“Alexandra was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. She took excellent care of our cat and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We received regular updates with photos and videos throughout the stay, which was incredibly reassuring and showed just how well our cat was being looked after. It was obvious that she genuinely cared and made sure our cat was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. We came home to a relaxed and content cat, which says everything. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional cat sitter.”

About: I have lifelong experience caring for cats and dogs through my own home and the pets of friends and family. I provide reliable pet sitting, dog walking, and daily pet care, always adapting to each pet’s personality and needs. I am comfortable with small to medium dog breeds and focus on calm, attentive care in a safe and positive environment. I am available for walks, playtime, feeding, and general pet care to ensure pets feel happy, secure, and well looked after. I run a home-based tapestry studio, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care, one of my main passions. Aside from a few planned trips each year, I have excellent availability, especially with advance bookings. I live in a pet-friendly apartment with two spacious balconies and access to a designated outdoor area for walks within the building. The home is bright, comfortable, and enriched with toys and stimulation. Cats are not allowed on the balconies, but they enjoy a safe, cozy indoor environment with full access to furniture, including beds and sofas. I also have a very friendly cat who provides calm and social company to visiting pets. When caring for pets in the owner’s home, I strictly follow all provided instructions regarding feeding, treats, and medication. I always ensure that toys are put away, litter boxes are clean, water is fresh, and the home is left tidy and secure before leaving.
“Highly recommend Ingryd. She came once to look after our two cats, followed all instructions properly, and made sure everything was taken care of. She also sent us photos, which was really nice. Would definitely book her again.”

About: I’ve grown up around cats and have over 15 years of hands-on experience, including caring for my own cat for 15 years. I’m comfortable with cats of all ages — from playful kittens to seniors — and have experience giving medication (pills). I’m calm, patient, and attentive, taking time to read each cat’s personality. Whether they want play, quiet company, or space, I adjust my approach to make them feel safe and comfortable. I treat your home and your cat with the same care I’d give my own. Cats often take a little time to warm up — I’m happy to let them set the pace.
“Lah was great. This was my first time having a dogsitter and she was extremely fast at coming back to my initial inquiry and messages. On the day she provided me with lovely pictures - will definitely book again. Thanks again x”

About: Hey! I'm Katie, 28 years old and have had experience with animals since I can remember, although have taken a very responsible role in looking after them for over 5 years. I am extremely passionate about animals and spent my time looking after my parents 4 dogs and cats. However, I've moved out since then and miss the company of an adorable pal. I have had experience looking after others dogs. I enjoy long walks, grooming, playing games as I can have a childish side. I can bathe dogs, give oral medicines and provide a warm and loving care for your pet. In sitting, making sure you know your pet is safe is the most important thing and I can assure you I'm well aware of my responsibilites. Your animal will have tons of fun, mountains of love. I can provide regular toilet breaks and with walking there is plenty of greenery by where I live which will ensure your pet gets all exercise needed. I work part time so Thursdays and Fridays and other days I'm at home with my daughter and exploring the outdoors. When I have the responsibilities of house sitting I will always ensure that your pet has my attention and will be there to keep them happy. In regards to walks me and my daughter enjoy going out and getting the exercise which will be easy throughout my day. There are no dangers to be made aware of, I am a very attentive person and will provide your dog with the best care and love.
“Victoria is an amazing cat sitter who created a special bond with my cat Sushi whilst I was on holiday. Having Victoria come in and send regular updates gave me piece of mind that Sushi was in safe hands. It looked like Sushi had a lot of fun and at times wanted Victoria to stay longer and play with her. Would highly recommend Victoria”

“Pei has been wonderful with our mini Labradoodle, Cali. She’s reliable, caring, and incredibly sweet with Cali. We really appreciate all of Pei’s visits and highly recommend her to other dog owners.”

About: My family always had dogs since I can remember and at some point we also had a cat, a myna and a parrot. I was always surrounded by animals growing up and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I am also a children’s nurse so I can quickly pick up on and cater to any medical needs for your pet. I work full time and do shift work but on my day offs, I would love to spend time with some furry friends and give them all the love they need! I live in a flat with another girl who loves animal as well. I can cater to your pet’s specific needs as I do know that every pet is different and would needed to be communicated clearly.

“A well deserved 5-star rating to Kaela & JM. They provided exceptional care for my cat, showing genuine love, care and attention. They went above and beyond. I felt at ease knowing that my cat was in safe hands. Thank you Kaela and JM! ”

About: Hi! I’m Aimee — a nanny by day and an animal lover always. I currently work 1:30–6pm Monday to Friday, which means my mornings and evenings are free for dog walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting. I have two years of nannying experience with babies and young children. I’m kind, reliable, calm under pressure, and have an enhanced DBS for peace of mind. I’ve grown up with both cats and dogs since I was three and have spent over ten years caring for and pet sitting for friends and family. I currently have two rescue cats who are my absolute best friends. I even take them on walks! I also have experience giving cats medication and caring for pets with different needs. I also have experience caring for hamsters and rats! My two cats were rescued at just three weeks old after their mother passed away. I bottle fed them every two hours and made sure they grew into the happy, healthy cats they are today. I also rescued a mother cat and her four kittens while visiting Crete. I raised over £1000 for their care, got them flown to the UK, and found them loving homes. (you can see their transformation in my photos!) I treat every animal I care for like my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I work as a nanny from 1:30–6pm, Monday to Friday, which means my mornings and evenings are free for pet care. I love starting my day with a walk or drop-in visit and am also available for evening cuddles, feeding, or overnight stays if needed. When I’m in a pet’s home, I always follow the owner’s routine closely, keeping to their usual feeding times, walk schedules, and favourite toys or spots for cuddles. I make sure pets feel relaxed, safe, and loved while you’re away, and I keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you know they’re happy and well cared for.
About: I have done a wide range of pet care...everything from training pups to senior care. Happy to have kittens as well as older cats. All welcome! I currently am enjoying a well deserved break from work so I'm at home almost all the time. I would eventually like to turn petsitting into my fulltime job I have a secure fenced back garden and I am a 7 minute walk from the local park. If your pet is social, I have many neighbouring dogs who love to make new friends!
About: When I talk about the animals I look after with people, they initially assume it’s a person I’m referring to because of the way I talk about them. Like the caption says I prefer Animals to many people. I’ve take care of family and friends animals for years and want to broaden the range. Currently house sitting in Northolt for a family of 4 cats and a beautifully fluffy rescue dog. I also regularly dog walk and sit for friends when they’re low on help. I work from home w/ flexible hours and can do most timings, I also drive and walk w/ or without pets as I love nature so can incorporate them in to my daily life/routine easily, I always have wellies and treats/water. I am also an early riser so tend to walk 645am, 12-3pm and then again in the evening also. I am confident with animals and will defer to owners judgement when it comes to all things relating to their animals. I have house sit experience and am also used to storing multiple sets of keys. Also happy to walk w/ other dog walkers locally.

Zsuzsanna has looked after my two cats a couple times more and I may have to stop using her because I think the cats like her more than me! She is wonderful and kind with them, I feel very safe with them in her care. Every time I come back from a trip they come sprinting to the door hoping it’s her. Zsuzsanna great at sending updates as well. Can’t recommend enough!

Tsvetelina is absolutely amazing, and I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter. Before the booking even started, she took the time to come and meet my cat, which made both me and my cat feel much more comfortable. It was clear from the beginning that she genuinely cares about the pets she looks after. During every visit, she completed everything I asked, including changing the water, refilling the food, cleaning the litter box, and making sure everything was tidy. She also paid attention to the little details, like checking if the weather was too hot and making sure my cat was comfortable. I especially appreciated the detailed updates after every visit. She always sent videos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She also spent time playing with my cat and was incredibly patient and friendly, rather than just stopping by to complete the tasks. I truly felt that my cat was in the best hands. I highly recommend Tsvetelina to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and caring pet sitter. I will definitely book with her again in the future!

Patrycja was amazing ! Highly recommend. She was attentive to both my needs as an anxious cat parent and my cat’s needs. She sent pictures & updates. She even brought in my parcels & cleaned my flat for me. After a few days away, i found a tidy flat and a well looked after cat ! She was very mindful of the heatwave too and made sure to air out the flat when it was cooler & made sure to leave a fan going. My cat loved her too. She’s abit reserved with new people, but she took to Patrycja so well. She played with her, gave her snacks, always made sure she had plenty of food & water as per my instructions & always left a clean litter box. I loved how well she took care of my cat & i will definitely use her services again !

Alexandra was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional cat sitter.

Uma was fantastic with Leo while I was away! She took great care of him, kept me updated with messages and photos/videos, and gave me complete peace of mind. Leo was happy and relaxed when I got home, and I wouldn't hesitate to book Uma again. Highly recommend!

Janice was wonderful. My cats are quite scared as they are rescues from the RSPCA and had difficult starts in life but she even managed to get them to venture out to see her. Pics were sent and daily updates. Everything was neat and tidy and the cats are happy. Highly recommend and will definitely use her again.

I can’t even begin to thank Ingryd for taking all the stress out of leaving your fur baby at home! She popped in every evening to check on our cat, emptied her litter box, gave treats, and even added ice cubes to her water fountain! Ingryd also watered our plants, and brought in parcels that had been left outside. We won’t hesitate to get in contact next time we go on holiday, and we can’t thank you enough! :)

Viv did a great job of looking after Lena and Poppy while we were away for a few days. She took a lot of care to follow all the instructions we gave her before and during our trip, and kept us up to date with plenty of pictures and videos every day. We came home to relaxed happy cats, and are super grateful!

Supritha is absolutely adored by my two kitties! Even my more timid cat, who is usually very wary of strangers and tends to hide or run away, warmed up to and cuddled with her. She took wonderful care of them, spending lots of time playing with them, grooming them, and making sure they were happy and comfortable. Throughout the stay, she sent plenty of photos and videos, which was incredibly reassuring and helped me feel connected to my cats while I was away. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about animals, and I could see how relaxed and content my cats were in her care. I feel completely at ease leaving them with Supritha and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and attentive pet sitter. :)

I cannot recommend Stuart highly enough. He has looked after my cat on several occasions and has always been reliable, professional, and genuinely caring. From the very first meeting, it was clear that Stuart understands cats and their individual personalities. He took the time to learn about my cat's routine, preferences, and any specific needs – which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away.

We had Erica and Louie look after our cat for 3 days and couldn’t be happier with the experience. They were professional, attentive, and sent regular updates so we always knew our cat was in good hands. We came home to one very happy cat. We’ll definitely be booking again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
