“Daisy loved being looked after Lyudmila, she didn't want to leave. The communication was also nice and prompt. When we need daycare again next time I know who to ask first for someone I can trust. Thank you for all the photos too!”

About: I have loved dogs and cats all my life. When i was little I wanted to become a vet so I can be closer to them, groom them, make them better, etc. I always adored washing them, brushing them, etc. But most importantly sleeping with them. I lived in a flat without any pets for a short period of time and it felt so "not home". I come from a family where we always had animals around and they were valued family members. Life had different plans and I didn't become a vet, but a nurse. And I have been looking after people for the past decade. But that doesn't mean cats and dogs are no longer my passion. They are my biggest hobby and my favourite therapy. All my friends count on me when it comes about pet sitting. I also got 2 cats of my own which I adore and that could not live without. I have a hybrid job, with at least one day from home weekly, sometimes two. I also have all weekends off. I am crazy about doggy day care but boarding too. I can also do local visits, both cats and dogs. I have a fenced garden. A spacious house. Two very low energy cats who like living in their own space. They don t like other cats in their environment but they accept dogs. If needed they can be separated as the house is on 2 levels

About: Hi, I'm Angela! I live in a three-adult household of dog lovers with no children. We don’t have any other pets but have previously owned a Shih Tzu and a Golden Retriever who were both happy and healthy and lived to 17 and 14 years respectively so your dogs will be in great care. I am also physically active and will have no issues getting them the exercise and training they will need. I live in a privately owned flat in Sutton, with easy access to multiple green spaces and which is a 15-minute walk to a 24-hour vet. Your dog and their needs will fit seamlessly right into my routine. I'm a recent Masters graduate from UCL and currently on the hunt for a permanent job. This means I have a lot of time on my hands to spend looking after your dogs and giving them all the love, attention, and play time they deserve including weekdays and weekends. I am an active individual and typically start every other day with a run (or walk) around the neighbourhood which I would love to have your dog be a part of depending on their physical ability. I am also hoping to ease back into hiking and would be more than happy to have your dog with me if appropriate, and of course with all the necessary care being taken. The rest of my days are typically spent at home cooking and job searching, and in my spare time, having a quiet day in, leaving me available to spend time around your dog. If I do go out, it's just down the high street and around the area or to the city, which if appropriate, could involve your dog by my side! I believe a routine is incredibly important for all dogs and will take the utmost care sticking to the routine you have established with your dogs (e.g., meal and potty schedule, play time, down time, etc.) I live in a 3-adult household with no children and no other pets, but have cared for a puppy briefly so the flat is puppy (and dog) proof. I have some prior experience crate training a 3 month old puppy and so should have no problem introducing or enforcing this with your dog for longer or recurring stays. I can also work on other basic training with your dog (e.g., sit, stay, lie down, paw, drop/leave it, etc.) While I do live in a spacious flat, I have no private garden. However, I am surrounded by dog friendly green spaces, with the nearest park being less than a 5-minute walk away. In case of any emergencies, the nearest 24-hour vet is only a 14-minute walk/3-minute Uber from me.
“Megan was great - so accommodating with a last minute booking, and flexible around our timings. Huxley seemed very happy there, especially after an ‘enrichment bowl’ made for him by Megan, and a nice long walk. Photos were shared and updates/communication throughout the day. Would highly recommend, and certainly hope to lean on Megan for future doggy daycare needs 😊”

“Our 12 week old puppy had a lovely time with Grace and her family. He came back very relaxed and happy. This was his first time being in someone else’s house without us and he seemed to feel at home, playing with Grace’s sisters dogs happily. I received lots of updates and pictures. Would definitely recommend and hope to use her again soon!”

I’ll treat your pets as if they were my own, giving them lots of love and attention. I work from home, which means I can give pets plenty of company, attention and regular toilet breaks throughout the day. “Natasha was incredibly accommodating and great with Tiny. She clearly has good experience with dogs and made sure Tiny had a wonderful time. I’d definitely book with her again in the future!”

About: I worked at a doggy daycare for 2 years, as a van driver, carer and also dog boarding. Myself and my mum have dog boarded for over 13 years. I have been doing self employed doggy walks/boarding for 5 years now looking after many different breeds and some still come to me from the daycare I used to work. I work from home with my full time job 3 days of the week. Living with my family. I currently work full time. However, I work from home 3 days a week. Working from home means I can be at home with them. I'm in the office Wednesdays and Thursdays, but I am home latest 4:30 to then be with them in the evenings. I have a fenced garden. I have a porch door so no one can run out the front door. The garden is quite big and enough space for them to run around. I also have a park over the road if they are not good in cars.

“I was a bit worried leaving Kasper for the first time, as he is only 6 month old, but Sarah was so lovely and I could see that she would take great care of him. She took her time to talk through any special requirements and it was clear that she really wants get to know him well before our holiday later in the summer.”
“Ana has been great from start to finish. Her communication was excellent and I felt comfortable leaving my 4 month old pup with her for the day. I received updates and pictures during the day - and a happy dog on collection. I will definitely be using Ana again, and have no hesitation in recommending her to others. Thank you.”

About: Although I haven’t worked as a professional dog sitter yet, I’ve regularly cared for friends’ dogs by feeding them, taking them on walks, playing with them, and keeping them company while their owners were out. I’m responsible, trustworthy, and genuinely love being around dogs, and I’m excited to provide the same level of care for Rover pet parents. I’m currently available most days, including weekdays and weekends, with a flexible schedule. I can usually accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening bookings. About: I'm experienced in walking, playing, training, cleaning, and taking care of every kind of dog (all ages and sizes). I have a lot of experience with puppies, senior, needy, and nervous dogs too. I volunteered for dogs in my hometown dog pound since I was 14. I live with my husband, and we don't have children or pets. In case your dog doesn't like to be around children or other pets - they would feel very comfortable and safe at ours. I'm also available for boarding any time of the week if your pup is most comfortable at home. I currently work from home full-time. My work schedule is flexible and can be easily tailored to fit your dog's needs. Lots of walks and playtime as I can take as many breaks during my workday as needed. I live in a house, so noisy dogs are not a problem for us at all. We have a fenced garden and there's a vast recreational ground right near my house where I can take a dog for a potty break during the day. Daily longer walks in the nearby parks - Morden or Beddington.

Keshav, our Golden Retriever, had a wonderful stay with Christian. He enjoyed a well-balanced day with plenty of rest and enjoyable walks. Communication throughout his stay was excellent, and Christian kept us updated regularly with messages and photos, which gave us great peace of mind. We wouldn't hesitate to leave Keshav with Christian again and would happily recommend him to other dog owners.

Mifan stayed with Jess while we were playing matches in a tennis tournament at the very close AELTC Community Centre. Mifan loved her days spent with Jess, as we could tell from her excitement when returning to Jess's house the next days. Jess was so accommodating to our changing schedule of drop off and pick up times. We will certainly see if Jess is available again if we are back down in London.

Cydney looked after our two 13 week old puppies Barney & Simba as we had a family bbq and I was worried keeping the pups at home with so many people there! Cyd was amazing. I was so nervous letting my precious new babies out of my sight for the first time but they had a fantastic day with Cyd & her family. Both boys came home so tired from a fun filled day of playing and went straight to sleep. I will definitely be using Cydney for all future doggy daycare dates going forward! Thanks for the best day - Love Barney & Simba xxx

Anastasia has been absolutely wonderful with our dog, Snow. From the moment we met her, she was kind, caring, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. She kept us updated, made sure Snow was happy and well looked after, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. It’s such a relief to know your dog is in safe, loving hands. Snow came home happy, relaxed, and clearly enjoyed her time with Anastasia. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and caring dog sitter. Thank you so much, Anastasia!

We couldn't be happier with Otto's first experience at doggy day care. Georgina was incredibly caring, knowledgeable, and made Otto feel welcome from the moment he arrived. Throughout the day, Georgina sent us lots of lovely photos and updates, which really put our minds at ease. It was clear that Otto had an amazing time socialising and playing, and he came home happy and very tired! Knowing that Otto was being looked after so well made the whole experience stress-free for us. We would highly recommend Georgina's doggy day care to anyone looking for a safe, caring, and fun environment for their dog.

Keshav (our Golden Retriever) has been having a wonderful time with Marcia. He settled in very quickly from day one, and since then has enjoyed well-balanced days filled with walks, playtime, and plenty of time to rest and recharge. Marcia has a fantastic understanding of dogs and their individual needs, and it really shows. Keshav comes home happy, relaxed, and content after every visit. Even more telling, he's genuinely excited to see Marcia each morning, which says everything about how comfortable and happy he is in her care. Communication throughout the day has been excellent. As first-time owners leaving him in a new environment, we were naturally a little nervous at first, but Marcia quickly put our minds at ease with regular updates, messages, and photos. She has a real knack for capturing perfectly timed photos of our fur baby, and we genuinely look forward to receiving them throughout the day. Seeing how well Keshav is being cared for has been incredibly reassuring, and we couldn't be happier with the care and attention he receives.

- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
