“Jack has looked after our dog daphne numerous times, and she absolutely adores him. He pays so much attention to her, takes her on lots of walks, and plays with her and is really diligent. He has had daphne overnight and also when she was on some medication which he administered perfectly. Whenever daphne goes around to his house she gets so excited which we feel is a really good barometer of how good Jack is with her. We couldn’t recommend jack more!”

About: I fully appreciate the special requirements of dogs at all stages of life as I have two beloved 13-year-old dogs of my own. Whether you're dealing with an energetic puppy, focusing on dental health, or managing medications for older dogs, I'm here to support you in providing the best possible care for your furry friend. I’m currently working part-time, and my wife works from home, so your furry friends will never be alone at home as my dogs and family will always be there to provide company and care. We can't wait to meet you and your adorable pet!
11. Iuliia Z.
“Julia and Igor looked after our dog, Belisco, twice this year, and both times were fantastic. They were so attentive and made sure to send us daily photos and updates, which we really appreciated. Belisco looked so happy and comfortable, and it's clear he enjoyed his time with them. We'll definitely be boarding Belisco with them again.”
12. Rhian B.
“Rhian looked after my dog Ruby multiple times and does a great job. She is very caring and clearly loves dogs. Would highly recommend her.”
13. Sharon B.
“Sharon is a caring and thoughtful person. She worked as a paediatric physio for several years looking after and treating young children and babies with serious conditions. Some of the parents even asked her to do some private work for them as she had built such a good rapport with them and their children. She has recently used her skills working as a receptionist for an out of hours vets and has also helped out a friend with her dog walking duties. Sharon has also had her own pets…either dogs and/or cats whilst she lived at home and then being adopted by a cat ‘Tinkerbell’ who decided she would rather live with Sharon than in her current crowded home - this was in full agreement with her original family who already had 3 other cats, 2 dogs and 2 children. Tinkerbell was loved and exceptionally well cared for by Sharon and had a good long life and Sharon would provide the same amount of care and attention for any animal/pet that was put in her care. Both my husband and I have named Sharon in our wills as one of the people to take on any pets that we may have at the time.”
14. Matt C.
“Matt is brilliant with Chase, he has always been on time for walks and Chase seems to have enjoyed his company. We are very happy to have found him.”
15. Amyie L.
About: I have taken care of dogs since a young age. I have always had pets in the home from as long as I can remember. I moved out of my parent’s home a few years ago, and I’m currently at university so can’t get a pet full-time at the moment. I have trained puppies, including a Staffordshire bull terrier. If I go to a gathering at someone’s home, I am the person who will sit with their pets the whole time! (Haha). I love all types of animals, but especially dogs! I’d make sure to give them plenty of cuddles, belly rubs, walks, and treats if they are allowed. I’d listen to you as an owner and do everything I could to make your pets experience the best they could have. I’m a bubbly and energetic person, so would be able to play and keep up with the dog no matter what age! I’d love to do a meet and greet, so you can feel comfortable with who you’re leaving your beloved pet with! I’m currently at university 3 days a week. Two of those days are half days and I’m free the rest of the time! So will have plenty of time to do fun things with your beloved pet! I currently live in a flat, but will be happy for the dogs to come around. I also have a large communal garden, and many parks near where I live. I’m happy to play with them outside or inside and cater to any wishes you may have! I can also come to your home if you wish.

19. Kavya K.
About: 🐶Hello! My name is Kavya and I am 20. I spent the last year (2023) on Rover, looking after pets full-time during my gap year, where I was also applying to study veterinary medicine. My path changed, and I am now working in pharmaceutical marketing. The best thing is that this role gives me the flexibility to work from home - allowing me to resume my love of taking care of animals again! 🌟I have built up extensive experience & knowledge around animal behaviour over the past few years, which I detail below. 🩷I’ve always wanted a pet of my own, but I don’t think my family are ready to commit to such a huge responsibility! Your fur babies would be treated like a part of our family, and I truly believe I can provide a home away from home experience for them. Living with my family, they are guaranteed a lot of attention and personal care!! ✏️I’ve had many experiences with animals over the past 3 years from my time on Rover & when I was building my work experience portfolio for university. I am always dogsitting for my friends; I also volunteer at a cat hotel and hedgehog rescue every Saturday and Sunday, so I am very experienced with dogs, cats and wildlife. 🐹I love animals of all kind and feel truly comfortable around them all! I’ve been responsible for many tasks, and can confidently do things like grooming, aiding in flea/worming treatments, clipping nails and even brushing teeth if needed! I love dogs of all sizes and breeds, male or female. I’ve looked after dogs as big as cane corsos, and as little as chihuahuas. I am more than happy to care for any pet - as long as they are friendly and love cuddles! (I do tend to have a soft spot for older animals!!! Also love big dogs!) Please read the *** at the end of this description before booking :) 🟣I work from home, so I can look after 1 pet at a time (up to 2 for low energy dogs & more if they are from the same family). I’m also available all day Saturday and Sunday. 🟢I have high fencing around my garden. The gate leading to my garden is a little short but can easily be blocked in place - whenever dogs are over we place a dustbin on one side/both sides to prevent access. 🌳Regarding exercise, I have massive fields behind my house, which are perfect for long walks to release energy! There will always be someone at my house to accompany your dog if I am ever out. I feel it is really important to ensure they are not alone. ***My daycare rate is £30 (£33 for puppies) for up to 10 hours of care. If daycare is required for longer, the charge will be £40 (£45 for puppies).***
20. Phoebe S.
“Phoebe looked after our 2 dogs twice while we went away on holiday, she has been fantastic and the dogs also took a liking to her as the second time they were so excited to see her! Would recommend to anyone local looking for someone to look after any pet.”
