About: Hi there! I’m Stacy, a pet sitter based in Sutton, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up surrounded by pets — I have three family pets back home in Siberia, whom I dearly miss. I first started pet sitting for friends, and since I work mostly from home, I decided to turn my passion into something more. I offer dog walking, pet sitting, boarding, and overnight care. Before any booking, I like to meet your pet so I can get to know their personality, routine, and any medical needs — that way they feel comfortable and cared for right from the start. I’m experienced with both dogs and cats, and I’m happy to help with feeding, medication, and following special routines. My daily rate for pet sitting is £40. If you’re looking for a caring and reliable sitter in Sutton, I’d love to chat and meet your furry friend! I work from home and can work part-time as a pet sitter from anywhere. Currently would prefer to work Friday-Sunday if I were to board the pet or stay at your house, but I am flexible. I live in a pet-friendly apartment in one of the new developments in Sutton, near Manor Park, easily accessible. I am very pet-friendly, so pets are welcome to sleep with me if they wish to.

Booked Hannah for a 60 minute drop in and she did a fantastic job. I got a very detailed note of her time with Coco which was lovely. They went for a nice walk and then played and had cuddles. Hannah is very professional and I highly recommend her. I will be booking her in again soon. Thank you for looking after my Coco.

About: Whilst growing up, I have been constantly surrounded by animals. From owning chickens to geckos. Most importantly me and my family had a toy poodle “Dylan”. Dylan recently passed away at the age of 12 a few months ago and with a LOAD of free time after university dog sitting seems like a perfect opportunity. For a few years now I have been looking after friend’s dogs and cats whilst they have been away and I am more than confident I can do an excellent job. As a recently Graduated University student I have more than enough time on my hands. Lots of my time as of late has been spent lounging at home and going for “brunch walks”. Adding a pet into this routine would do more than fit in, it would add so much to my day. There is no third party assistance used under my care Since Im currently living at home, there is a WHOLE family house for your pet to enjoy. It also helps my siblings have moved out meaning plenty of rooms to explore. I have a fenced off garden with more than enough space, and toys left over from our old family dog. There is plenty of green spaces around, and a lovely pet community at any park around.

We couldn’t be happier with Neetal. Meli, our 15‑week‑old dachshund, absolutely adores her — tail wagging the moment she arrives. She’s fantastic with updates throughout each visit, always quick to respond, and genuinely so accommodating. It’s such a relief knowing Meli is in such caring hands. Truly couldn’t recommend a better sitter. So pleased 💛🐶

I can't recommend Tulips enough! Professional, reliable & replies quickly. She managed my 3 needy Ragdolls (incl. 2 lively kittens) perfectly. One was purring on her lap by the 2nd visit! Frequent photo updates kept me at ease. Came home to very happy cats as if I'd never left. I will certainly be booking her again. Highly recommended!

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with cats and have regularly looked after friends’ dogs and cats, as well as feeding and checking in on my neighbours’ cats while they’ve been away. I know every pet has their own personality and routine, so I always take the time to make them feel comfortable and cared for. I’ll treat your pets as if they were my own, giving them lots of love and attention. I work from home, which means I can give pets plenty of company, attention and regular toilet breaks throughout the day. I work from home full-time, which gives me the flexibility to fit pet care around my day. Whether your pet needs feeding, fresh water, walks, litter tray cleaning, medication (if required), or simply some company while you’re away, I’m happy to work around their usual routine Your pet’s safety, comfort and happiness will always be my priority. I’ll carefully follow your instructions, and stick to your pet’s usual routine to help them feel settled while you’re away. Every pet is different, so I’ll adapt my care to suit their personality and needs.

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I have over 20 years of experience as a dog owner, caring for three dogs in Hong Kong and now my own dog Luca here in the UK. Over the years, I have learned that every dog has their own personality, routine and needs, and I believe patience and understanding are the keys to providing good care. Before becoming a full-time dog walker, I worked for 4 years as a support worker, where I developed strong skills in responsibility, patience and caring for others. I bring the same level of care and attention when looking after your dogs. I offer solo walks, small group walks (normally no more than 2 dogs from different households), drop-in visits, puppy care and senior dog care. I take the time to understand each dog’s needs, follow your instructions carefully, and provide updates with photos so you can have peace of mind while your dog is with me. Your dog will be treated with the same love, patience and respect as my own. * ✅ 20+ years of dog ownership experience * ✅ DBS checked * ✅ Pet business insurance * ✅ NARPS UK member * ✅ Photo & update after every walk * ✅ Small group walks (maximum 2 unrelated dogs) I’m now focusing on my dog walking and pet care business, so I have plenty of time to give your dog attention and care. I’m available for walks and drop-in visits on weekdays and weekends. I have over 20 years of experience caring for dogs and understand every dog has different needs. I provide a safe, calm environment with a secure garden, and I always prioritise your dog’s comfort and wellbeing.

Connor was kind enough to help me out at short notice and came to my house to sit with my pup for a few hours. Communication was great from the outset - Connor was super friendly and punctual and immediately a clear hit with Ted! I had absolute confidence in leaving him (and the house) in Connor’s care and came home to a very happy and tired pup, who’d been spoilt rotten with cuddles and ball games 😊 I would have no hesitation in recommending Connor to anyone looking for someone kind and trustworthy to look after their pets. We hope to see you again soon!

She looked after our 4 cats and was very understanding about some issues with our two geriatric sisters, let us fully updated and spent more time than we expected with them. Even our nervous cat was friendly by the end of her visits!

About: In my family home we’ve had over 8 dogs - currently 5 as you can see in my picture! That means I have heaps of experience when it comes to looking after breeds of all different personalities, shapes and sizes. Now I’ve left home to live in London, I take whatever opportunities I can to look after my friends pets while they’re away and feel they have always been very happy with the job I’ve done I currently work from home 3 days a week. And I go into the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, leaving me free from Thursday to Monday In general, I’m a very reliable, trustworthy and friendly person. Having grown up around dogs and just being a genuine animal lover, I understand how important they are to people and their families. I would never do anything to put your dogs safety in jeopardy and my experience looking after dogs also means that I am aware of potential risks, something which unfortunately many are not aware of. Not only will your dog be kept safe but it will be loved and made as comfortable as possible at home in my spacious 2 bed flat, where they will also have the use of a garden (this is currently not fully fenced so this will be via the use of a lead). We also have nice parks nearby which we will be sure to use for walking as to your dog’s delight I am also an avid step-counter!

About: Hello! I’m Anna a lifelong cat lover with over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for my own boy, Prince, who I adored for over a decade. I understand cats deeply, their personalities, their moods, their routines, and their boundaries. I’m gentle, patient, and very tuned in to how animals feel. I’ve looked after anxious cats, affectionate cats, playful cats, and older cats who needed extra comfort. Because I recently lost my own cat, I have a huge soft spot for making other people’s pets feel loved, safe, and calm while their owners are away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every cat as if they were my own.

Always seamless with Jane. She has looked after my senior cat Bronson a few times now. He us diabetic so has daily insulin injections that Jane can administer for me so I know he is in safe hands. Jane always spends time with him and sends me lots of pictures and updates so I can fully relax while I'm away. Highly recommend especially if you have pets that need injections.

Aleksandra took very good care of our cat Ethan. We came back from holiday finding him well, relaxed and chilled. Aleksandra gave us regular updates, with pictures and notes. I found she’s very reliable and trustworthy. Aleksandra is also very approachable, and considerate in the way she took care of Ethan and looked after some small things like where to bin the food punches to avoid them to smell in the heatwave. I can’t recommend Julia highly enough! She took such amazing care of my cat while I was away for two weeks. She didn’t just feed him, she genuinely looked after him and treated him like her own. During the heatwave, she even brought extra cold treats and added water to his food to make sure he stayed hydrated. Every visit included time playing with him and giving him attention, rather than simply coming in and leaving. My cat is very shy and usually takes a long time to warm up to new people, but he loved Julia from their very first meeting. That alone says so much about how kind and caring she is. Knowing he was with someone who truly loves cats meant I could completely relax and enjoy my trip without worrying about his wellbeing. Julia was always on time, reliable and went above and beyond in every way. She is simply the best cat sitter I could have asked for!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Sutton choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 90% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
