Hello! My name is David and I work for the NHS. I’m lucky to have a flexible work from home role which means I can offer visits at almost any time of the day or night to suit your cat’s routine. I’ve been a cat lover all my life and have shared my home with cats for over 25 years. Some were rescues who needed extra patience and care and others grew with me from playful kittens into wise old companions. Each one has taught me how unique every cat’s personality is from the shy and gentle to the bold and mischievous and I truly enjoy earning their trust. When I look after your cat I’ll treat them as if they were my own: feeding, cleaning litter trays, playing, cuddling or simply keeping them company if they prefer quiet companionship. I’m also happy to send you regular updates and photos so you know your furry friend is happy and well cared for while you’re away. I love all animals but cats hold a very special place in my heart. With me your cat will be safe, loved and well looked after.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We booked David through Cat in a Flat for the first time while we were away on holiday, to look after our two cats, and we honestly couldn’t have been happier with the service. From the very beginning, David was so reliable, friendly and professional. He came to meet us beforehand to collect the key, which really put our minds at ease before we went away. While we were on holiday, he took such great care of our cats and kept our home absolutely spotless. David really went above and beyond what we expected. He kept us updated, sent us photos of the cats while we were away, and it was lovely being able to see that they were happy and being well looked after. It gave us such peace of mind knowing they were in safe hands. This was our first time using a cat-sitting service, and David made the whole experience completely stress-free. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring and reliable to look after their pets. Thank you so much, David! David was so accommodating with my last minute booking. He made daily visits to our two young cats and nothing was a problem even when our water had to get turned off for 5 days due to an issue with boiler in our absence. My female cats took to him instantly. David’s daily summaries and pictures were much appreciated as it felt like I was separated from my babies for so long. Would definitely recommend and use services again
I'm 100% sure I left a review for this already but it seems to have not saved! David is excellent, responsible, lovely with my Leo and very trustworthy. We had a few issues but everything was dealt with appropriately considering the circumstances. Would book again and probably will book again as everybody needs a holiday sometime :)
Great with Leo as always and took good care of the house, there were a couple of issues but they were dealt with well. Would recommend.
David was fantastic, he was extremely helpful and attentive to all 4 cats. David went above and beyond and nothing was too much. I came home too 4 happy cats. 😀
David was great! He kept me up to date on my catas whereabouts while I was on my trips and sent pictures of them. Highly recommend him as your cat sitter :)
