About: I've looked after my mother-in-law's dog on and off for the last 15 years. Mitsy was a joy to have around the house. She was very playful and enjoyed going for short walks daily I am currently unemployed after working as a PA for the last 30 years. I've always enjoyed looking after dogs and now want to make it my job going forward I have a fenced garden and plenty of space to play in the garden. I'm happy for dogs to sit on the sofa and sleep on our bed

“Pam looked after our 2 year old Springer Spaniel for three nights and four days. She was amazing from the day we met, very kind, welcoming, wanting to know everything about Skye, taking notes, asking relevant questions and very confident. She was up for the challenge of having such an energetic dog and never disappointed us. During our time away she would send us photos and updates and when we picked Skye up she had even cleaned her leash for us. We found Pam very caring, special and sweet. We could tell how well she had looked after Skye who came back happy and very clean. We are hoping this is the first of many more Skye’s short stays at Pam’s lovely house. We would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to leave their dog in the best hands! Thanks again Pam x”

Raya aged 2 befriended Milo and they had lots of fun in the big family garden. Natalie kindly sent us updates and photos every 1-2 days. About: We have had our family dog for over 11 years, the first 6 of those years I was living in the family home. I have had my own dog, Mambo, for almost 2 years and am well versed in dog care - I have been taking care of friends and family dogs for years. I absolutely love dogs and am more than happy to help other dog owners where I can as I know it can be challenging to get the right care at the right time. I WFH 2-3 days a week so am able to take care of your dog in my property during those days and on some weekends. I can also pop in (if local) and complete pet checks, dog walks and feeding around my work schedule. This varies week to week but if you are looking for a regular drop in I can let you know where my working week is mostly free. Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays are mostly my WFH days. Please note that for any dog services provided in my own home my own dog Mambo will be around, and in some cases if needing to go to your property my dog Mambo will be coming along - please let me know if this would be an issue. He is 2 years and has been neutured and is super friendly. I am offering my pet care services in both my own home and your (the owners) home. I have a bungalow with a patio garden and am very local to Bookham common and surrounding parks. My home is dog friendly and dogs are allowed on the sofa, and I have a wet room if they need cleaning up. I am experienced in double checking locks, using alarm codes and general safety in the home to ensure your home is kept safe and secure. I will send updates confirming actions that have been taken and confirming the house has been made secure. Mambo also has his own instagram account so if you would like to see what kind of things we get up to please let me know and I can pass the details on :)

“Our 13 month old Springer Spaniel Skye stayed with Marion and Andrew for a week. She could not have been in better hands. We were very lucky as both Andrew and Marion knew the breed very well (even better than us!). They managed to cope amazingly well with things that have been tricky for us (like Skye’s pulling when out). They followed her routines, fed her well, took her for long walks in beautiful green areas (with wonderful landscapes) and most importantly for us, were very caring and appreciative of her. Marion was always in touch and sent us lovely videos, photos and comments. Andrew had a magic touch with Skye which was very impressive to see. They complement each other very well and Skye absoultely loved them! We are very grateful to have found them. We have already booked them again for our next trip. We would recommend them a hundred percent to anybody who would like his/her dog to have the best possible stay and treatment with a lovely and experienced couple.”

“My daughter, Hannah, was brought up with dogs, we had a beautiful Airedale and then an equally beautiful, but very lively and mischievous Labrador. As a child Hannah was always happy to play in the garden with the dogs and I could always rely on her to ensure water bowls were kept full and doors and gates were always kept closed to keep them safe. As she grew older she happily took responsibility for some of the dog walking and feeding when I returned to work and I knew I could rely on her 100% for anything I asked of her. I think Hannah would make the perfect pet sitter and I know she will take her responsibilities very seriously.”

“Michaela and her family were fantastic hosts of our young puppy Henrik. At very short notice, Michaela took in him overnight and provided regular updates, including him on a walk and settling into their family home. As our first time leaving him overnight, outside of family, this couldn’t have been more appreciated and if we were in the area again we wouldn’t hesitate to let Henrik have another stay; in fact he’d be delighted! We can’t recommend Michaela enough and as our first use of the Rover platform we couldn’t be more impressed. Thank you Michaela and family!”

“Dan offered to help out with our dog Minnie as me and my partner work some odd shifts and every time dan has pulled through, whether it's after he finished work, early morning and even the odd day out. Minnie is always excited to see him and Dan has gone out of his way to make sure he learnt all of her commands. His affection towards all dogs is remarkable and he proved himself trustworthy time and time again.”
