“Kaitlyn looked after our two cats while we were on holiday for a week. We found her to be conscientious and reliable. She followed our instructions on how to care for our two fussy cats to the letter and also assisted with taking out the bins. We appreciated the regular updates she sent to let know how our cats were doing. We would book her again. ”

“Mehdi took care of our cat as if it were his own. Not only did he spend quality time with our cat, but he also tidied up any mess it made around the house, treating our home with the same care and attention as his own. We truly appreciate his dedication and kindness. We would highly recommend him to anyone without hesitation.”

“We have been using Sharmila and Marina’s service for almost a year now and we could not be happier! Sharmila helped us keeping our cats safe during the heatweave. She’s been so nice and went even beyond her planned 30 mins visits. Would recommend to anyone! Thank you again 🥹”

“Teodora was fantastic and I fully recommend her. She was professional at all times. She is a proper animal person and my cat took to her immediately. Teodora is dependable and I really appreciated her detailed updates and photos upon every visit and her communications and quick responses meant I was completely comfortable and assured with her looking after my cat and I will definitely use Teodora again in the future. Top rated and highly recommend.”

“Xin Yi is amazing! She looked after Lucifer so well, not just fed and cleaned but really spent time with him. I loved regular photo updates, some of the shots are priceless ;) i could really see my cat feeling comfortable and entertained. I felt like I can really relax on my holiday, thank you <3 I have already re-booked.”

“Iliana was an absolute gem looking after Freddie and Mollie. She was perfectly punctual with feeding times, gave them lots of attention and playtime, and kept me updated regularly via WhatsApp—which was such a comfort while I was away. I could tell from her messages and photos that the cats were relaxed, happy, and in safe hands.”

“The most important thing is that my cat liked Beatrice, which meant she responded well to Beatrice, ate her food and took her meds. Beatrice took my parcels in, put the bins out and gave her cuddles. Thank you Beatrice, it’s a weight off my mind to have someone I can rely on.”
“Normally my Daughter looks after Albie, but my Granddaughter has become allergic and was recently hospitalised. At such short notice I was struggling to find anyone suitable and really thought I would have to cancel my trip. I came across Rover online and messaged Jingjing. She was professional, friendly and even though I put in the wrong dates, still managed to accommodate my very last minute request. We arranged a meet and greet - Albie immediately went to Jing and really liked her. I left instructions and Jing followed them perfectly. I received pictures, videos and feedback and will happily call on Jing for the future. I highly recommend this lovely young lady 🥰”

“Elena was great at looking after my beloved cat. She came beforehand to meet the cat and learn about her habits. Then she would come every day at the time agreed and send me pictures with updates. I would recommend her and book again!”
“Ainhoa was absolutely amazing! She spent plenty of quality time playing with my kittens and made sure they were happy and comfortable while I was away. She sent daily updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. When I returned, my pets seemed extremely happy... which is every pet owner’s wish. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone caring and reliable.”

“Harriet is such a star! My dog is very sentimental, she doesn’t like everyone to take her for walks especially particularly about letting the harness on her. I had to emergency travel so I had no choice but ask for help and pray that the person would be able to help and make a bond with Lady in such a short amount of time. I was super lucky I found Harriet, Lady loved her from the first second and seeing that I was able to focus on my family and I was able to focus on my family when they needed me. Forever grateful for her”

“We had a fantastic experience with Aliyah who looked after our cats over the Christmas period. I felt completely at ease the moment we met as it was clear she had experience with cats. Our two kitties we're very well looked after and loved her company. Will definitely be booking her for our future trips 💖”

About: I’ve been caring for cats and dogs since I was 13, and my love for animals started even earlier. I grew up around them on my grandparents’ farm. I’m now a proud owner of two cats and a dog, so I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and caring to look after your pets. With years of hands-on experience, I’m confident providing attentive, reliable care tailored to each pet’s needs. As a student, I’ve built a routine that allows me to balance my studies with doing what I love, caring for animals. I have free time during the day and on weekends, which means I can give your pets plenty of attention, play, and cuddles. Whether it’s drop-in visits, walks, or overnight stays. I always follow the owner’s routine to keep pets happy and comfortable. I’ll make sure they’re fed on time, get plenty of play and exercise, and have company if they like cuddles or just someone nearby. I’ll also keep the space tidy, send regular updates, and make sure your pets feel safe and loved while you’re away.
“Thanks very much Annabelle! Annabelle was great with our cats, and played with them for 20 minutes on each visit - which they loved! She sent us lots of pictures and videos which was amazing - they were in great hands. We would definitely book her again!”

“We couldn't have been happier with Shivy! Our Lordship, Mr Kittenson, gave her a wonderfully warm welcome on the first day, which tells us everything we need to know. She's clearly a magician with cats. I'm sure he thought he'd successfully manipulated her (as cats so often believe they do!), but in reality it was the other way around. Shivy obviously genuinely loves cats, and it really shows. Even though our Lordship decided to keep to his very busy summer schedule and managed to miss most of her visits, she patiently looked for him every day, never stopped checking his favourite hiding spots, and always made sure he had everything he needed. She took fantastic care of him, left everything in perfect order, and her daily report cards were thoughtful, detailed and incredibly reassuring. They gave us complete confidence that he was in excellent hands while we were away. We would happily recommend Shivy to anyone looking for a caring, professional and reliable cat sitter, and we hope Mr Kittenson gets to see her again in the future!”

Jane was brilliant with my cats. She looked after them really well and kept me updated with messages and photos while I was away, which was so reassuring. When I got home, my cats were happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I'd happily book Jane again and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable cat sitter.
Carmel was absolutely great at looking after our two cats for 10 days. She was reliable and sent daily updates which wasn’t requested but appreciated. She even had a loaf of bread in our bread bin on arrival home which was so so sweet. She took in a parcel for me too. Thanks Carmel. We will definitely be using you again on our next trip away.
Yvonne cared for my cat Mumma when my husband and I were away for a whole week. Yvonne is very friendly and caring. We had a meet and greet beforehand and went through all the details. I could already tell that Mumma is absolutely comfortable with Yvonne. Her energy matches our cat perfectly. Yvonne was always on time and she did a great job with Mumma. She provided lots of photos and videos of each visits and was very responsive so communication was never an issue. I’m very happy with Yvonne’s service and will definitely book her again in the future. Highly recommend!

Did a great job looking after our moggie whilst also dealing with foxes getting into the house at the same time as we left a window open! Xin was amazing - super helpful and very understanding whilst also doing the job we originally asked of her e.g. looking after our cat, thanks Xin!

Karlee was the best choice for our two male cats, Kimbo and Meeps. It was delightful to return home to very happy and looked after cats. I received regular notes and pictures from Karlee after every visit, which was very helpful and reassuring. Even Kimbo the Maine Coon was won over by her. I recommend Karlee, and would like to rebook her in the future.

Shuk Han, was brilliant at looking after my cat Zac, he was a bit stand offish when she 1st came round, but by the end of the week, he was greeting her as soon as she visited. This was the 1st time using a cat sitter, so was a little worried having a stranger into my home, but she was great and reassuring, she gave me plenty of updates and photos, every visit, if your looking for a reliable, friendly cat sitter, please give Shuk Han a chance, she was brilliant. 😊

Thank you Lauren for taking care of Noodles! She communicated with us well and made sure to follow our notes. I really appreciate her updates during the visits. its our first time leaving Noodles and Lauren has been really responsive and assured us he’s doing well. Would recommend and certainly book again!

Ana is an absolutely fantastic cat sitter. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants true peace of mind while they’re away. Her communication was brilliant from start to finish, and I loved receiving her daily updates and photos — they were thoughtful, detailed, and showed just how well she cared for my cat Winston. It’s clear she genuinely loves animals, and my cat was relaxed, happy, and so well looked after. I’ll definitely be booking her again. Thank you!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
