“Normally my Daughter looks after Albie, but my Granddaughter has become allergic and was recently hospitalised. At such short notice I was struggling to find anyone suitable and really thought I would have to cancel my trip. I came across Rover online and messaged Jingjing. She was professional, friendly and even though I put in the wrong dates, still managed to accommodate my very last minute request. We arranged a meet and greet - Albie immediately went to Jing and really liked her. I left instructions and Jing followed them perfectly. I received pictures, videos and feedback and will happily call on Jing for the future. I highly recommend this lovely young lady 🥰”

About: I’ve been caring for cats and dogs since I was 13, and my love for animals started even earlier. I grew up around them on my grandparents’ farm. I’m now a proud owner of two cats and a dog, so I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and caring to look after your pets. With years of hands-on experience, I’m confident providing attentive, reliable care tailored to each pet’s needs. As a student, I’ve built a routine that allows me to balance my studies with doing what I love, caring for animals. I have free time during the day and on weekends, which means I can give your pets plenty of attention, play, and cuddles. Whether it’s drop-in visits, walks, or overnight stays. I always follow the owner’s routine to keep pets happy and comfortable. I’ll make sure they’re fed on time, get plenty of play and exercise, and have company if they like cuddles or just someone nearby. I’ll also keep the space tidy, send regular updates, and make sure your pets feel safe and loved while you’re away.

“Kaitlyn looked after our cat a short notice, everything was great. Cat was happy when we got back, so we were happy! Kaitlyn kept the kitchen clean and tidy and even took the bins out for us. We will definitely book her again!”

“Shania has been incredible. Our boy Ninja is usually very shy and hides from strangers so was expecting not much interaction. We were surprised to see him interacting with Shania and greeting her. She has a way with him and made us feel so happy knowing he was getting social time and not just food etc. Shes a kind caring sitter, sent photos and videos daily, keeping us updated thoroughly. Would highly recommend her services and will be using her again as and when needed. Thanks Shani, Ninja will miss you and glad you got the best out him.”

“I couldn’t be happier with the care my cats received. It was their first time with this sitter, and they absolutely loved her — and so did I. She was gentle, patient, and instantly made them feel safe and relaxed. I came home to calm, happy cats, and that tells me everything. I highly recommend Samantha and will definitely book again.”

She also took initiative to learn his routines to help him with his seperation anxiety while we left him alone for thre first time at length. Would highly recommend and use again!”

Jade was amazing. Went above and beyond. She even changed the time when asked to could accommodate me with no hesitation. She took her time was not rushed. I can’t rate her highly enough 10 stars if I could. Will be booking again with her in the future. Highly recommended.

The best cat sitter either Dolly or I have ever had. Where as some seem to be in and out. Sonia takes, loads of daily pictures, run's your cat through a range of playful activities and even watered our plants. She even left us a very cute gift ready for our return. Above and beyond indeed. Gold Standard in cat sitters

Shania has been incredible. Xiyuan visited my 2 cats (13 years old) once a day during 1 week. She was very kind, reliable, conscientious and used to cats (also old cats as mines). One of my cats was a bit ill, Xiyuan communicated with me, sent me feedback and gave me informations precisely. She sent me pictures and videos everyday day. I felt very comfortable with her and strongly recommend her. She is also a very nice person.

Zoya was absolutely wonderful and took such good care of our kitten whilst we were away. She provided constant updates and photos/ videos so we had total peace of mind that Layla was receiving the best care possible. Layla loved Zoya too and had lots of attention from her. We will definitely use Zoya again in the future. Thank you!!

David was so accommodating with my last minute booking. He made daily visits to our two young cats and nothing was a problem even when our water had to get turned off for 5 days due to an issue with boiler in our absence. My female cats took to him instantly. David’s daily summaries and pictures were much appreciated as it felt like I was separated from my babies for so long. Would definitely recommend and use services again

Kasia was absolutely brilliant, and really went the extra mile for us! I swear, the cats were probably upset when we returned from holiday... She sent great content, took lovely care of them, and was truly brilliant. Highly recommend, and our cats insist that she comes back again.
Yvonne cared for my cat Mumma when my husband and I were away for a whole week. Yvonne is very friendly and caring. We had a meet and greet beforehand and went through all the details. I could already tell that Mumma is absolutely comfortable with Yvonne. Her energy matches our cat perfectly. Yvonne was always on time and she did a great job with Mumma. She provided lots of photos and videos of each visits and was very responsive so communication was never an issue. I’m very happy with Yvonne’s service and will definitely book her again in the future. Highly recommend!

Did a great job looking after our moggie whilst also dealing with foxes getting into the house at the same time as we left a window open! Xin was amazing - super helpful and very understanding whilst also doing the job we originally asked of her e.g. looking after our cat, thanks Xin!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
