If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Emma and Shae were amazing with Buddy who was a nervy mess to start with. By the end of day 1 he was clearly having a great time, and was effectively part of the family. Getting Emma’s ‘Pupdates’ was the highlight of my day. ☺️ I am so grateful to them for going above and beyond what I expected. They have ruined us for all other dog sitters. Thank you so much for taking care of our cuddle monster.

Sarah is absolutely stellar! It was our first time leaving our dog with anyone but family, but she instantly relieved our worries. We got regular updates and adorable pictures of him looking so incredibly happy. He had a fantastic time—I think he was genuinely sad and missing his new friends and Sarah! after we picked him up. We couldn't recommend her more highly.

I was so nervous leaving my dog for a weeks boarding for the first time, Mark immediately put my mind at ease. Seeing how much effort and kindness he puts into bonding with the dogs he looks after made me so comfortable when leaving my dog with him. Mark gave us updates and lovely photos throughout, would 100% book with Mark again. Thanks so much!

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and grew up in a family that absolutely loved them. Over the years I’ve owned multiple dogs and currently have one much-loved dog of my own. I also regularly walk and look after friends’ dogs, which I’ve thoroughly enjoyed and is what inspired me to join Rover so I can offer the same loving, reliable care to other dog owners. As a teacher, I’m responsible, patient and organised, and I understand how important it is for owners to know their dog is in safe hands. Your dog will be welcomed into our family home, where I live with my two older teenage daughters, who have also grown up around dogs and love having them around. To ensure every dog receives the attention they deserve, I only care for one guest dog at a time (or dogs from the same household). I’ll follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible and keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can relax knowing they’re being cared for as if they were one of our own. My aim is to provide a genuine home-from-home experience where your dog feels safe, loved and part of the family. As I work full-time as a teacher, I offer pet care during the school holidays only. This means that when your dog stays with me, I’ll be at home for much of the day and can give them the time, attention and companionship they deserve. Our daily routine is relaxed and centred around your dog’s needs, with regular walks, playtime, cuddles and plenty of opportunities to rest. I’ll follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, exercise and any special requirements, so they feel comfortable and settled. By only accepting bookings during the holidays and caring for one guest dog at a time, I can provide a calm, home-from-home environment where your dog receives plenty of individual care and attention. Your dog’s safety, comfort and happiness will always be my priority. Before every booking, I’d like to arrange a meet-and-greet so we can discuss your dog’s routine, personality and any specific needs, helping them settle in as quickly as possible. I have a fully fenced and secure garden where dogs can safely enjoy time outdoors. Inside, they’ll be welcomed into our family home and treated as one of the family. I also have a friendly Working Cocker Spaniel who enjoys the company of other dogs, and because I only accept one guest dog at a time (or dogs from the same household), I can ensure a calm, relaxed environment for everyone. I’ll follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks and any medication if required. If your dog is crate trained or you would prefer them to have their own quiet space, I’m happy to provide a crate during their stay. I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your dog is safe, happy and receiving plenty of love and attention.

Great communication, answered all of my questions beforehand and kept us up to date with photos and videos during the stay. Perfect location for lots of walks. Our dog came home very happy and we’ll be sure to be repeat customers. Thank you ☺️

My 10 months on Hungarian Vizsla boy stayed with Charlotte for almost two weeks. Charlotte and her family is absolutely wonderful. She has two gorgeous Weimaraner who Marley loved to stay and play with. She is very reliable, honest, helpful and great at communication. I was very relaxed to leave Marley with her as I knew she is very experience with this type of bread as well as her children adored Marley! Marley can't wait to stay with them again! Communication is spot on all before, during and after the stay. Regular reassuring updates with photos and videos. I cannot recommend Abby and her family enough. Paris took wonderful care of our dog, Minnie, while we were away. From the start, Paris communicated really well and kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us real peace of mind while we were traveling. It was so reassuring to know that Minnie was in such caring hands. It was clear from the updates that Minnie was happy and comfortable, and she really seemed to enjoy her stay at Paris’s place. When we picked her up, she was relaxed and content, which says a lot about the care and attention she received. We’re very grateful to Paris for looking after Minnie so well and would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful dog sitter. 🐶✨

Kirsty looked after my two cockapoos for a long weekend. She did a fabulous job of taking care of them. She was so kind to them. They were excited to see me on my return, but it was very clear that they had had a lovely time. I could tell Kirsty had really got to know them. Thank you for making my trip away so relaxing, knowing that my dogs were well looked after.

About: Our family have always had pets and as a child dogs were a permanent fixture. As an adult we have had small animals, a loving cat and presently a cockapoo. I am willing to care for dogs and cats and particularly like dog walking. I am happy to have well behaved, fully trained, family friendly dogs in my own home. I am a retired nurse and teacher with some time on my hands. I'm available most weekends and at the end of the week. I may have grandchildren at the house so can only board dogs who are good with children. I am happy to play and walk your dog. I have a fenced garden and large house. Well behaved dogs are welcome on the furniture and beds. They will need their own food and toys. Our dog Mabel does not live with us all the time as she is my daughter's dog and mostly lives in Wales. She comes to us for holidays.

About: I have had 3 dogs of my own more have regularly looked after 3 others while owners have been on holidays. To me they are family and are treated as such. Your pets will be loved by me and will have full access of the house and garden. I owned 2 staffies and a Spanish mastiff. I regularly look after a frenchie a spaniel and 3 greyhounds. I am retired so I can give your pet as much attention as is required. I prefer animals that can be left a few hours so I can still get out for shopping etc. But I could accommodate more needy ones for short periods of time. I have a small fenced garden and no other animals to disturb your cat. Happy to stay or drop in at your house if its local to me also.

Phoebe and her family are absolute angels! They took care of my rescue dog, Dió, for 10 days while we were away on holiday, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everything went perfectly from start to finish. Because Dió is a rescue, I am always a bit anxious about leaving her, but Phoebe completely put my mind at ease. She and her family are incredibly sweet, kind, and welcoming. They showered Dió with so much love and affection that I think she actually missed them when she came home! She had the best time running around and playing in their wonderful garden. It is such a relief to find someone you can trust 100% with your fur baby. Phoebe and her family treated Dió like a member of their own family. I highly, highly recommend them to anyone looking for a loving, responsible, and top-notch pet sitter. Thank you all so much for taking such amazing care of our girl!

We had a wonderful experience with Bethany looking after Toby and Coco for five nights. From the beginning, she was friendly, caring and very attentive to their routine and needs. She kept us regularly updated with lovely photos and messages about their meals, walks, sleep and how they were settling in, which was very reassuring while we were away. Toby and Coco were a little unsettled at first, but Bethany was patient with them and helped them feel comfortable and relaxed in her home. She took them for lovely walks, gave them plenty of attention and cuddles, and was very thoughtful about keeping them comfortable during the warmer weather. ❤️ We really appreciated the care she gave them and would happily book with Bethany again. Thank you so much for taking such good care of Toby and Coco! 🐶❤️🐶

Jenna and Lucas were fantastic, Arnie is an anxious, excitable pup who needs a moment to calm down — it is clear that they took the time to get to know him. Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Dog Boarding in Mole Valley on Rover is £40.25 per night (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Dog Boarding easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Dog Boarding. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of August 2026, there are 15,683 sitters on Rover offering Dog Boarding across Mole Valley. Enter your postcode to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Finding the right boarding environment is all about peace of mind. Boarding with a sitter on Rover helps you find a cosy experience in a real home for your dog.

When searching for a host, look for a sitter who:

  • Offers a secure, home-like environment that is clean and welcoming
  • Adheres to your dog’s established routine for meals, activity, and rest
  • Possesses relevant experience with your pet’s specific breed, size, and personality
  • Maintains clear communication regarding the frequency of photo and message updates

Don’t skip the Meet & Greet! The free Meet & Greet is the best way to see where your dog will sleep and who they might play with.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
