About: I have had dogs my whole life some from puppies some rescued. I am at home in the day and offer a warm environment with fabulous local dog walks. Our children are all at school so I am available term time during the week. Plenty of time for walks and play. Overnight stays may be possible. We have a large fenced garden on a private road with good walking. I have a large kitchen with an aga so nice and warm!

About: I have had 3 dogs of my own more have regularly looked after 3 others while owners have been on holidays. To me they are family and are treated as such. Your pets will be loved by me and will have full access of the house and garden. I owned 2 staffies and a Spanish mastiff. I regularly look after a frenchie a spaniel and 3 greyhounds. I am retired so I can give your pet as much attention as is required. I prefer animals that can be left a few hours so I can still get out for shopping etc. But I could accommodate more needy ones for short periods of time. I have a small fenced garden and no other animals to disturb your cat. Happy to stay or drop in at your house if its local to me also.

About: I have been trusted by the same family to care for their dog for the past three years, frequently looking after them for 10-day periods while the owners are away. This ongoing arrangement reflects the strong bond I’ve built with their dog and the confidence the owners place in my reliability, attentiveness, and quality of care. As I’m currently on summer break from university, I have a lot of free time and flexibility in my schedule. This allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day, whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping them company. About: We have taken care of cats, dogs, rabbits and everything in between for the last 6 years together. We love enjoying time with all animals and keeping pet parents updated! Together we work from home/ part-time so have lots of time to spend with your fluffy babies! We will endeavour to spend maximum time giving love and adoration to your pets. “Neve was fabulous looking after our Wire Fox Terrier, Marty, for over a week whilst we were on holiday. In advance of us leaving, Marty had been seriously ill and was on three different medications that were administered four times a day so it was a relief that Neve wasn't at all fazed and was more than capable. Neve was a great communicator and regularly sent photos of Marty enjoying his walks and sunbathing. Would highly recommend Neve.”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 5 years old. My family pets were German shepherds and labradors. I am experienced managing strong dogs on lead and am very reliable. Happy to meet and go through needs prior to booking if needed. I have 2 indoor Maine Coon cats, both 9 years old. Commonly known as the dogs of the cat world! We’re Holly and Agustin, a Dorking-based cat-sitting team. We both work from home, which gives us good flexibility for morning, afternoon and evening cat visits. For overnight stays, we can work from your home where Wi-Fi is available, helping your cat keep their normal routine with calm company, feeding, litter care, medication if needed, and regular photo updates. We always prefer a meet-and-greet before a first booking so we can understand your cat’s routine, personality, home setup and any special care needs. We take safety seriously, especially with indoor cats, shy cats and cats who may try to escape. We follow feeding, litter and medication instructions carefully, check doors and windows, and pay attention to changes in appetite, drinking, litter use or behaviour. We also treat your home with respect. Keys, alarms, bins, post, lights and basic security checks can all be handled as instructed.

She is very cheerful and helpful, sent me photos to reassure me that the cat was OK, left the house clean and tidy, and kept in touch throughout this booking (which was my first with Rover, and it has been a good experience). About: I've had cats since I was a young child, and I have had significant experience of dogs through my family and neighbours, as well as my family now having a Jack Russell terrier. I've house-sat for multiple people to take care of their cats/dogs, with a variety of ages/temperaments and general needs/medications. I've been involved in training my Jack Russell terrier from when she was a puppy. I've also had experience of managing dogs (specifically German Sheppard's as well as part Mastiffs) who have required more concentrated attention. I'm currently working full-time until mid-June, so my current availability would mostly be at weekends. From mid-June onwards, I would be far more flexible to adapt to the needs of your animals. I have regularly stayed in friends homes to look after their animals, and I have followed the instructions I've been passed on about their animals as closely as possible. I've also ensured that I've sent photos and videos of the animals to their owners to keep their minds at ease. I've also been entrusted with both young cats and old cats, both of which come with their differences (e.g. administering medications/managing anxiety in young cats)..

About: I've looked after my mother-in-law's dog on and off for the last 15 years. Mitsy was a joy to have around the house. She was very playful and enjoyed going for short walks daily I am currently unemployed after working as a PA for the last 30 years. I've always enjoyed looking after dogs and now want to make it my job going forward I have a fenced garden and plenty of space to play in the garden. I'm happy for dogs to sit on the sofa and sleep on our bed
