic 6 month old lab was a little overwhelming but Hanna put me at ease straight away. It’s obvious she has a passion and real love for dogs. She really took the time to listen to Kodi’s needs and sent me plenty of pupdates throughout the day which was just great! Kodi told me he had the best day with his new friend and would love to see her again 😊🐶 No hesitations at all, we would choose Hanna over and over, highly recommended! Thank you again!”

“Thank you so much for dog sitting Izzy, you were brilliant! Izzy was so lovely and cared for Ziggy really well. She sent us regular updates, looked after Ziggy and our house wonderfully. We would highly recommend Izzy and hope to use her again soon.”

About: Hi, I’m Melody, a reliable and active dog lover who genuinely enjoys spending time with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. Over the past year, I lived in Sydney with two wonderful dogs: Badger, a lively Fox Terrier, and Prince, who we think is an American Staffy, Boxer, and Labrador mix. Living alongside them every day gave me a real understanding of dogs’ routines, exercise needs, body language, and unique personalities. It was a fantastic experience that deepened my love and appreciation for dogs and the care they need to thrive. While in Australia, I also cared for my cousin’s family dog and spent several days looking after three energetic Fox Terriers during a trip to Tasmania. My experience isn’t limited to the last year. For more than five years, I’ve regularly helped friends and family by caring for their dogs, including my friend Stephanie’s dog Uma in Gloucestershire and two adorable Spaniel puppies belonging to close friends. Through these experiences, I’ve become comfortable with dogs of different ages, breeds, energy levels, and temperaments. Alongside this, I work as a fashion model, and one of my favourite parts of the job is when dogs are involved in shoots. I’ve always naturally gravitated towards animals and love getting to know each dog’s unique personality. I’m an active person who enjoys long walks, being outdoors, and exploring new places, so I’m always happy to keep energetic dogs exercised and engaged. Whether your dog loves adventure, playtime, cuddles on the sofa, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I work as a freelance fashion model, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to accommodate a wide range of pet-sitting requests. Because my work isn’t tied to a traditional 9-to-5 office schedule, I’m often available during weekdays when many people need support with their pets. I regularly have periods where I’m available for extended stays, overnight care, or longer bookings, and I’m also happy to help with shorter or last-minute requests when my schedule allows. When I do have modelling jobs, they are typically based in London and usually take place during standard working hours. This means I can often combine local pet-sitting with work while still ensuring dogs receive the care, attention, walks, and routine they need. One of the benefits of my flexible career is that I can often help at times when finding a sitter can be difficult, whether that’s a midweek booking, a last-minute request, or a longer stay while owners are away. At the moment, I prefer to care for dogs in their own homes rather than host them in mine. I’m attentive and proactive, and I believe it’s important to gently redirect unwanted behaviours before they become habits or lead to problems

About: Hi there! My name is Shivani 🌟 I love taking care of animals, having looked after pets for friends, family, and neighbours over the past decade or so. Most recently, I have been offering both dog walking and dog sitting services in the local area and in Cambridge. I’m currently working part time, so can offer you and your pet a relatively flexible schedule that suits you ☺️ Whether it is early mornings or late nights, I can be there! I ensure a calming, happy environment for your dog. It’s important for me to first build a trusted relationship with your pet to ensure they feel comfortable with a new stranger in their space! I usually like to first meet with you and your pet so that introductions can be made before committing to regular walking/sitting. I also have an enhanced DBS check. Thank you!
Epsom pet owners share their Rover experiences
James was excellent and we are very happy with his service. He stayed at our home for 7 nights, kept it in immaculate condition and most importantly our pets (1 dog and 2 cats) were very well looked after. Highly recommend James and we will be booking him again. Thank you James!
Merrily is a hit with our cats! She has taken a lot of time out to learn how to deal with our cat’s special needs, and it’s clear she understands and loves animals. We also had a lot of communication and photo/video updates during the weekend house sitting for us which was reassuring. Thank you so much!

Lucy and Amber had a wonderful stay with Gerry. She made us feel very comfortable at the meet and greet and clearly had a lot of confidence with dogs. We were updated throughout and felt very happy that our girls were being cared for brilliantly. Would definitely use Gerry again.
Emilia is a completely trustworthy, charming young lady and a pleasure to deal with. My dog (a cockapoo) took to her immediately. She is very punctual, she left our house spotless, and a happy dog, absolutely nothing to fault. Would recommend to anyone with hesitation.

Neve was fabulous looking after our Wire Fox Terrier, Marty, for over a week whilst we were on holiday. In advance of us leaving, Marty had been seriously ill and was on three different medications that were administered four times a day so it was a relief that Neve wasn't at all fazed and was more than capable. Neve was a great communicator and regularly sent photos of Marty enjoying his walks and sunbathing. Would highly recommend Neve.

We would absolutely recommend Jamie to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and attentive house sitter.

Ella was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Richie! From the moment she arrived, she was personable, kind, and clearly loved spending time with him. She played with Richie, made him feel completely comfortable, and we could tell he really loved being with her. It’s such a relief to know he’s in such caring hands. We’ll definitely be booking Ella again in the near future!
