About: I grew up with rescue cats, and in the past, I've kept my own guinea piggies and leopard geckos. I have used various other platforms over the years for petsitting, to take dogs for walks and into work on a regular basis, as well as popping in to feed cats. I genuinely care for animals and I always strive to do my best by them with the utmost affection. I have a flexible schedule and I regularly care for pets in owners' homes across the UK, so I'm experienced at quickly building trust with animals and maintaining their usual routines. I have been petsitting for many years now and I am quite comfortable providing the exact care as described by the homeowners. I have proven myself to be trustworthy and reliable. I am happy when the animals in my care are happy!

About: I’m Milena and I just moved to London! I’m an enthusiastic, curious and outgoing person who loves cats and dogs :). I’ve grown up with dogs since my mom’s in the industry, she takes cares of anything from training (basic education, rescue, guarding…), day care, pet sitting, dog shows, and even has her own litters up to twice a year. I currently own a Doberman, Weimaraners and a Jack Russel (+ a cat) at my parents’ home! I’ve always been surrounded by dogs (small and big) and have tagged along to learn the basics of dog training for both puppies and adult dogs. Since moving out for uni, I have been focusing on dog and cat sitting as well as walking since I can’t see myself spending a week without at least one furry friend! I enjoy taking them on walks, playing with them, cuddling, you name it. I will be starting a full time internship in Knightsbridge on July 1st. But my early mornings and evenings are free during the week, and I have my weekends free! I am very a adaptable person, so I know I can manage balancing out social life, sports (I do athletics) and taking care of your best friend :) I am renting out a room for my time in London, and would thus prefer if I could take care of your pet at your home. I can easily move and come around if needed, whether it is pet sitting or taking them outside :)
“Helped me out of a really tough situation- Yan is really friendly and was up for collecting my keys from hospital, going to my home and feeding my cat, and then dropping the keys back off to me in hospital. I had no idea how I was going to get my cat fed and Yan came through! Would def recommend”

About: Hello! We are Giuliana and Lucas, a dedicated couple currently traveling around the UK. For the past 4 months, we’ve been housesitting and pet-sitting full-time across England and Scotland. We are thrilled to now bring our passion and experience to the Rover community! What sets us apart is our extensive, hands-on experience with a wide variety of pets and needs. We don’t just watch over pets; we treat them like family. Our background includes: Puppy Care: We know the patience, energy, and consistency required to look after high-energy young pups and maintain their routines. Senior & Medical Care: We are fully experienced in administering medications and providing the gentle, attentive care that senior or special-needs dogs require. All Shapes & Sizes: From large, energetic dogs that need strong handlers to independent cats who just want a cozy lap, we adapt perfectly to every personality. Since we travel and work as a team, your pet will get double the love, attention, and supervision. We are organized, extremely clean, and committed to giving you peace of mind with regular updates and photos! As full-time house and pet sitters, looking after animals is not just a side job, it is our primary focus and daily lifestyle. Because we travel and work remotely as a team, our schedule is incredibly flexible. Your pets will rarely be left alone, as at least one of us is almost always at home to keep them company, stick to their exact feeding schedules, and give them the attention they deserve. Our daily routine completely adapts to your pet's needs: from morning walks and playful afternoons to administering medications on a strict timeline or simply sharing quiet cuddles on the sofa. Your pet’s comfort and routine dictate our day. We care for pets exclusively in the owner's home, ensuring they stay in their safest, most comfortable, and familiar environment. We treat every home we step into with the utmost respect, cleanliness, and responsibility. Safety and Trust are our top priorities: Home Security: We strictly follow all security guidelines, ensuring doors and gates are locked, alarms are set, and keys are safely managed. Pet Safety: We maintain a sharp eye on their environment, making sure harmful food or hazards are out of reach. On walks, dogs are always kept securely on their leashes unless specified otherwise by you in safe, designated areas. Medical Peace of Mind: We are highly responsible with medication schedules and always have the details of your preferred local vet on hand in case of any emergency. Communication: We believe communication is key to your peace of mind. You will receive daily updates, photos, and videos so you can see exactly how happy and relaxed your pet is while you are away.
“Matilde was wonderful taking care of our two cats. Her communication was perfect, she was very responsive and on top of their care. We really felt like we could relax and the photos were very cute too, as an added bonus! Our cats definitely liked Matilde a lot, and they were happy and relaxed when we returned which was lovely to come back to.”

“Pablo was so sweet with our bunnies and made us feel secure while we were on vacation, always letting us know he arrived and communicated every step of the way! We are so grateful! ☺️🙏🏻”

“Annie was great! My 2 cats are quite shy (one didn’t come out to visit but he’s quite sensitive lol) but Luna loved her! Everything done exactly as we asked and cute picture updates throughout! Visited for longer amounts of time than said which was perfect so the kitties didn’t get too lonely whilst we were away! Would 100% book again!”

“Enrica was amazing! Our dog can be shy, but he got along with Enrica right away! She definitely has a way with dogs : ). We look forward to booking with her again soon!”

About: My passion - and respect - for pets, especially dogs and cats, started very early...actually since i was born i have shared my life with these amazing creatures. This has allowed me to learn more about our friends. I've always considered them as relevant part of my existence and have always been rewarded with the same love. Looking after a pet, going together for long walks, playing games in open doors is one of the most satisfying things in life. Vegetarian, animals lover. I’m currently not working and have plenty of time I can spend looking after pets. So I’m available to cover different owners needs and hours At mine there are several spots that can be dedicated to different pets, depending on the person needs. Water, some treats and walks. When sitting at a pet’s owner I would follow the instructions provided by the owner case by case.
“I’ve never used a dog sitter before but I’m so glad I did. Douglas made the entire process so easy, met me in person first and also put my mind at ease with his kind and professional approach. While I was away, I got notifications everyday with photos of my pets. And when I got home today and opened the door I found two very happy animals. Douglas took care of them all so well and his love shows in their cheerful demeanour. Thank you Douglas, I am honestly so grateful to you ❤️”

“Vitoria was great. Minnie can be quite shy with people she doesn’t know but she took a very quick liking to Vitoria, immediately demanding cuddles! Vitoria was very punctual every day, provided us with timely updates, pictures and videos, and was very kind throughout the process. We will definitely book her again.”

“Antoinette is a kind, friendly and responsible dog walker/sitter who showed great care and affection for Ludo. She is punctual and clear in communication, and I will definitely ask for her again!”

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life, with my family growing up with dogs of various breeds and taking care of neighbours and friends pets as well. Have experience training puppies and in senior animal care, and would be excited to meet your furry friend and provide them with the care they need whilst you are away. Although working full-time, I am able to work from home most Fridays and would be able to take your dog to a local park to relieve themselves and get rid of some energy, before a longer walk (suited to your pets needs) during lunch time. The rest of the day would consist of relaxing, playing and puzzle games for your pet, before another evening walk to make sure they are tired out by the end of the day. Naturally since not all pets are able/want to go outside, this will depend on your dogs needs and wishes, with a relaxing and quite environment suitable for every pet, and loads of activities for those who want it. I have lots of experience with pets of all ages, and am happy to adjust to your training methods and your pets needs. I have personally crate trained puppies until they are old enough to not cause mischief but am happy to continue with this method, or not, depending on your preference. Pets would be allowed in every room of the house, with windows and doors being secured well during their stay. I would not have any guests over during your pets stay, unless advised that they would not mind this, as your pets comfort is of top priority. For house visits, I would make sure your pet is well fed and watered, has been eating and has not made a mess anywhere, as well as check up on their condition visually and physically as much as is possible. I will also send up frequent and detailed updates on what your pet has gotten up to, with loads of cute pictures!
About: I had a dog when I was a teenager and I used to live in Spain before coming here. Here in London I have taken care of two of my friends' cats and the dog of a third friend when they have gone on holidays. I have stayed at their houses as is easier for the pet to feel safe and at ease, I have made sure that they are feed, change the cats sand and taken the dog on walks and to the park to play. I am currently working 2–3 days a week in the mornings, up to 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, or 2:30 PM per day in retail, and three evenings a week as a childminder from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM (sometimes 5:30 PM). I am always free one whole day per week (mostly Tuesdays), most evenings, and Saturday afternoon. First of all, I make sure to follow all the instructions that the owner gives me. I keep an eye on anything they can eat and I play with them.
“Sevinj was an absolute star with our sweet Poppy! She took really good care of her while we were away. We contacted her with very short notice, she was super flexible and helpfu. We’re so happy that Ruo Xuan was the one looking after our cat Frodo for the whole week. She visited him twice a day, and our little boy was well fed, looked after, entertained, and given plenty of attention, care and affection. After every visit, Ruo Xuan sent us photos and videos with updates on how Frodo was doing, so we always felt reassured that he was happy and everything was okay. Ruo Xuan is such a lovely person and very easy to communicate with. We’re incredibly grateful for the wonderful care she gave our little Frodo. Thank you so much! ❤️

Ray is a fantastic cat sitter! She looked after our cat for 2 weeks while we were on holiday and she sent loads of photos and updates all throughout, which really helped our peace of mind. She was super reliable in terms of visiting times, food and playtime etc and even took him into our garden with his harness a few times which we really appreciated. We came back home to a happy and relaxed cat. Would definitely book her again!

Renata looked after our kitten Plum beautifully: she gave her a lot of care and attention. She is clearly a genuine and sensitive cat lover! Her communication with us was excellent. We felt entirely reassured to know that Plum was in her care in our absence. I would recommender Renata very highly.

Sarah is a lovely and incredibly caring person who provided me with daily updates and photos of my cat, which gave me such peace of mind while I was away. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to look after her! I would 100% recommend Sarah and will definitely be booking with her again in the future. 😊
Joanna took perfect care of my two cats while we were away for a week. She sent great updates and pictures on how the cats were doing and spent time with them making sure they are not lonely. Joanna also took care of my garden and house plants while we were away. We came back to very happy and well looked after cats and healthy plants despite the summer heat. We really appreciate Joanna taking such good care of our cats and plants too and for sending all the pictures and updates. I can wholeheartedly recommend Joanna if you want to go on holiday knowing that your cats are in good caring hands.

Kristie is a pet owner’s dream. She is very communicative throughout the visits and caring to the animal. Our cat has never enjoyed a visitor the way he did Kristie. You could tell in the photos that he was having a nice time, and was well cared for. We will hire Kristie for every trip now! She is the best.

We had a great experience with Chiehlin as Sparkles’ cat sitter. She was reliable and genuinely seemed to care for and enjoy spending time with Sparkles. We felt very reassured and would highly recommend her to other cat owners. Thanks for taking care of Sparkles!

Ellie was very reliable and handled all of my cats' specific care requests flawlessly. My cats loved her. Even my shyest cat, who I fully expected to hide under the bed the whole time, warmed up to her after a couple of days and let her stroke him. She definitely has a gentle, soothing vibe around my cats that won them over completely while I was away! I can't recommend her enough and will definitely be booking her again

Annie was great! Would 100% book again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
