Experienced, Friendly Cat Sitting
Hello! I work in TV Development and I am a cat-worshipper! I've recently moved to London from Glasgow and have my own clan of four cats: Luna (13), Matilda (12), Loki (8) and Astrid (8). I've been mesmerised by cats since I was little - no one knows why! - and always knew that I'd have my own as soon as I was able to. I love all animals and always love hearing about people's pets but I'm particularly drawn to cats. I think I like how they choose carefully who they want to be around and when they want to trust you. It makes it more meaningful when they do form a connection with you. I also think there's something a little bit magical and mysterious about them...

Safety, trust & environment
After looking after cats for many years, I know that they usually need their own space, especially when being looked after by someone new. So I know to respect their boundaries and allow them to approach me if they feel up to it. A lot of cats need a few days to just observe a sitter and get used to them being in their home. Then they usually come round. Of course others are very laid back and curious and want to come to meet me straight away!

As always, Matthew provided excellent care for our cats. One has diabetes and needs two injections a day so it’s great having someone so reliable.
Matt is a wonderful sitter. Sends us updates and pictures, the cats love him. Our home was left spotless. Very thankful to have had him sit for us.
Matthew was purrrfect. Great communication, very efficient and clearly a person who understands cats. Would definately hope to re-book him in future.
Matthew was a great cat sitter. We have a very shy and anxious cat so while he didn't get to see her on his visits, he made sure she was fed and watered every day and provided us with updates.
Matthew is very reliable, great communication and made me feel at ease having him around for my cats. My eldest Sox has to have medication and he did that without issue. Will rebook again.
Matthew looked after our 3 cats, including one who is diabetic and needs 2 injections a day. He was reliable, caring and kept us informed about how they were. Would definitely recommend him to other cat owners.

Schedule
I'm currently self-employed so am very much in charge of my schedule and can usually fit in your catsitting requests around my own work.

- Let me know any medications your cat is on; what times are best for feeding; any typical hiding spots they might go to if they're anxious, and whether or not they are allowed out of the house and how that works.
