I was nervous about it, but from Day 1, looking at the pics and videos that Margarita shared with me, I knew that Robin was having a whale of a time with Margarita and her family (including her pet dog). In fact, Robin has been sulking ever since we picked him up:) Thank you so much Margarita (and to your daughter and Summer:)). I am sure we will see you again soon. Meena xx”

About: I've been around animals my whole life and have experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I raised my Husky, who was my companion for 12 years, and I now have an Australian Shepherd. Through both of my dogs, I've gained hands-on experience with training, daily care, and understanding canine behavior. I'll treat your dog with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. I work remotely on project-based assignments, which gives me a flexible schedule. This allows me to provide plenty of attention, regular walks, playtime, and companionship, so your dog won't be left alone for long. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, so I can provide plenty of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. I always follow each owner's care instructions and strive to keep pets on their usual routine to help them feel safe and relaxed.

We had a great experience using Ganna’s sitting services. It was a very straightforward and smooth experience from our initial introductory catch up to the actual stay. Our dog Max looked comfy and very well-looked after while we were away and we would definitely be rebooking with Ganna. Thank you!

We’re so grateful to Dominika for taking such wonderful care of our Beauford. We booked him in with her for boarding, and we couldn’t have been happier with the care and attention she gave him. From the very beginning, Dominika was so welcoming, accommodating, and responsive. It was clear that Beauford felt comfortable, happy, and well cared for in her company, which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. We would highly recommend Dominika to anyone looking for someone caring, trustworthy, and reliable to look after their dog. Thank you so much, Dominika, for taking such great care of our boy! ❤️

I would highly recommend Sandra. She has a good understanding of dogs and knows how to handle the larger breeds very well. She took great care of my GSD over a weekend break, sending me regular updates. My GSD tends to become anxious when left alone so Sandra voluntarily slept on the couch with her on her first night to settle her in. Thank you Sandra

Could not rate Karyna and Tom highly enough. We were anxious to leave Nemo as he hadn’t been left with anyone for this long before (8 nights). We shouldn’t have worried as he was helped to settle in and was made to feel comfortable and part of their lives. We got a nightly update which we looked forward to. We would not hesitate to book Karyna again.

Katherine was absolutely incredible with my little Pomeranian Alfie. She has the warmest presence and he was clearly comfortable with her from the get go. She sent me lots of updates and Alfie was very happy and relaxed. I would absolutely recommend Katherine to all dog owners

Ellen is fantastic! She & her partner took such great care of our girls while we were on holiday. She sent lots of photo and video updates of their daily snuggles and out and about adventures. We felt such peace of mind knowing the girls were in good hands with Ellen. Highly recommend!

Our spaniel Oscar had a great time on his first 4 day holiday at Ross and Darren's lovely home. They made my children and I very welcome when we took Oscar for our meet and greet, Oscar felt straight at home and loved their spacious garden and their 2 adorable dogs! The pick up and drop back home service also greatly appreciated. Oscar came home very happy and is looking forward to his next holiday there🐾

Lizzie was a wonderful dog sitter for my beagle. Communication was great from the outset which made everything really easy to arrange and Lizzie was really engaged with indie and her routine throughout. She was very accommodating and easy going and indie had a brilliant stay with lovely walks. Would highly recommend!
Rosaleen looked after Della for over three weeks while I was away in Europe. Della is normally very clingy to me but came back completely chilled and had obviously had a wonderful time staying with Rosaleen. Della was also beautifully bathed and fragrant! Rosaleen updated me regularly with pictures and messages and I was very happy throughout. I will most definitely be using Rosaleen again.

I’m so thankful to Gabriella for taking such wonderful care of Milo during the two weeks she looked after him. She was warm, loving, and attentive from the very beginning, and I felt completely comfortable knowing Milo was in good hands. Gabriella was incredibly kind, responsible, and caring, and she made sure Milo was happy, comfortable, and well looked after throughout his stay. Her attention and genuine love for him gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. She is truly the best dog sitter I could have asked for, and I would absolutely trust her with Milo again. I highly recommend Gabriella to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring, and trustworthy to look after their dog. Thank you so much, Gabriella, for taking such great care of Milo! ❤️

Leigh looked after my dog Milly for a few nights, and I wouldn't hesitate to book with her again. From our first meet and greet, she had such a calm, lovely manner that immediately put me at ease. She shared updates during Milly's stay, which was very reassuring and allowed me to relax knowing she was in good hands. Thank you so much for looking after her, and I'm sure we'll see you again. Until next time! 😊

We couldn't have asked for better care for Cotu while we were away! Savanah was so loving and caring with our 13 year old dog. Cotu looked so right at home and loved in all the photos. Excellent communication, and everything was just perfect! Even with last-minute changes, she helped in every possible way. Thank you so much, Savanah! We’ll definitely be booking her again!

Sitters in Greater London may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
