Clara was great as always! We left our Christmas plans a little short notice, but Clara was super gracious! Both cats were well taken care of, so we were at complete ease while we were away!

About: I have loved dogs and cats all my life. When i was little I wanted to become a vet so I can be closer to them, groom them, make them better, etc. I always adored washing them, brushing them, etc. But most importantly sleeping with them. I lived in a flat without any pets for a short period of time and it felt so "not home". I come from a family where we always had animals around and they were valued family members. Life had different plans and I didn't become a vet, but a nurse. And I have been looking after people for the past decade. But that doesn't mean cats and dogs are no longer my passion. They are my biggest hobby and my favourite therapy. All my friends count on me when it comes about pet sitting. I also got 2 cats of my own which I adore and that could not live without. I have a hybrid job, with at least one day from home weekly, sometimes two. I also have all weekends off. I am crazy about doggy day care but boarding too. I can also do local visits, both cats and dogs. I have a fenced garden. A spacious house. Two very low energy cats who like living in their own space. They don t like other cats in their environment but they accept dogs. If needed they can be separated as the house is on 2 levels

We were Junes first booking and I would definitely use her again! She looked after our 4 cats and was very understanding about some issues with our two geriatric sisters, let us fully updated and spent more time than we expected with them. Even our nervous cat was friendly by the end of her visits!

About: Hi there! I’m Stacy, a pet sitter based in Sutton, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up surrounded by pets — I have three family pets back home in Siberia, whom I dearly miss. I first started pet sitting for friends, and since I work mostly from home, I decided to turn my passion into something more. I offer dog walking, pet sitting, boarding, and overnight care. Before any booking, I like to meet your pet so I can get to know their personality, routine, and any medical needs — that way they feel comfortable and cared for right from the start. I’m experienced with both dogs and cats, and I’m happy to help with feeding, medication, and following special routines. My daily rate for pet sitting is £40. If you’re looking for a caring and reliable sitter in Sutton, I’d love to chat and meet your furry friend! I work from home and can work part-time as a pet sitter from anywhere. Currently would prefer to work Friday-Sunday if I were to board the pet or stay at your house, but I am flexible. I live in a pet-friendly apartment in one of the new developments in Sutton, near Manor Park, easily accessible. I am very pet-friendly, so pets are welcome to sleep with me if they wish to.

About: Hi there London/Surrey dog and cat-owners! 🐾 I'm a 27 year-old female living in Sutton, and am a passionate animal lover 😻. I have two cats of my own (Oliver and Smarties) and grew up with cats ever since I was a baby, so I have lots of experience owning and looking after cats! I also have had lots of of experience with dogs, looking after family and friends’. I am a very quick learner, so if there are any specifics I need to pick up for your pets, you can be sure they are in very safe hands. I am a Civil Servant and work in central London, but am happy to travel. I currently work very flexibly, with a mixture of in-office and working from home, and I can choose which days I go in to fit around my schedule.

About: In my family home we’ve had over 8 dogs - currently 5 as you can see in my picture! That means I have heaps of experience when it comes to looking after breeds of all different personalities, shapes and sizes. Now I’ve left home to live in London, I take whatever opportunities I can to look after my friends pets while they’re away and feel they have always been very happy with the job I’ve done I currently work from home 3 days a week. And I go into the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, leaving me free from Thursday to Monday In general, I’m a very reliable, trustworthy and friendly person. Having grown up around dogs and just being a genuine animal lover, I understand how important they are to people and their families. I would never do anything to put your dogs safety in jeopardy and my experience looking after dogs also means that I am aware of potential risks, something which unfortunately many are not aware of. Not only will your dog be kept safe but it will be loved and made as comfortable as possible at home in my spacious 2 bed flat, where they will also have the use of a garden (this is currently not fully fenced so this will be via the use of a lead). We also have nice parks nearby which we will be sure to use for walking as to your dog’s delight I am also an avid step-counter!

About: Hello! I’m Anna a lifelong cat lover with over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for my own boy, Prince, who I adored for over a decade. I understand cats deeply, their personalities, their moods, their routines, and their boundaries. I’m gentle, patient, and very tuned in to how animals feel. I’ve looked after anxious cats, affectionate cats, playful cats, and older cats who needed extra comfort. Because I recently lost my own cat, I have a huge soft spot for making other people’s pets feel loved, safe, and calm while their owners are away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every cat as if they were my own.

About: I have owned 2 Jack Russell’s for 16 years, and also a dachshund so I have experience with dogs, I find them amazing company, I love taking them on long walks and having a cuddle on the sofa!! I work most of the week but I work 10-4 on Thursdays so I am free anytime after 4 and I am free every Friday, I am also available Saturdays and Sundays too if I do not have plans. I live in a top floor maisonette with a garden which is accessible from the front door and down the side of the house, I would go into the garden with the dog so it is not left on its own especially if it is dark. I have a 14 year old boy who adores dogs too!

June is an amazing cat sitter! My cat is been checked twice a day, fed, gave his medication, and cuddled and on my way back he looked relaxed. I feel so happy found Clara, she’s awesome! From day one, she stuck to my girls’ routine perfectly and really paid attention to all the little details. Her daily updates were great, always detailed, with super cute photos of my girls and clear notes on how they were doing. It honestly gave me so much peace of mind. When she noticed one of my cats had a slightly weird-looking eye, she told me right away and even checked in again the next day to make sure everything was okay. That kind of care means a lot. She’s also really easy to talk to—super friendly and quick to reply. And you can tell she genuinely loves cats. She treats them with so much care and affection. I’d recommend her 200% without hesitation. If you want someone who’ll treat your cats like her own, Clara is the person 🐾💖

Yes, absolutely! Many sitters on Rover are experienced in caring for multiple pets simultaneously, whether you have a pack of dogs, a clowder of cats, or a mix of both.

Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other Sutton pet parents with similar pet households.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Sutton choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 88% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
