About: I've been caring for dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. Growing up, animals were always part of our family, and throughout the years I've looked after pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I've cared for both large and small dogs, from powerful breeds like Rottweilers to little Yorkshire Terriers, as well as many cats over the years. Our most recent family cat, Nina, was with us for 14 wonderful years, giving me first-hand experience with every stage of a pet's life, from playful kittenhood to senior care. With over 40 years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats, I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. About: I am an experienced dog walker, and have been responsible for walking my heavy boxer George through varied terrains. I would often walk more than one dog, as I have cared for my neighbors dogs before, who are a bit smaller than my boxer. I was responsible for my dogs behavior training, medication management (including regular and important medications now my George is an older boy) and trick training. I’ve also cared for my cat Izzy since she was a kitten, ensuring her well being and understanding feline behavior. My wonderful families often book several months in advance and my calendars are kept up to date weekly to reflect my availability * I live in the Coombe area (KT1) and am able to make visits within a 20 minute radius by bicycle (areas include Kingston-upon-Thames, Merton, Richmond-upon-Thames, Epsom and Ewell). I also have a car for emergency transportation. During my visit I will happily feed, groom, cuddle and play with your pet or, alternatively offer them a calm stroke or simply presence... whatever their personality would enjoy. I will clean bowls, top up water and food and clean litter trays as needed and keep you updated with photos and videos for your peace of mind. I am also happy to do jobs during my visit such as putting out bins on collection day and watering plants to make your life a little bit easier too. I am very happy to meet you and your pets beforehand if you would like me to be your sitter. I have a clear DBS (Criminal Record Check), which can be viewed upon request. Tamy is AMAZING! I never imagined that I would find someone who far surpassed my expectations for a dog sitter/walker. She is so much more than this. My partner and I recently went away for a long holiday, and Tamy lovingly cared for our 7-year-old Jack Russel mix and 8-year-old Kerry Blue Terrier. Our boys have a crazy, complicated dynamic, and she was able to work with both of them so well. She immediately gained their trust, and they have quickly fallen in love with her. She kept us updated daily with pictures and voice messages. We literally could not have asked for more.
Nick did a great job walking our dog Otis. He was available at short notice, quick to respond to my messages, arrived on time and sent a nice photo and update. All in all a seamless experience, especially as we weren’t at home so Nick had to let himself in. I would happily trust Nick with Otis again.
