About: I’ve grown up around animals and have always loved caring for them! I’ve had my own cat for 8 years and currently have a Staffy puppy, so I’m very comfortable with both cats and dogs. I love keeping pets happy, safe and entertained, and I’m available every weekend and weekdays from around 2–3pm onwards. 🐾❤️ I currently work full-time, with a flexible working schedule that allows me to work both from the office and from home. I’m mainly available after 3pm on weekdays, and I’m available throughout the day at weekends. I’m happy to work around your dog’s routine wherever possible and make sure they receive plenty of care, attention and companionship. 🐾 I’ll make sure your dog feels happy, safe and comfortable in their own home while you’re away. I’ll follow their usual routine, from feeding and walks to playtime, cuddles and plenty of attention. I’ll treat your home with the same care and respect as I would my own, giving you peace of mind that your dog is in loving and reliable hands. 🐾❤️

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals and have always considered them part of the family. I had three dogs when I was younger, and I currently have two cats (I’ve had three at the same time in the past!). I absolutely love animals of all kinds and genuinely treat every animal I meet as if they were my own. I’ve also volunteered for many years with fox rescue and rehabilitation, which gave me experience caring for animals with different needs and personalities. I’m responsible, caring and attentive, and I always want the animals in my care to feel safe, loved and comfortable. I work from home three days a week, so I have quite a lot of flexibility and can adapt my schedule around your pet’s needs. Wednesday is the only day when I’m not available during the day, but I can still do dog walks or visits in the evening after work. I also have my own car, so getting around is no problem, and I can easily travel if something unexpected or urgent comes up. I won’t be offering boarding at my own home, but I’m very happy to care for pets in their own home and take dogs out for walks. I absolutely love walking, so dog walks are something I’d genuinely enjoy! I’m happy to adapt to each pet’s routine and needs and will always make sure they feel safe, comfortable and well cared for.

Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine — I enjoy morning and evening walks, feeding times, play sessions, and keeping pets company throughout the day. It brings joy and structure to my day. About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs and cats my entire life they’ve always felt like family, not pets. That means I know the little things: the anxious pacing before a vet visit, the difference between a bored bark and a worried one, how much reassurance a senior dog needs on stiff mornings. I’m naturally patient and observant, I’m the person who reads every instruction twice and never guesses when it comes to medication or feeding schedules. Your pet won’t just be looked after here. They’ll be genuinely cared for, the way I’d want mine to be. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I have flexible availability throughout the week, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, so I can be consistent with feeding times, walks, and playtime. I prioritize keeping a regular schedule because pets do best with routine, and I build visits or stays around what works for your pet’s normal rhythm Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. In my home, I keep a pet-friendly, secure space free of hazards, with fresh water and a comfortable resting area always available. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow their established routine closely, keep their environment clean and secure, and stay alert to anything unusual in behavior, eating, or energy. I treat every home and pet with the same respect and attentiveness I’d want for my own.

About: I am a huge animal lover, especially dogs. Having been brought up with dogs my whole life, mainly German Shepherds, it would not be the same without a dog in my home. I have taken care of a many different breeds, with various different temperaments over the years. I am patient, caring and responsible. I can offer feedback through photos and video should you require this. I am retired so have plenty of time and flexibility both week days and weekends. I am very fit and enjoy walking, especially with a dog. I have a large house, with a secure garden which allows dogs to roam freely. I only take one dog at a time, so there will be no other dogs sharing the space, home and garden. I can provide a very safe environment for your pet.

We had just taken in an elderly cat when her owner sadly passed right before the Christmas holiday when we were going to visit grieving family. Our elderly lady Petal wasn't in the best shape, incredibly skinny and with bad kidneys. We scrambled to find someone to look after her on such short notice and were very lucky to find Kirsty! She kept Petal company, ensured she was fed and had a clean litterbox. When we returned we were overjoyed to see that she was putting weight back on and was looking so good! Kirsty was genuinely absolutely amazing at dealing with everything, especially as we were so nervous leaving our little lady behind but Kirsty made sure we had nothing to worry about.

About: Hi! I’m a huge animal lover and have been around dogs for most of my life. I grew up with my family dog, Rory, who’s now an amazing 18 years old, so I’ve experienced everything from energetic walks to caring for an older dog who needs a little more patience and attention. My approach is always tailored to them, whether it's sticking to a specific feeding routine, giving medication, taking things at a slower pace, or spending a bit of extra time with a nervous dog. I know how important unique needs and routines can be 🖤 I’m fully DBS checked (can send proof upon request ☺️) and genuinely care about making sure your pet feels safe, happy and well looked after. I always send photo updates during my visits to keep you updated and let you know how they're getting on. I also have a car and do my utmost to be on time and arrive promptly. Don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions, I’d love the chance to meet you and your pet! 😄 I work from home so I can give constant care and attention to your pet. This also includes frequent toilet breaks, snacks throughout the day, and walks. Safety is a no.1 for me. l always ensure doors are shut properly, ensure unsafe/sharp objects on surfaces are moved, food is kept away, and generally observe that there are no safety risks for your pet ☺️

About: Hello! My name is Daniela, mum of 2 rescue cats and a small dog. I am an experienced dog walker and pet sitter and have cared for many animals over the year. I am friendly and reliable and I will care for your pets as if they were my own. I'm DBS checked and a car owner. I have a level 4 diploma in canine welfare, training and behaviour. I can visit your home if you need help with general care such as the feeding of pets and cleaning of litter trays/hutches as well as cuddles and lots of attention. I can also help with any grooming requirements. I will also send you as many updates as you need and plenty of pics of what your animals are up to! I'm based in Bromley very close to numerous parks where your dog/s can have a great walk and run around for up to an hour or I will take them to their favourite places. There are 8,064 sitters on Rover for Cat Sitting in Bromley. About 90% of Bromley sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
