About: I have been animal mad since I was 5. My career as a pet sitter and dog walker started with begging owners in the park to hold their dog’s lead as a child! As I reached 10 I signed up for ‘borrow my doggy’ with my dad and cared for a lovely lab for 2 years. I was then lucky enough to get my own dog, Ollie, when I was 12, giving me the sole responsibility of puppy training, house training and care. Ollie is a shy boy and has taught me a lot about the extra sensitivity required around nervous animals. Ollie is now a senior dog so our adventures have turned into more gentle walks and massages to avoid stiffness. I have also pet snd babysit for friends and family over the years on a paid basis. I currently pet sit for a family with one dog and one cat. I typically walk the dog, feed both pets and then snuggle up on the sofa and the pets up on whatever reality tv or crime documentary is currently playing. I am different from other sitters because I simply miss animal company in Oxford and yearn for some pet company (being paid is just a bonus!). As a recent graduate, my day is completely self structured. This means I am able to plan my day around pet care and I welcome all the happy walks and cuddles! About: I’ve been having dogs in my family since I was 5 years old, I grow up loving them as a part of myself. My family, friends and neighbors always gave me the responsibility to take care of their dogs, cats, turtles, rabbits, hamsters, etc. so I have plenty of experience with any kind of pets, i love dogs with all my life, I’m missing my two yorkies back in Bolivia. We couldn't have asked for a better cat sitter! Haasje looked after our cat, Bear, for a week while we were away and gave him plenty of attention and affection. She sent us photos and videos throughout the week, which gave us real peace of mind and showed how happy and comfortable he was. We had such a wonderful experience with Tafana while we were away. She visited our cat Diego every day and always sent us detailed updates, along with lots of photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. Diego can be quite fussy and grumpy and doesn’t trust everyone easily, but Tafana is clearly very experienced with cats. Where do I start? I went on holidays for a weekend and Hayley was an absolute star with Dobby. I was very nervous, since we had just moved houses. But I received her updates every time she was in the house and my little baby loved her so much that gave her a nose bump/cat's kiss!! For all the cat owners over here, you know that when your cat gives a kiss to someone, you can rest reassured that they are living their best life :D I am certainly booking Hayley to look after Dobby every time I am on holidays!
We felt so reassured when we were on holiday while Chloe looked after Teddy. Chloe sent lots of photos and Teddy looked so relaxed, content and happy and we were able to enjoy our time away. Chloe tidied up cat litter, changed the cat’s toilet and made sure his water fountain was topped up. We’re very grateful for Chloe’s help!
