About: I have always had dogs in my family when growing up, from puppies to very senior dogs. For the last 5 years I have been part of Borrow My Doggy where I have looked after many dogs, from taking them out for a walk to having them stay over for a week or more. I have a full time job but I work hybrid, some days in the office and some days work from home. When I am working from home I can have pets stay as I keep them company (or to be honest they keep me company!) and take them out for a walk during the day. In the evenings and on weekends I often have pets staying and will work my schedule around their stay. I have a medium sized secure terrace that is covered in astro turf, the dogs that stay with me will go out there to play and to do their business or sometimes just laze in the sun. I have had dogs who have wet food and dry food and also some who have needed medicines at specific times. I have also had a dog post surgery who had special considerations because of that.

I was very nervous to leave my nervous/scared rescue dog with anyone, but immediately when I met Charlotte, I knew he would be in good hands. She was patient with him, and allowed him to warm up to her. She sent us daily pupdates which put my mind at ease while I was away!
We had a great experience. Communication was excellent throughout and we really appreciated the regular photos and updates, which made it easy to relax knowing everything was going well. It was clear our dog was very well looked after, not just by her but by the whole family. There was a real sense of care and attention, and we could tell he was comfortable and happy. Would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
Can’t recommend Candice enough. She suggested a meet up in advance of looking after our dog to get to know him a bit better and I was immediately put at ease by her caring and knowledgable approach to caring for the many dogs she has looked after. During the stay itself, we were treated to multiple pics and vids of Bruno clearly having a lovely time. We picked him up looking very healthy and happy. She was also very flexible on timings for pick up and drop off.
Margie and her family recently looked after Harley and Freddie, who both had an absolutely brilliant weekend away! Margie was so friendly and we were able to go away knowing "our boys" would be safe and looked after. Highly recommend Margie and a thank you from both Paul and I.
Wade has been an excellent dog sitter for Pablo. Took him out for walks, cuddled with him on the coach and made sure to keep Pablo happy while he was away from home. Thank you for taking care of Pablo, I'm sure he loved spending time with you! I'd recommend Wade without any hesitation!

I can’t recommend Simon enough! From the very first meet-and-greet, it was clear how much he genuinely cares for animals. He took fantastic care of Lucho, keeping me updated with photos and messages so I could relax knowing my pup was happy and well looked after. Lucho came home content and clearly loved spending time with Simon and Pippin. I will definitely be booking with them again – a truly wonderful experience all around!
