Aimee was absolutely FANTASTIC with my cat. My cat is 13 years old and she is pretty shy with any strangers and I was worried she would just hide under the bed the whole time however she warmed up to Aimee really quickly (record time for my girl). Aimee played with my cat, kept her entertained, fed her, administered her medication and really look after her so well. Aimee took multiple photos of my cat for me daily which really gave me peace of mind. Aimee is lovely and really fast to respond. I highly recommend Aimee and would absolutely book with her in the future. THANK YOU Aimee for taking such amazing care of my Valentine!

About: I've loved dogs all my life and have experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes and personalities. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, happy and well cared for while you're away.Whether it's a fun walk, a drop-in visit, feeding, playtime or simply keeping your dog company, I'll make sure they receive the same love and attention I'd want for my own pet. I'm reliable, trustworthy and committed to keeping you updated with messages and photos, so you can relax knowing your dog is in safe hands. Caring for pets is my primary focus, so I have open, flexible availability for both house sitting and drop-in visits. During house stays, your pets will receive dedicated attention, maintaining their usual feeding, playtime, and routine without interruption. For drop-ins, I can easily adapt to your preferred times to keep your pets happy, well-fed, and entertained. Managing my own multi-pet home every day keeps me naturally organized, reliable, and attentive to every routine. Safety and piece of mind are my top priorities when caring for your pets in your home. I respect your space and strictly adhere to your established house rules, security measures, and care instructions. During drop-ins and house sitting, I ensure all doors, windows, and gates remain fully secure. I am experienced in identifying potential home hazards and monitoring pet behavior for any signs of distress or health changes. You will receive regular photo and text updates so you know your pets and home are in safe, loving hands.

About: I have hands-on experience with dogs: in 2021, I assisted a local dog trainer, which gave me insight into training techniques, behavior, and proper care. I’ve personally cared for dogs of my own—my first dog, who had a liver condition, lived with me until the age of 8. Currently, I have a lively 2-year-old dog, so I understand the daily needs, energy levels, and attention dogs require. I am working remotely, and only part time, so I can bring all my free time to the dogs. Also, it is good experience to switch the attention to the dogs and be active, because sitting is not good for health At my home: Your dog will have a safe, comfortable environment with plenty of playtime, walks, and interaction. I maintain a consistent routine for feeding, exercise, and rest, and make sure each dog feels happy and secure. Also, there are no objects that your dog can eat or that can cause some problems At the owner’s home: I follow your dog’s usual routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions. I ensure your home stays tidy and your dog feels calm and comfortable while you’re away. Walks & outdoor time: I provide walks suited to your dog’s energy level, using safe routes, and always monitor their behavior, ensuring they get enough exercise and mental stimulation.

Megan was an absolute dream. We met her before we went away and she was really polite, professional and really personable. My cat instantly took a liking to her as well as my children 😂. Getting updates after every visit was brilliant and Megan took pictures to share with me. Megan went over and above to check my cat was safe in the evening. Coming home the litter tray and bowls were all clean (my cat makes a mess!) so that was also really lovely. I can't thank Megan enough for looking after my cat and we will be using her again!

About: I grew up looking after puppies and mothers who were strays in Pamir. When I came to the Uk at 8. I couldn’t get a dog for a while. Until 5 years ago. I got Caesar, a German shepherd named after our childhood pet back home who was also a GSD. Now Caesar has a friend Luna who also lives on site. They are highly trained and able to walk without a leash, on command as well as being trained to open doors and performing circuits and tricks. My background is psychology and I have the perfect garden and insulated shed with heating. The size of the kennels is large and the shed is insulated with windows. I have a live camera system and can also monitor the dogs health overnight. For puppies, sick or special needs dogs we can also make arrangements and I would not charge extra for this as a good will gesture to humanity. I will check on the dogs every 15 minutes on the application and they get let out every 2 hours for 15 minutes and 3 a day for 30 minutes and mixed with others for mental stimulation. This is where a psychologist with behavioural understanding can help. While your dog stay with us you don’t have to worry about collecting your dog with worse behaviours but may in fact see a more confident and calm dog. I’m an active individual playing sports and volunteering. My dog goes everywhere with me. I am available 7 days a week and do not have any extra curricular commitments meaning a dog under my care comes with assurance and trust that your pet will be looked after with empathy and consistency. I have a fenced garden with 2 meter high fences, with a patio, up to 40 meters by 9 meters with some areas being designated for toilet area and play area for Hygiene management. Litter is picked up and not left out. Outside the house, 1 minute away is a giant private field not next to a road but in between residential properties. This is 100 meters by 60 meters and another area for the dogs to play. 3 minutes walk is a giant 1 acre field with more behind it. It’s great open space suitable for large dogs or high energy breeds. The garden is a standard garden, no animals or bugs, with slugs and other critters being removed through careful landscaping techniques to prevent dangerous situations such as a dog eating a deadly snail/slug. Or for dogs with bee allergies, there aren’t many flowers but bees are present just not that many.

About: I’ve always owned kitties, from when I was young with my childhood best friend (cat) Tiger, to now with my two beautiful fur babies. I’ve looked after many cats and dogs in the past of all backgrounds, from those who prefer to be alone and those that love to cuddle. My mum owned a dog-sitting business while I was growing up, and I had helped out many times, from dog sitting, check-ups to dog-walking :) (Chester's Dog-Walking 5 years +) - Easily Manipulated, will provide many cuddles and (with permission) plenty of treats! - I ensure all litterboxes are clean whenever I come to visit! I'm currently working part-time while on my break after University, so I have plenty of time to look after your fur-babies. I am completely flexible when it comes to cat-sitting, feel free to reach out if you're ever in need of someone. I am happy to do dog-sitting at any time of the day depending on my schedule - be sure to reach out and discuss if you're curious! Because of how daunting it can be leaving your pets when you have a trip, I am happy to send photos and updates on how your babies are doing while you're away. I always ensure litter-boxes have been cleaned, the area is clean and pets are happy before I leave! I am happy to do dog-sitting within the owner's home, I can work with dogs of any background whether that's energetic or shy! Depending on the dogs needs, I work with the owner to provide services specific to your dog.

About: Hi I'm Chloe and I am Top of the Pups Pet Services! I have been an animal lover all my life, having had a variety of pets of my own over 29 years - my dog Harley for 10 of those years - and caring for pets of friends' and family when they have been away/on holiday. Sadly since Harley passed we have not been able to have another dog of our own, but I am still a crazy dog lady at heart, and hence why I would love to look after your fluffy bundles of joy! While I was furloughed I had a lot more time on my hands than usual and for me spending it looking after animal pals was time well spent! I am now fully licensed and doing pet care services full time, so I need at minimum 4-6 weeks notice, ideally more for boarding bookings, but will try to squeeze you in if I can. I appreciate other sections of the profile may indicate shorter notice periods but that is down to the limitations of how Rover formats the app. The earlier the request the better, so I can arrange meet and greets and go over your pet's info that I will require under my licensing in advance of confirming a booking. Please ignore the calendar on here for my availability as I don't tend to use it as my bookings/routine can vary. As my household is all adults (I live my mother and sister) there's no worry about being overwhelmed with too many characters to keep an eye on or potential accidents with children, and as we all have experience with animals, if anything were to happen, or I needed an extra pair of hands, I have their support available to help me. (At times when they are not free to help me I have 2 emergency contacts who are also experienced with animal care.) I am afraid I cannot take on cats in our home as my sister is allergic. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have, I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your lovely doggos! xx Currently I have regulars that I walk in and around my local area Monday-Saturday, as well a daycare dogs in my home. Where possible I accommodate daycare and boarding bookings once meet and greets have been done to confirm its a good fit for everyone. I am DBS checked, have completed a canine body language, behaviour and welfare qualification, am first aid trained and have done many different dog focused workshops and courses. As I only take on a maximum of 4 dogs/pets at a time, this means your fur baby(s) will have all my attention for playing in the fenced garden, going for walks around the local village, and having lots of cuddles and fuss! Any size dog should not be a problem for me, assuming they are at their point in training where they are not excessively boisterous or pull hard on their lead, but we can always see how we get on during a meet and greet! I predominantly have pets come to my address for daycare and boarding - I have a fenced in garden and all dog related necessities such as beds, crates, toys, first aid kits, balls etc..( I also have rabbit and Guinea Pig necessities from many years of having them as pets). For walking services I normally come to your address depending on what is agreed in advance of the booking.

About: My motto is that it’s my responsibility to make sure that each dog under my care is HAPPY and SAFE. Every day that I’m with your pup, I keep that’s motto at the forefront of my mind. I know who important dogs are to our lives, so it’s my duty to make sure that your pup gets to experience the same kind of love and care that they are familiar with at home. Im a huge dog lover, so making pups as happy as can as can be just comes a second nature to me! Although Ive been a lifelong Dog lover and animal lover, my experience with pups is much more far-reaching than that. I have over 10 years of owning and caring for dogs and currently own four of my own. I’ve cared for quite a few dogs and wouldn’t trade a second of it ! Ive take care of dogs both big and small and loved taking care of all of them equally. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and - greet. It’s a great way to ensure that we are a good fit for one another, which is important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it's always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that l'm a welcome presence here to make friends, and I'm sure we'll be best buddies in no time at all. I am currently very flexible at the moment , which means I am available thought out the week to care for your pets on a weekly basis ,daily basis or whenever you are in need of a sitter ! I know how difficult it is to be away from your best friend, so communication is the name of my game. I'll make sure to send plenty of regular updates with accompanying, pictures so you can see just how much fun your pup and I are having together .I’m happy to send along detailed updates during the stay of your pup!

About: We are parents of a mini sausage dog and she is the centre of our home! We love to play, go on walks and have cuddles. We got Stella as a puppy so are confident looking after other puppies and understand their needs, as well as adult dogs. We both have had pets throughout our lives growing up and love to be around animals. We would love to help you out in caring for your fur babies in our home! I work from home on and off during the week and so will update the week accordingly. My partner is a teacher and so has school holidays completely free. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for 15+ years. Neighbours, friends and family have all relied on me to look after their pets and I’ve recently looked after lots of dogs in the area on BorrowMyDoggy and through Rover. I work from home a few days a week so can be flexible with dog and cat sitting. I’m also available weekends and evenings for walks or for longer stays if you’re going away. I’m skilled in looking after dogs and cats with all temperaments- I can provide personalised care and attention to each furry friend. Living in Wimbledon means I have lots of access to beautiful green spaces and commons and as I’m an active person, your pet will be well looked after with plenty of time outdoors, if appropriate. My partner and I also like to drive out of London for the day to Surrey, Sussex and surrounding areas, so if this works for you and your pet, they can have their own little holiday with us!

We had such a great experience with Natalie and her husband looking after our two timid rescue cats for a long weekend. They were both kind, caring and patient with them, and we felt at ease knowing they were being well looked after while we were away. They kept us regularly updated, which was really reassuring, and even managed to spot both cats a couple of times, which is genuinely a huge win with our two little hiding experts! 😂 We came home to two happy, settled cats, and it was clear they had been in very safe and caring hands. We’d absolutely recommend them and would happily have them look after our Jiggly & Puff again! ❤️

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Tandridge choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 89% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
