“We were very pleased and fortunate to have Holly as our cat sitter. She is very caring and looked after our cat Billy very well. Hopefully, we will continue to call on her excellent service in the future.”

“Very happy with Jessy looking after Stanley. She looked after him, at our house, all day whilst we went to a wedding. Jessy was very confident and comfortable with Stan. She walked him feed him and played with him and kept us up you date with pictures which was lovely. Would highly recommend”

“Sophie was fantastic with our dog Disco, she took time to meet him beforehand to make sure he was comfortable, and on the day kept me updated and looked after him really well. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Sophie again. Thank you Sophie ❤️”

“Neve did wonderfully well with Evie during one of the hottest times of this summer. Evie struggles when she is hot so Neve walked her around 6am in the morning before it was too hot for Evie. Neve kept Evie in the room with air conditioning and made sure the house was as comfortable for Evie that it could be with shutters and blinds closed against the heat. The house was immaculate when we got back and Neve was very good putting up with our return at a later time than we had hoped. We would book Neve again.”

About: I have had dogs throughout my life and currently live with my 7-year-old French Bulldog. I have experience caring for puppies, adult, and senior dogs, and I understand that each life stage comes with different needs. I provide attentive, consistent care in a safe and calm home environment. I am patient, responsible, and experienced in adjusting care to suit each dog’s routine, personality, and energy level. Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a family with dogs, and from the age of 12 I was actively involved in their daily care and responsibility. Over the years, I have cared for dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments, which has given me a strong understanding of dogs’ needs, routines, and behaviour. I currently share my life with my French Bulldog, Luke, and previously I owned a Whippet, a German Shepherd, and two Basenjis. This long-term, hands-on experience has helped me develop a calm, patient, and attentive approach to dog care. I also have personal experience caring for a dog with separation anxiety, which has taught me the importance of consistency, reassurance, and close supervision. As I work from home, I am able to provide dogs with companionship, attention, and a stable routine throughout the day. I am reliable, responsible, and genuinely committed to each dog’s wellbeing. I aim to treat every dog as an individual and follow their usual routine to help them feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed while in my care. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, secure, and dog-friendly home environment, with close supervision at all times. I follow each dog’s usual routine and individual needs to help them feel settled and relaxed. I take a responsible and attentive approach to care and ensure clear communication with owners by providing regular photo and message updates for peace of mind.
“Ed was amazing and constantly kept me up to date with how the dogs were getting on. The dogs seemed more disappointed that he had left than excited to see us He mainly kept to the dogs routine and even kindly watered the rest of my garden as I was running late. Would definitely use again”

“Daniel stayed with our GSD girl for a week whilst we were away. He is very reliable and attentive. Our girl is very playful and energetic and needs a lot looking after. But Daniel has managed perfectly. She enjoyed very much his company. Daniel kept the house in a good order and sent us regular updates. We would not hesitate to recommend Daniel to anyone who needs help with their furry friends. Karina and Mark”
“Kristina was great. Very prompt communication, sent me regular updates and left the house clean and tidy. She was great with our shy King Charles and Kristina really put our mind at rest leaving her whilst on holiday. Would thoroughly recommend.”

“We are so picky and can honestly say we are 100% delighted to have found Emma! Our two boys were happy , settled and very waggy when with Emma. We can honestly say we have found the doggie sitter for us and we can now have a little time away with total peace of mind! Amazing!”

“Ariana was absolutely fantastic!! We were away for half term so Ariana both pet say and house sat, she came over before we left to talk through everything, which was great, and then gave us regular updates whilst we were away. She is such a lovely person, and we will definitely use her again...”
“Emily looked after our two dogs while we went away on holiday. The dogs absolutely loved her and she sent us daily pictures of what they were up too. Emily always responded very quickly to messages and the house was left beautifully clean and tidy. We would highly recommend Emily for any pet/house sitting. We will be using her again.”

Jessamy is a lovely kind young lady, who was absolutely brillaint. She kept me updated with photos and messages about Mittens. My first time leaving him over night so I was nervous. Jessamy made me feel calm and reassured the whole time. Will definitely be using Jessamy again. Thank you so much .

Kristina looked after our 10 year old cockapoo whilst we went on holiday and we were absolutely delighted with the care & attention that Cody received. We had daily updates with photos & vídeos.. Cody had a wonderful staycation in his own home with Kristina. We highly recommend Kristina as a loving responsible pet sitter.
Beatrix house sat for us for a week to look after our young cats while we were away. When we got back they were super happy and relaxed. She sent lots of pics and regular updates letting us know everything at the house was ok and the cats were good. Everything was left super clean and tidy. It was really reassuring knowing everything was fine at home and made it much easier to relax on holiday. The cats got lots of attention and care - we are very grateful thank you! Highly recommend :)

Ellen was absolutely great. She was very accommodating and Bella fell in love with her the first time she met her. Ellen kept me updated and was very responsive as well. Every picture I received from Ellen, Bella looked absolutely enjoying her company and having a great time. Can recommend Ellen anytime to anyone. 5 stars.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.

- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Mole Valley choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 89% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
