About: I have hands-on experience caring for my own Golden Retriever and cat, so I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities. I enjoy spending time with animals, whether it’s walking, playing, feeding, or simply keeping them company. I always aim to provide a safe, calm, and caring environment, treating every pet as if they were my own. I currently have a flexible schedule and can provide reliable pet care during most weekdays and weekends. I will make sure every pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and care while they are with me. I always put a pet’s safety and comfort first. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions, including feeding, walking, medication if needed, and daily routines. I treat every pet with patience, kindness, and respect, just like my own pets.

About: , I’m Milena and I just moved to London! I’m an enthusiastic, curious and outgoing person who loves dogs :). I’ve grown up with dogs since my mom’s in the industry, she takes cares of anything from training (basic education, rescue, guarding…), day care, pet sitting, dog shows, and even has her own litters up to twice a year. I currently own a Doberman, Weimaraners and a Jack Russel (+ a cat) at my parents’ home! I’ve always been surrounded by dogs (small and big) and have tagged along to learn the basics of dog training for both puppies and adult dogs. Since moving out for uni, I have been focusing on dog sitting and walking since I can’t see myself spending a week without at least one furry friend! I enjoy taking them on walks (that I call “little adventures”), playing with them, cuddling, you name it. I will be starting a full time internship in Knightsbridge on July 1st. But my early mornings and evenings are free during the week, and I have my weekends free! I am very a adaptable person, so I know I can manage balancing out social life, sports (I do athletics) and taking care of your best friend :) I am renting out a room for my time in London, and would thus prefer if I could take care of your pet at your home. I can easily move and come around if needed, whether it is pet sitting or taking them outside :)
“Annie provided a drop in visit for our dog during the hot weather and was great! Our boy took to her immediately and she provided us with updates and photos to keep our minds at ease. Thank you, Annie!”

“Pablo was so sweet with our bunnies and made us feel secure while we were on vacation, always letting us know he arrived and communicated every step of the way! We are so grateful! ☺️🙏🏻”

“Matilde did a fantastic job with Zelda during her hour drop-in. She was punctual, reliable, and clearly very confident with dogs. Zelda was relaxed and content in her care, which was lovely to see. She followed all instructions carefully and kept us updated, which gave us real peace of mind while we were out. We’d happily recommend Matilde and would absolutely book her again.”

“Douglas was BRILLIANT! Our cat absolutely loves him and he sends us lovely pictures and updates over the duration that we are away. Douglas makes travelling so much easier- we are always happy leaving our most precious in his care.”

“Gennaro fed my cat while I was away for three weeks. He did a fantastic job and communication was excellent. He was very proactive and even changed the batteries on my cat door when lights started flashing. Would highly recommend and will definitely use him again.”

“Helped me out of a really tough situation- Yan is really friendly and was up for collecting my keys from hospital, going to my home and feeding my cat, and then dropping the keys back off to me in hospital. I had no idea how I was going to get my cat fed and Yan came through! Would def recommend”

“Enrica was amazing! Our dog can be shy, but he got along with Enrica right away! She definitely has a way with dogs : ). We look forward to booking with her again soon!”

“Vitoria was great. Minnie can be quite shy with people she doesn’t know but she took a very quick liking to Vitoria, immediately demanding cuddles! Vitoria was very punctual every day, provided us with timely updates, pictures and videos, and was very kind throughout the process. We will definitely book her again.”

About: My passion - and respect - for pets, especially dogs and cats, started very early...actually since i was born i have shared my life with these amazing creatures. This has allowed me to learn more about our friends. I've always considered them as relevant part of my existence and have always been rewarded with the same love. Looking after a pet, going together for long walks, playing games in open doors is one of the most satisfying things in life. Vegetarian, animals lover. I’m currently not working and have plenty of time I can spend looking after pets. So I’m available to cover different owners needs and hours At mine there are several spots that can be dedicated to different pets, depending on the person needs. Water, some treats and walks. When sitting at a pet’s owner I would follow the instructions provided by the owner case by case.
“Belle had the bestest time with Camila! Thank you so much for being available with short notice and for taking care of Belle! Camila was nothing other than professional and friendly! Would absolutely recommend”
“Sevinj was an absolute star with our sweet Poppy! She took really good care of her while we were away. We contacted her with very short notice, she was super flexible and helpfu. She sent us lots of videos and photos and she’s was super sweet. We definitely recommend her and we will be booking her again in future for sure! Thank you Sevinj, absolute star 💖”

“Mariana is so lovely and has been such a wonderful sitter for my dog Pippin, who is a rescue and has some unique socialising needs. She is very quick to respond, respectful of our space, and caring for our sweet pup. Will keep hiring her for visits and walks!”

About: I had a dog when I was a teenager and I used to live in Spain before coming here. Here in London I have taken care of two of my friends' cats and the dog of a third friend when they have gone on holidays. I have stayed at their houses as is easier for the pet to feel safe and at ease, I have made sure that they are feed, change the cats sand and taken the dog on walks and to the park to play. I am currently working 2–3 days a week in the mornings, up to 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, or 2:30 PM per day in retail, and three evenings a week as a childminder from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM (sometimes 5:30 PM). I am always free one whole day per week (mostly Tuesdays), most evenings, and Saturday afternoon. First of all, I make sure to follow all the instructions that the owner gives me. I keep an eye on anything they can eat and I play with them.
About: Hi! My name is Bridget, and I’m a kind, caring, and responsible animal lover offering dog walking and pet sitting services. I’m very flexible with my schedule and happy to stay in your home to ensure your pets are safe, happy, and comfortable while you're away. I’ve grown up in central London so I know all the best parks for engaging and enriching walks. I also have a car and am more than happy to take your dog out of the city for a big countryside walk and a proper adventure. Sadly I can't have a dog where I live, but I’ve had my own cat for over 10 years and have regularly looked after friends' and family’s dogs. I truly love animals and treat every pet like they’re my own. If you’re looking for someone reliable, warm-hearted, and experienced, I’d love to meet you and your pets! I work from home on my own schedule. I occasionally work in a shop where I would be able to bring a dog in and look after throughout the day. I am available every evening and almost every week day in the day time. I have a relaxed cat who keeps to himself and am walking distance from many central london parks. I provide lots of attention and cuddles but allow pets to come to me in their own time.

About: Not only do I have a 6 year old labradoodle back home in California but I also love walking, playing, and running with all pets. I'm a responsible solicitor who effectively manages my time and I have the experience in multiple corporate and customer service industries to manage a variety of tasks including the management of a children's summer camp. I can provide references if necessary and have experience both house sitting pets and taking care of multiple animals for extended periods of time. I know a lot about dogs and animals in general. I'm very attentive and will be accommodating to whatever your needs are for your individual pet. Salary for each task is also negotiable. Thank you.
About: Hi! I’m a soon to be graduate from vet school and in the meantime am looking to help my community before I start working! I helped raise my family dog from the age of 8 and as I have grown older have helped care for dogs and cats of all ages! Since I have experience working in a veterinary hospital setting I am capable of handling and caring for kittens, puppies, senior pets and any age in between. I also have 10 years experience volunteering at animal shelters and fostering. No dog or cat is too big or too small for my heart ! Please note the summer can be quite hectic for me at the moment so I do my best to update my availability calendar ! I have recently finished my degree as a vet student and am waiting to graduate. I am currently available to help outside of weekends mainly before I start working as a vet. I try to update my calendar availability as soon as I can. I apologize if you reach out and I can’t be of assistance in advance ! The only service I do not offer is bringing the pet to my home. All other ROVER services are on the table and I try to care for your pet just as you would! I have no problem with walks, potty breaks, feeding schedules, or any other needs your pet may have. Let me make you feel comfortable with leaving your furry family member with me for a while! I also am okay with meet and greets beforehand if necessary.
About: I look after your dog with love. I work from home during the week meaning i can give your dog my full attention, i allow them to sleep in my bed and make them feel at home. I live right next to Southwark Park so i can give your dog hours of outside time in the morning & evening. I work from home full time with few meetings meaning i can be very flexible with my working hours, your pet will get as much time outside as they need, lots of play time too. We have a balcony but i like to take dogs into southwark park where they can socialise, run around and get tired out before i return them to you.

Cat owners share their Rover experiences - London
This was my first time using this service and I was so impressed with Lisa! From meeting me at my home to meet my cats and hear out my initial thoughts and concerns, to her thorough daily report cards! I am definitely going to be booking with her again! Thanks Lisa! Xx

We enjoyed meeting Sophie and felt very confident that she'd look after our cat really well. She went above and beyond in terms of her care for Nelly whilst we were away and she sent us messages and videos after each visit. The whole experience left us feeling extremely reassured that our cat was in really good hands and that Sophie is particularly dedicated and committed to looking after animals really well and keeping their owners updated on any issue that might arise.

Thank you so much Kristie for taking care of my boys so well! My boys loved her and we are grateful Kristie was able to come daily and spend time with them! Bruce ( my super anxious baby) usually hides with strangers but warmed up to her super quick ! She even helped us check on our fishes 🥺 we can’t thank her enough and we would love to have her back!!!

We had a wonderful experience with our cat sitter Yue! She kept us updated every day with messages and photos of Challa, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that Challa was well cared for and comfortable. We really appreciated the consistent communication and the extra effort she put into sharing updates. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring catsitter.

Celina took wonderful care of our cats, Misha and Feya, for 10 days. She was great to communicate with, kept us updated every day with photos and gave us real peace of mind while we were away. We came home to two happy, well-cared-for cats. We'd happily recommend Celina to anyone looking for a reliable and caring cat sitter!

Erin was absolutely fantastic and everything you want in a cat sitter - kind, caring, considerate and communicative, she gave detailed updates with great pictures. My cat loved her, despite Erin having to administer eye drops (my cat’s least favourite activity). Despite a long travel day, she came for a meet and great and I instantly knew she was a great choice and the perfect person for the job. She has a lovely energy and you immediately felt like you could trust her. Highly recommend Erin and will absolutely be booking her again for future visits. Top tier human and a fab cat sitter.
Sarah looked after our two cats while we were away, and her regular updates and excellent care put us completely at ease. She was always punctual and spent time with them after feeding, which we really appreciated. She also kept us informed whenever there were any issues with the automatic feeders, which can be a bit finicky. We'd be very happy to ask Sarah to look after our cats again and would happily recommend her to others.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 92% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
