“We had an AMAZING experience with Zsuzsanna! She took excellent care of Juno for 10 days and was absolutely wonderful. She visited him twice a day, made him feel very comfortable, and gave him plenty of playtime and attention. She even introduced him to “Cat TV,” which he now absolutely loves! It gave me us peace of mind knowing he was well cared.”

“Georgie and Dharam were fantastic with Iris. They handled her with so much patience and care, despite her being feisty. They were super reliable and kept us updated the entire time. Would 100% recommend to anyone”

“Viktoriia provided wonderful care to my older cat Lightning in my home while I was travelling. I received daily updates, photos and videos and I was very reassured Lightning was in good hands. Lightning seemed very comfortable with Viktoriia which was very reassuring for me. I would not hesitate to book Viktoriia again. Thank you so very much Viktoriia!!!”

“Amirah did a fantastic job of caring for my cat Tabitha. She followed all my requests well and made sure my cat was well cared for. She sent pictures & videos so I was reassured Tabitha was ok. This was my first time leaving Tabitha alone and I was quite worried, but Amirah did a great job of reassuring me everything was fine. I would not hesitate in recommending Amirah, and I will happily be booking her again when I go away next time if she’s available.”

I live in a pet-friendly apartment with two spacious balconies and access to a designated outdoor area for walks within the building. About: I've grown up surrounded by animals (dogs, cats, birds of all ages), worked in veterinary clinics and completed my bachelor's in Veterinary Sciences at the University of Nottingham. I am currently working full-time (from 9am to 5pm) in Canary Wharf, but would love to take care of pets afterwards or on the weekends. I pay a lot of attention to what they need, whether it be food, walks, or cuddles! If they're quieter, I give them space. If they're more excited and full of energy, I play with them!

“Elizabet was so good with Eevee and it seems like they had a wonderful time! Eevee can be really nervous so it was fab how much she enjoyed pets during Elizabet's first visit 🤗 Would definitely recommend Elizabet! She sent lots of photos and vids, and was able to arrive when we'd agreed. Five stars! 😊”

“I would highly recommend Shona. She took great care of my cat, even flagging a health issue, that we were able to work through together. All updates were thorough and the pictures she took gorgeous. Louis is looking forward to seeing her again!”

“Bettina is a superstar! She’s reliable, communicative, quickly understood my cat’s personality and their respective needs. She sent photos and videos regularly and left me feeling very reassured. I will definitely ask her again to look after my furry babies.”

“Nicol was amazing with our cat! She is super professional and made sure Cookie had everything she needed everyday while we were away. It was the first time we left her home alone for a holiday and we were quite anxious, but after seeing how fantastic Nicol was being with her we felt super relived! Honestly we couldn’t recommend Nicol enough!”

“When I met Nazanin before we went away I felt strongly that she was trustworthy and conscientious and she did not disappoint. She took good care of our cats and communicated very well with me. I recommend Nazanin if you need pet care.”

Nikola was a great sitter! She went above and beyond while watching my cat Lance for over a week, and was easy to communicate with. Lance can be a bit shy so it was great to see Nikola be patient with him and that Lance warmed up to her during her visits. Would recommend Nikola as a sitter to others!

Our two cats have never been left at home before and the thought of going on holiday worried me a lot. Terri was absolutely fantastic taking care of our cats for 3 weeks. It’s the longest we’ve been away and our nerves were relieved by daily check ins and updates on what care had been given each day according to what we had advised. Terri is lovely, has a clear love for pets, and when we came home our two cats were just as normal. Cannot recommend her more! Thank you Terri!!!

Viv looked after our cat, Penelope for 4 days while we were away on holiday. As it was our first time leaving Penelope, we were a little anxious as she's quite a shy , nervous cat, but Viv completely understood this from the beginning. She came in twice a day to feed her, clean her litter box and just spend some time with her. She kept us updated with lots of photos and videos and we felt completely reassured that Penelope was in good hands! We will definitely book Viv again for future trips!

Alberto is EVERYTHING we wanted in a sitter! He’s punctual, clean, communicative and very precise. But more than any of this, he treated our cats exactly as we would, and our cats loved him! He really has a way with them - he gave each of them equal amounts of time, and he played and kept them engaged. They were so calm and relaxed when we came back as though they hadn’t been left alone at all, and it just gave us so much peace knowing they were being so well looked after. To find someone who genuinely cares for cats is very rare, and I’m so glad we found him. Needless to say, Alberto is going to be our go-to sitter every time we need to go somewhere.

Estelle was great! She took great care of our two cats and kept us regularly updated while we were away, which gave us real peace of mind. It was clear they were happy and well looked after. We’d happily book her again and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a great cat sitter!
Moesha looked after Messi while we were away for the weekend. She was great from the initial meeting where I shared details of Messi’s usual routine to all the communication while we were away. Daily photos and videos showed he was being very well looked after and was very chilled and happy. Thank you Moesha!

Shettley was FANTASTIC! She was so attentive to my two cats and sent me lovely videos, showing how comfortable they were with her. She kept me informed all through the weekend, and it was very reassuring. It was ckk k ear that they were well looked after. I would highly recommend her and will definitely book her again.

Luna was very well taken care of in my absence! She’s very anxious around people and tends to hide from sitters, but Jan Kaela was extremely patient with her and even managed to make her feel comfortable enough to leave her hiding spot! I will absolutely be booking her again next time I’m away :)

Amit was absolutely fantastic looking after our cats while we were away. He came in twice a day and very quickly built a great rapport with all of them. It was clear they were really comfortable and happy with him. He’s also just a genuinely lovely guy, friendly, reliable and clearly great with animals. It was really reassuring knowing the cats were in such good hands while we were away. We’d happily have Amit look after them again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him!
A lovely lady. My cats are very suspicious of people, but Storm took to Ksenia very quickly. Breeze a little later. Her careful approach and gentle persona soon soon them over in no time. I received regular updates on them, as well as photos, which took away the story of how they were getting on. I would recommend Ksenia to sit for your 🐈/ 🐈 🐈

I cannot recommend Georgia B highly enough. She took exceptional care of my cats while I was away, visiting them twice a day, playing with them, and carefully following all of my instructions for their feeding, routines, and wellbeing. She was incredibly attentive, caring, and reliable, which gave me complete peace of mind. What truly sets her apart is her kindness and genuine love for animals. When one of my cats became ill during my absence, she went above and beyond, providing extra care and attention and even cooking chicken soup for him to help with his recovery. Her compassion, dedication, and thoughtfulness meant the world to me. Beyond being an outstanding pet sitter, she is a fantastic human being: kind, trustworthy, considerate, and deeply caring. It is obvious that she truly loves animals and treats them as if they were her own. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their cats or other pets. Any pet would be lucky to be in her care. Special thank you from us, Vinnie & Missy ❤️🐾

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
